쌍선형 변환을 이용한 TIM 구조를 갖는 과표본화율의 A/D변환기에 관한 연구 (A study on the Oversampling A/D Converter with TIM Structure designed by the bilinear transform)

  • In this paper, using tile concept of block digital filtering, and the design procedure of time-interleaved oversampling converter are presented. it is shown that arbitrary sigma-delta A/D converter can be converted into corresponding time-interleaved structure. The TIM structure of this paper is designed by the bilinear transform. To verify the simulation results, a second-order TIM structure A/D converter has been implemented and the design process as well as experimented results are presented.

  • The mechanical jointing method is very important in the machine parts and structure. They are used by the bolts and rivet because it is very convenient to replace the parts and the structure. However, the mechanical jointing methods using the bolt and rivet needed the open hole. The machine parts life cycle is reduced because this open hole created the stress concentration. Therefore, the measurement methods are needed to evaluate phenomenon of the stress concentration. This paper discusses the development of the measurement algorithm using the digital image correlation methods to measure the strain distribution of the open hole. To implement the measurement algorithm using the DIC, the LabVIEW 2010 programming tool was used. To measure the strain distribution of the open hole, the tensile specimens having an open hole are made by using the aluminum 6061-T6. To secure the reliability of measurement result using the DIC, the DIC measurement results and FEM analysis results were compared.

  • Fashion and interior architecture are two areas of design that may share common issues, trends and philosophies, making fashion design human's second skin and interior architecture the third. The concept of 'skin' has become one of the most interesting phenomena in design during the past decade and not surprisingly similar issues can be seen also in fashion and architectural design. The current trend in fashion design is that the skin (clothing) has become detached from the human body and extended into the environment, resulting fashion as art objects. Skin in architecture and interior design has also become detached from the structure so designers have more freedom to experiment by using advanced technologies. The present study attempts to analyze common features of 'skin phenomenon' in fashion and interior architecture that are; detachment, emphasis on space, extension, territorial blending, and digital applications. The researcher has used constant comparative method to categorize the five features among many examples. The limitation of this study is that it is focused on the formative phenomena of projects excluding the philosophies and personal background of each designer. However, it is hoped that the study may assist designers and other researchers to understand relationships between fashion and interior design, hold broader spectrum in art and design.

  • This paper proposes a design and implementation of transversal adaptive digital filter using LMS (Least Mean Squares) adaptive algorithm. The filter structure is based on Distributed Arithmetic (DA) which is able to calculate the inner product by shifting and accumulating of partial products and storing in look-up table, also the desired adaptive digital filter will be multiplierless filter. In addition, the hardware implementation uses VHDL (Very high speed integrated circuit Hardware Description Language) and synthesis using FLEX10K Altera FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) as target technology and uses Leonardo Spectrum and MAX+plusII program for overall development. The results of this design are shown that the speed performance and used area of FPGA. The experimental results are presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the desired adaptive digital filter.

  • 본 논문에서는 적층 Inter-digital 공진기를 이용한 LTCC 대역통과 여파기의 등가회로를 제안하고, 2.4 GHz 대역의 여파기 설계에 적용하였다. 본 논문의 LTCC 적층 칩 대역통과 여파기는 평면상에서는 Comb-line 구조이고 단면상에서는 Inter-digital 구조로 구성된다. Comb-line 구조와 Inter-digital 구조의 평행 결합선로의 등가회로를 본 논문의 여파기에 적용하여 여파기 전체의 등가회로를 구성하였다. 이 등가회로는 공진기 사이의 결합 구조가 다중의 결합 구조를 갖는다. 이를 하나의 결합 구조로 통합하여 인버터를 이용한 대역통과 여파기의 설계방법을 적용하였다. 2.4 GHz 대역에서 3단의 대역통과 여파기를 설계, 제작하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 표준 디지털 0.18 ${\mu}m$ CMOS 공정을 기반으로 하는 RF 집적회로 설계를 위해 인덕터 라이브러리를 개발하였다. 개발된 인덕터 라이브러리에는 일반적인 표준(standard) 구조의 인덕터를 비롯하여, PGS(Patterned Ground Shield)를 적용하여 Q 지수를 향상시킨 인덕터, 금속선의 직렬 저항을 줄임으로써 Q 지수를 향상시킨 다층금속선(multilayer) 인덕터, 같은 면적에서 높은 인덕턴스 구현에 유리한 적층형(stacked) 인덕터 등을 포함한다. 본 논문에서는 각 인덕터 구조에 대하여 측정 결과와 3차원 전자기파 시뮬레이션 결과를 바탕으로 한 특성 해석 및 비교 분석을 하였고, 각 구조에 대한 등가회로 모델 확립 및 추출 과정도 연구하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 여러 설계 요구 사항을 만족시키는 최적의 인덕터 설계가 가능해졌으며 표준 CMOS 공정을 이용하는 저가의 RF 집적회로 개발이 가능해진다.

  • A 9-bit 80-MS/s CMOS pipelined folding analog-to-digital converter employing offset-canceled preamplifiers and a subranging scheme is proposed to extend the resolution of a folding architecture. A fully differential dc-decoupled structure achieves high linearity in circuit design. The measured differential nonlinearity and integral nonlinearity of the prototype are ${\pm}0.6$ LSB and ${\pm}1.6$ LSB, respectively.

  • An exploration for an emotional intelligence paradigm has been delineated. Emotional intelligence is investigated in terms of composing machine as a modern abstract art. The system consists of interface, plan and performance modules. Design concepts of the system are modular, open, and user friendly to ensure the overall performance.   • Recent development in the digital relay technology has introduced the adaptive relaying system which adopts the relays to the current operating states. This paper proposes the hierarchical digital protection system whose design has been based on 154 kV S/S. Applying the newest communication networking, the system provides the new protection capabilities improving the system reliability and speed.
