An adaptive clock recovery utilizing data buffer filling rate (수신 데이타의 버퍼 점유률을 이용한 적응클럭 복원)

  • In this paper we propose a new timing recovery method by means of utilizing service data filling rate instead of timing information of transmitter. A proposed algorithm controls the phase locked loop in the opposite direction ot data filling rate of FIFO in receiver, and it is based on the fact that average of cell jitters is zero. The proposed method is simple compared with timing information method of transmitter. It can be utilized for timing recovery in synchronous digital hierarchy as well as in plesiochronous digial hierarchy without common reference clocks in end-to-end erminals. We implement the interactive video communication system and test the proposed algorithm. As a result, we hav econfirmed that it yields good perfomrnces in terms of jitters characteristics and hardware complexity.

  • In this paper, the efficient implementation technique of media processing part in the terrestrial and satellite DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiver is presented. To implement the unified multimedia Processor of DMB receiver, we investigated the characteristic of DMB service and the functionality of each processing part in the DMB receiver. To implement the synchronization between audio and video media, we present the general method to use the reference clock of the stream in the DMB receiver. Also we present the method to handle the bit error of the received bitstream within the wireless net work for robust media processor.

  • This research classified the customer service factor of on-line shopping mall into tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, and empathy and analyzed the effect that the factors affect to consumer's purchase and re-purchase. If we present suggestions on the basis of these results of study, we would provide next two points: First, purchasers have utilized online shopping mall who pursued free from hard sell that being done in off-line and convenience of purchase affected more by reliability and responsiveness such as the fame of shopping mall that visit, reliability of security, and quick product search than the Customer of After-purchase Feedback influence for online purchasers decision factor out of consumer's purchase and re-purchase by on-line shopping mall customer service factor. Second, This study analyzed that online re-purchaser recognized the Customer of After-purchase Feedback factor high and built their loyalty through friendly emotion of on-line shopping mall and satisfaction of shopping mall service, and recommendation. In addition, they behave themselves as an affirmative messenger that is role of the Customer of After-purchase Feedback that make active opinion presentation and participation through community by important adjustment impact that empathy factor of on-line shopping mall customer service.

Study of Stock Information Applications' User Experience -Focused on Finance Expert Users of Kakao Stock and JeungGwon Tong- (주식 정보 애플리케이션 사용자 경험 연구 -카카오증권과 증권통의 금융 전문가 사용자 중심으로-)

  • Stock information applications allow users to look up and find current stock information whenever and wherever. This study researched what kind of user experience the finance experts get when using these applications and what they suggest. The research was conducted through an in-depth interview of 8 finance experts, who worked minimum of three years, and used both Kakao Stock and JeungGwon Tong, the most used stock information applications, for a minimum duration of six months. The results show the user experience of Kakao Stock rated a bit higher than JeungGwon Tong. Since the objective of such applications are to show stock informations, the experts all rated the pleasurable and meaningful aspects rather low. They suggested, the developers should provide a more advanced and accurate information. They also suggested user interest recognized content be presented along with more convenient user interface to elevate usability. Hopefully, this study becomes a base to further study of user experience of various on and offline stock information services and they become a reference to develop a service with great user experience.

  • The importance of Knowledge Management (KM) can be easily recognized in many diverse aspects of the theory studies and in KM's efforts to help implement the government's policy to innovate corporation management. The core of KM is to improve the circulation of knowledge by generation, accumulation, sharing, utilization and acquisition by learning. The improvement of knowledge circulation would result in high quality and quantity of intellectual assets in corporations and make decision-making more efficient. This, too, is the operational philosophy of the special libraries. The primary objective of this study is to promote KM by presenting KM methodology and by explaining a theoretical background and cases, based on the existing special libraries. I cite an example of a case wherein merging intellectual assets and human resources activated the company culture. The reference service system, which is the core of the special library, was used in this merging.

  • Offering subject-oriented services by subject experts is an effective method of enhancing the quality of digital reference services in university libraries. However, it is not easy to implement due to the Korean librarian education system and a shortage of human resources. Thus, as an alternative, we proposed an SDI (selective dissemination of information) profiler system using the concept of a profiler which is used in crime psychology as a specialist who studies a person's behavior for clues to psychology to aid in capturing them, under the assumption that conducting SDI services is one of the subject experts' key roles. And we also mentioned the procedures and methods of how to apply it to the reference services of university libraries. The proposed SDI profiler system can change the roles of university librarians from passive to active. Furthermore, it also allows librarians to provide their clients with customized SDI services, thus improving reference services.

