라이센스 에이젼트를 이용한 멀티미디어 데이터관리 및 감시 시스템 설계 (The Design of a Multimedia Data Management and Monitoring System for using License Agent)

  • As the logistic environment of digital contents is rapidly changing, the protection of the digital rights for digital content has been recognized as one of critical issues. Digital Right Management(DRM) has taken much interest Internet Service Provider(ISP), authors and publishers of digital content as an interested approach to create a trusted environment for access and use of digital resources. This paper propose an interested digital rights protection scheme using license agent to address problems facing contemporary DRM approached : static digital rights management, and limited application to on-line environment. We introduce a dynamic mission control technology to realize dynamic digital rights management. And we incorporate license agent to on- and off-line monitoring and tracking. The proposed system prevent illegal access and use by using PKI security method, real time action monitoring for user, data security for itself.

Digital Health in Southeast Asia: Startups and Digital Technology Applications

  • The purpose of this article is to provide preliminary findings on the state of digital technology applications of startups in Southeast Asia and to discuss issues related to digital health adoption in the region. This exploratory study is based on an empirical analysis of startups and digital technology applications information from various publicly available website databases. Public and private organizations would benefit from a better understanding of the current state of digital technology applications provided by startups and the challenges faced in digital health adoption. This article contributes to the existing literature by offering an overview of startups and digital technology applications in the digital health space in the fast-growing region of Southeast Asia. It offers advice to organizations intending to pursue healthtech initiatives on the types of health services provided by startups and issues that need to be addressed to increase the adoption rate.

  • Image has more power in the 21st century than ever before. With the advance in technology and media, image is either made or received more easily and promptly using digital technology. Because of that, it has been hard for digital images to gain value as a work of art. But after NFT technology was developed and then applied to digital images, we have come to distinguish the original from the copy of it. People are trying various ways to allow digital images to be acknowledged as art, and changing the nature of digital images that makes new paradigms in the history of art. Through NFT artworks rising as a new style, this paper analyzed and investigated the new properties and changing characteristics of digital images in order to anticipate the characteristics of artworks that the public produces, enjoys, and consumes. This study is grounded on experimental analysis methods, and this author expects that it can contribute to figuring out which kinds of visual culture and artworks digital image is influencing currently from various perspectives.

디지털 시민성 함양을 위한 디지털교과서 활용 방안 (Using of Digital Textbook for the Cultivation of Digital Citizenship)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 초·중등학생들의 디지털 시민성 함양을 위한 디지털교과서 활용 방안을 제시하는 데 있다. 이를 위해 디지털 시민성 관련 국내외 연구결과를 고찰하여 디지털 시민성의 정의 및 구성 요소를 분석하였고, 분석내용을 토대로 현장 교사, 교육전문가, 정부 기관이 참여하는 협의체를 구성하여 초·중등학생들을 위한 디지털 시민성의 구성 요소, 역량 모델, 디지털교과서를 활용한 수업 방법을 제시하였다. 그 결과, '디지털 리터러시', '디지털 의사소통', '디지털 윤리', '디지털 책임감', '디지털 창의성 및 협력' 5가지 구성 요소를 도출하였고, 학교 현장 적용을 위해 'Triangle competency model'을 구안하였으며, 도출한 디지털 시민성 요소별 디지털교과서 활용 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 초·중등학생들의 디지털 시민성 함양을 위한 구체적인 방법과 내용을 제시하였다는 것에 그 의의가 있다.

  • 코로나19로 무인·비대면 중심의 디지털 대전환이 가속화되고 있다. 디지털 문명처럼 디지털 시대로 변해가지만, 디지털을 사용하지 못하는 사람에게는 일상 속 불편이 디지털 문맹 수준으로 하락하고 있다. 디지털 사용자와 비사용자 간의 사회적 격차가 생기고 디지털 비사용자는 사회에서 분리되는 상황이 발생하고 있다. 디지털 소외계층의 디지털 사회화를 위해 디지털 세계로의 전환이 가속화되고 일상생활에서 디지털 사용능력이 중요시되고 있다. 디지털 세계로의 전환이 가속화될수록 개인의 사회적·경제적 차이가 발생하고 있다. 이러한 문제로 인해 사회의 지속 가능 성장을 저해하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 디지털 교육을 누구나 편리하게 받기 위해서 국민 누구나 받을 수 있는 교육으로 접근성이 뛰어난 교육 모델을 설계하고자 한다. 일생 생활에 필요한 디지털 기본역량을 단계적으로 제안하고 편하게 받을 수 있는 디지털 종합 역량교육을 통하여 생활의 불편함을 해소하고 보편적으로 사용할 수 있는 디지털 교육 모델을 제안하고자 한다.

