  • 본 논문에서는 벡터 양자화(Vector Quantization)를 이용해서 소유자의 저작물에 대해 저작권을 보호할 수 있는 디지털 워터마킹(Watermarking) 기법을 제안한다. 소유자의 워터마크 정보로는 사용자 정보를 비밀키를 이용해서 암호화한 데이터를 사용하며, 워터마킹 처리는 원본 이미지를 웨이블렛 기반의 벡터 양자화(Vector Quantization)에 사용되는 코드북(Coodbook)을 이용한다. 코드북을 사용함으로서 양질의 정보를 유지하면서 워터마킹을 효과적으로 처리할 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we describe the contents of noise characteristic enhancement using digital filtering to the motion vector in the pattern noise of optical mouse. The designed circuit is implemented to enhance the smoothing and trembling with filtering and averaging of x, y motion vector before PS2 or USB output. The function is verified by using FPGA and the performance is measured by the fabricated chip using $0.35{\mu}m$ standard CMOS process. The system clock is 6MHz and the motion vector has the range of +6 to -6 per 1/1700sec. It is tested using the Cartesian robot to measure the noise characteristic enhancement.

  • In this paper, an efficient frequency offset synchronization structure for OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) is proposed. Conventional CORDIC(Coordinate Rotation Digital Computer) algorithm for frequency offset synchronization utilizes two CORDIC hardware i.e., one is vector mode for phase estimation, the other is rotation mode for compensation. But proposed structure utilizes one CORDIC hardware and divider. Through simulation, it is shown that hardware implementation complexity is reduced compared with conventional structures. The Verilog-HDL coding and front-end chip implementation results for the proposed structure show 22.1% gate count reduction comparison with those of the conventional structure.

  • In this paper, the algorithm is suggested for inserting and extracting the watermark in the digital map of vector form. This kind of algorithm was first anounced by the sakamoto[1]. In order to use watermarking in the digital map, the map is analyzed and experimented to protect the map data. As for the vector watermarking, there are few references and need more research for the theoretical back ground. As for this, in this paper, experiment of the immunity against the noise is conducted for the selection of the proper immunity factor.

  • A new method on the hardware implementation of multi-channel Finite Impulse Response(FIR) digital filter using vector multiplication structure is proposed. The proposed method can reduce the complexity of hardware structure and improve execution speed. The frequency response of four channel digital filter implemented by the above method is quite agreeable with the frquency response simulated by Remez method.

  • Traditional culture's researcher has attempting to public use as a various method. Example is design of digital archive and digital contents. However, in spite of this effort, traditional culture's researcher has difficulty to public use. Because traditional culture is hard to understand, and less interest than the other area. Especially, traditional culture has not environment that user can searching and using the culture's information due to difficult to search the data and layers. We propose a design to make an ontology using information profile for digital contents of traditional culture. Also, we use topic-map for the factors of ontology's relation, and specify their relation using topic vector.

  • This paper presents the development of certain highly efficient and accurate method for computing tangent curves for three-dimensional vector fields. Unlike conventional methods, such as Runge-Kutta method, for computing tangent curves which produce only approximations, the method developed herein produces exact values on the tangent curves based upon piecewise linear variation over a tetrahedral domain in 3D. This new method assumes that the vector field is piecewise linearly defined over a tetrahedron in 3D domain. It is also required to decompose the hexahedral cell into five or six tetrahedral cells for three-dimensional vector fields. The critical points can be easily found by solving a simple linear system for each tetrahedron. This method is to find exit points by producing a sequence of points on the curve with the computation of each subsequent point based on the previous. Because points on the tangent curves are calculated by the explicit solution for each tetrahedron, this new method provides correct topology in visualizing 3D vector fields.

  • Virtual source location information (VSLI) has been newly utilized as a spatial cue for compact representation of multichannel audio. This information is represented as the azimuth of the virtual source vector. The superiority of VSLI is confirmed by comparison of the spectral distances, average bit rates, and subjective assessment with a conventional cue.

  • Generally, GIS digital map has been represented and transmitted by ASCII and Binary data forms. Among these forms, Binary form has been widely used in many GIS application fields for the transmission of mass map data. In this paper, we present a hierarchical compression technique of polyline and polygon components for effective storage and transmission of vector map with various degree of decision. These components are core geometric components that represent main layers in vector map. The proposed technique performs firstly the energy compaction of all polyline and polygon components in spatial domain for the lossless compression of detailed vector map and compress independently integer parts and fraction parts of 64bit floating points. From experimental results, we confirmed that the proposed technique has superior compressive performance to the conventional data compression of 7z, zip, rar and gz.