A Study on the Work Type of Machine Learning Administrative Service in Metropolitan Government (광역자치단체의 기계학습 행정서비스 업무유형에 관한 연구 -서울시를 중심으로-)

  • The background of this study is that machine learning administrative services are recently attracting attention as a major policy tool for non-face-to-face administrative services in the post-corona era. This study investigated the types of work expected to be effective when introducing machine learning administrative services for Seoul Metropolitan Government officials who are piloting machine learning administrative services. The research method is a machine that can be introduced by organizational unit by distributing and collecting questionnaires for Seoul administrative organizations that have performed machine learning-based administrative services for one month in July 2020 targeting Seoul public officials using machine learning-based administrative services. By analyzing the learning administration service and application service, the business characteristics of each machine learning administration service type such as supervised learning work type, unsupervised learning work type, and reinforced learning work type were analyzed. As a result of the research analysis, it was found that there were significant differences in the characteristics of administrative tasks by supervised and unsupervised learning areas. In particular, it was found that the reinforcement learning domain contains the most appropriate business characteristics for machine learning administrative services. Implications were drawn. The results of this study can be provided as a reference material to practitioners who want to introduce machine learning administration services, and can be used as basic data for research to researchers who want to study machine learning administration services in the future.

The Detection of Heat Emission to Solar Cell using UAV-based Thermal Infrared Sensor (UAV 기반 열적외선 센서를 이용한 태양광 셀의 발열 검출)

  • Many studies have been implemented to manage solar plant being supplied widely in recent years. This study analyzed heat emission of solar cell using unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)-based thermal infrared sensor, and major conclusions are as belows. Firstly, orthomosaic image and digital surface model(DSM) data were acquired using UAV-based RGB sensor, and solar light module layer necessary to analyze the heat emission of solar cell was constructed by these data. Also as a result of horizontal error into validation points using virtual reference service(VRS) survey for evaluating the location accuracy of solar light module layer, higher location accuracy could be acquired like standard error of $dx={\pm}2.4cm$ and $dy={\pm}3.2cm$. And this study installed rubber patch to test the heat emission of solar cell and could analyzed efficiently the location of rubber patch being emitted heat using UAV-based thermal infrared sensor. Also standard error showd as ${\pm}3.5%$ in analysis between calculated cell ratio by rubber patch and analyzed cell ratio by UAV-based thermal infrared sensor. Therefore, it could be efficiently analyzed to heat emission of solar cell using UAV-based thermal infrared sensor. Also efficient maintenance of solar plant could be possible through extracting the code of solar light module being emitted of heat automatically.

An Analysis on Education Needs for Information Literacy Programs of Professional Secretaries (전문비서 정보활용 교육과정 개발을 위한 교육요구 분석 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to raise the importance of information literacy programs for professional secretaries and to present guidelines for organizing them. While the level of projects in secretaries' information service is defined as an influencing factor to the necessity of information literacy programs, the level of scholarships or secretarial science as a major is not. An analysis on education needs of secretaries recommended that curriculum should be composed of 15 topics such as: meta search engines, special search engines, boolean operators, digital libraries, usenet, information centers, internet reference sources, SDI, topic search request, document delivery service, e-journals, commercial databases, fulltext service, search strategy and general search engines.

University Library's New Research Support Service Focusing on Scholarly Communication in Open Science Era (오픈 사이언스 시대에 대비한 대학도서관의 새로운 학술커뮤니케이션 지원 서비스)

  • Open Science Project, which enables users to access and utilize public research results in a digital format, is being actively promoted overseas, and American university libraries are interested in research support service. Among the three OECD implementation measures, 'capacity building' can be effectively prepared through librarians' research support services. Therefore, this study investigated the policy of research support service implemented in leading American 13 university libraries in preparation for the open science era focusing on the recent literatures and library websites. Based on the best cases of research support service of American university libraries, I analyzed the homepage of 19 domestic research universities' library focusing on scholarly communication service and suggested improvements. In Korea, open access service and management of research data are lacking in terms of experience and expertise. This study result can be used as a basic reference when establishing the research support service plan needed in the open science era in the university library and can contribute to the improvement of the research ability of domestic researchers by introducing internationally competitive research support services.