디지털대학도서관 설계를 위한 이론적 고찰 (A study on digital library for design in university library)

  • 종래의 전통적 대학도서관은 인터넷 기술의 발달로 인하여 새로운 형태의 디지털 라이브러리로 변모하고 있다. 인쇄자료는 국제교환표준문서 표준 디지털 파일로 목록은 메타데이터로 이용자는 네트워크가 접속되는 전세계 이용자로, 자료는 무한정 복사가 가능한 형태로 바뀌고 있다. 국가 정보 하부구조를 위한 대학도서관 디지털 라이브러리 구축은 미래 정보화사회에 매우 중요한 것으로 본 논문에서는 기존의 디지털 라이브러리 기술에 대한 분석을 통하여 기하급수적으로 발생하는 전자문서를 관리하는 문제, ISO에서 문서 교환표준으로 제정한 SGML 문서의 구조 둥 앞으로 추진할 디지털 라이브러리의 모습을 모델링한다.

디지털 인상 채득 시 흔히 발생하는 오류에 관한 연구 - CEREC$^{(R)}$ AC의 사례 중심으로 - (A study on Common Errors in Digital Impressions: (An Example of CEREC$^{(R)}$ AC))

  • Purpose: The purpose of the study was a quantitative evaluation of common errors in digital impression procedure using CEREC$^{(R)}$ AC system. Methods: Two-hundreds digital impression data comprising 174 inlays, 26 onlays by CEREC$^{(R)}$ AC in-office CAD/CAM system were obtained from a dental clinic. One evaluator assessed errors of the digital impression data and divided into five categories of errors: inappropriate scanner positioning (ISP), improper handling with a scanner (IHS), irregular powder arrangement (IPA), improper cavity preparation (ICP), and insufficient scanned data (ISD). Results: The most common errors were IPA(21%), and ISP and ISD were followed by 17% respectively. IHS was found in 14.5% of all digital impression data. ICP comprising only 6.5% was the rarest. Conclusion: Most errors were due to inaccurate manipulation with an intraoral scanner or improper cavity preparation for scanning. A deliberate manipulation to prevent common errors mentioned may deliver an optimal result in the digital impression procedure.

Digital Marketing of Cotton to Generation Y College Students

  • Purpose - Gen Y college students have emerged as a profitable consumer segment because of their growing purchasing power and influence on others' buying decisions. Digital marketing is deemed effective in increasing Gen Y college students' knowledge of and interest in products and services. This research examined the effect of digital marketing on Gen Y college students'perceptions, attitudes and purchase intentions toward cotton clothing compared to that of conventional print marketing and no marketing. Research design, Date and Methodology -Data were collected from three different groups of college students from a large university in the U.S.: the group with no cotton marketing, those with print media marketing, and those with digital marketing. Result - The findings confirmed that college students who were exposed to cotton digital marketing displayed the highest level of agreement on the benefits of cotton clothing. They also exhibited the most favorable attitudes and strongest purchase intentions toward cotton clothing. Conclusions - To target Gen Y consumers effectively, marketers should consider a digital marketing strategy to promote their products and services.

Banco do Brasil - Individual Entity Customer Satisfaction with the Digital Relationship Model

  • The main objective of this study was to investigate the customer's satisfaction level with the digital relationship model of Banco do Brasil Exclusive Business Offices situated in Rio Grande do Sul. Banco do Brasil is one of the largest Brazilian and global financial institutions and conducted a restructuring customer's relationship model since 2015, creating new specific service structures for certain segments, among them exclusive offices. This research had a qualitative step with an internal documentary analysis about the company and a semi-structured interview with manager's offices, in order to check the strategy and the foundations of business model, as well as identify perceptions and the difficulties in implementing this new structure. The quantitative step held the findings about customer satisfaction level in relation to the quality of services provided by offices, through an electronic survey based on the Servqual Scale developed by Parasuraman et al. (1988), which measures the difference between customer's expectations and perception in five dimensions: tangibility, reliability, understanding, safety and empathy. The results shown that Banco do Brasil customers' are satisfied with services offered through the digital model and the new business structure, in which is offered a humanized service together with the best technology. It was found, also, that digital probably would not replace the physical world, but they complement one another. Digital offices and physical agencies will coexist, improving value proposition delivery and better customers experience, satisfy them and build their loyalty.

연속제어기의 GSHF(Generalized Sampled-data Hold Function)을 이용한 디지탈 재설계시의 이산적 GRAMMIAN 행렬의 사용 (Digital Redesign using the Discrete Grammian Method)

  • Digital redesign techniques are to derive a digital controller fred the existing continuous controller and its plant so that the performance of the digitally controlled system is matched as closely as possible to that of the original continuous system at the sampling instants. Recently a new digital redesign technique, was developed to use the generalized sampled-data hold function(GSHF) based on the the grammian matrix. With this new technique the digitally redesigned system showed several good features compared with any existing technique in terms of the state match at the sampling instants, the large sampling period, and the transient reponses. This paper concerns a further improvement of the new digital redesign technique by employing the discrete grammian matrix instead of the continuous grammian matrix in defining GSHF. With this modification, it was observed by simulation that the transient response of the modified digital system shows far better performance than the digital system based on the continuous grammian matrix.
