With increasing interest in the health and safety of food served in restaurants, more emphasis is being placed on the importance of health and food. As a result, Yaksun cuisine with new added effects and image is becoming more popular as a way to improve people's health. This study analyzed the effects of selection attributes relating to Yaksun cuisine on customer satisfaction and intention to maintain relationship in order to understand various needs of consumers as they relate to health food. The results showed that, among selection attributes of Yaksun cuisine, price, safety, and health were found to have significant effects on customer satisfaction; however, the effect of quality on satisfaction was not verified. Moreover, while the effect of safety and health of Yaksun cuisine on the intention to maintain relationship was found to be significant, the effects of quality and price on the intention to maintain relationship were not verified. These findings suggest that consumers believe Yaksun cuisine is more beneficial for health than general food and trust the origin label, hygiene, and safety of ingredients in Yaksun cuisine. Therefore, the results of this study suggests providing opportunities for consumers to experience diverse tastes in Yaksun cuisine and that development and promotion of different recipes using Yaksun ingredients will help reinforce competitiveness of Yaksun cuisine in the market and increase sales.

This paper presents vessel contour for extracting features and segmentating narrow blood vessels down to a diameter of two pixels in digital subtraction angiographic image. We present a new tracking algorithm for contour, mainly blood vessels in DSA image, and extracting properties such as their intensities, diameters, and center lines by exploiting spatial continuity. The proposed algorithm comes to detect blood vessel's boundary using difference edge detector one of homogeneity operator and find a next centerline position by direction vector of edge information. This algorithm enhanced variation of vessel's diameter compared to Sun's tracking algorithm and lessoned to compute as direction vector decide adaptively entire vessel's direction field. The processed images are intended to support radiologists in diagnosis, radiation therapy planning, and surgical planning. The algorithm should be useful for automating angiographic analyses of blood vessels.

Many social and environmental changes have emerged due to the increasing size of the aging generation. This study explored the current status of the information leisure activity of the aging generation (computer use activity, internet service participation, social community participation and blogging, UCC, etc.) and the need for serious games among elderly consumers. It analyzed the current status of serious game and information leisure span as determined by experts on elderly care at the aging welfare institute. The research methods involved applying content analysis and focus group interviews. The results were as follows: The elderly are willing to enjoy the internet and economics networks. In particular, economic investment, economic news, health, meetings, and communication are the main internet search categories. The results for serious games are less interesting than those for IT participation. The components of usefulness in terms of serious games, as identified by care experts, are simplicity, a user-friendly interface, efficacy, and certainty in using the game device. Care experts recognize that serious games represent a supplementary device to traditional physical and emotional therapy.

In this paper, we examine whether the 3D image experience through a light-field display device showed the difference in the arousal of the user compared with the 2D image experience. For our experiment, the Looking Glass^TM (LG) was used as a lightfield display device that provided 3D images, and 2D images were provided by digital and printed images. The subject's facial behavior during each media experience was recorded for analysis and the degree of arousal was measured by FaceReader^TM. As a result, the first image presented in the first order among the three kinds of images showed that there was a statistical difference in the degree of arousal between the three media. However, no significant differences were found between the three media in the other images. This may be because the arousal did not increase from the experience of the second image through the LG, owing to habituation. In conclusion, the 3D imaging experience may appear in the beginning, but does not continue.

More complex radiotherapy techniques using multi leaf collimation(MLC) such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy(IMRT) has been increasing the significance of verification of leaf position and motion. Due to the reliability and robustness, quality assurance(QA) of MLC is usually performed with portal films. However, the advantage of ease of use and capability of providing digital data of electronic portal imaging devices(EPIDs) have attracted many attentions as alternatives of films for routine quality assurance in spite of the concerns about their clinical feasibility, efficacy, and the cost to benefit ratio. In our work, the method of routine QA of MLC using electronic portal imaging(EPI) was developed. The verification of availability of EPI images for routine QA was performed by comparison with those of the portal films which were simultaneously obtained when radiation was delivered and known prescription input to MLC controller. Specially designed test patterns of dynamic MLC were applied to image acquisition. Quantitative off-line analysis using edge detection algorithm enhanced the verification procedure in addition to on-line qualitative visual assessment. In conclusion, the EPI is available enough for routine QA with the accuracy of portal films.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of hand moxibustion for reduction of pain during menstruation. Method: Fifteen women were selected as subjects and data collection was conducted from September to December 2003. The Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Digital Infrared Thermotraphic Image (DITI) were used to measure the degree of pain and body heat. Result: The results showed that there was a significant reduction of pain during menstruation when hand moxibustion was performed. Also, there were significant differences in the change of body heat. These were left hands (Z=-2.805, p=.005), right hands (Z=-2.805, p=.005) and lower abdomen (Z=-2.803, p=.005). Conclusion: It was found that hand moxibustion decreased pain during menstruation and increased body heat. Therefore, hand moxibustion may be a good method for intervention to decrease pain during menstruation.

Purpose : There is no validated method for measuring the toe flexor strength that can isolate the intrinsic muscles of the foot from the extrinsic muscles. This study compared the hallux flexion force (HFF) and muscle activity in the foot and ankle according to ankle position [plantarflexion (PF), neutral, and dorsiflexion (DF)]. Method : The study enrolled 17 subjects. In the sitting position, the HFF and activities of the abductor hallucis (AbdH), tibialis anterior (TA), and gastrocnemius (GCM) muscles were measured using a digital dynamometer and a wireless electromyography system, respectively. Subjects were instructed to flex the great toe maximally in three different ankle positions. Three 5-second trials were performed to measure the HFF and muscle activities in each condition. Repeated-measures ANOVA was used to compare the variables and paired t-tests with the Bonferroni correction were used for post-hoc pair-wise comparisons. The significance level was set at .016. Result : The HFF in DF was significantly greater than in any other ankle position (p<.01). The TA activity was greatest in ankle DF and that of the GCM was greatest in PF (both p<.01). However, there was no significant difference in AbdH activity according to ankle position. Conclusion : These results suggest that selective strength measurement of the foot intrinsic muscles in HFF should be performed with the ankle in the neutral position.

This study was conducted to examine the hypoglycemic effects of complexcity extract(DB 55) from five oriental medicinal plants on the intake of food, body weight, blood glucose level, insulin content, serum GOP, GPT, BUN and hematocrit value in streptozotocin(STZ)-induced diabetic rats. General nutritional composition was also assessed. Thirty- five male Sprague-Dawley rats were assigned to five groups : normal control group(NC), STZ-diabetic control group (STZ-control), STZ-diabetic DB-1 group(DB 55-1), STZ-diabetic DB-2 group(DB 55-2) and STZ-diabetic DB-3 group(DB 55-3). The animals were fed an experimental diet for 12 weeks. Body weight gain of the STZ-diabetic group was significantly lower but diet intake was significantly higher than the NC group. Blood glucose levels of the DB-1, DB-2 and DB-3 rats were significantly lower than the STZ-control animals. Insulin level of STZ-control rats was lower than the NC serum GOT, GPT and BUN levels were significantly higher in the NC group, but hematocrit value was not significant as compare to the STZ-diabetic group. Blood glucose level was lower observed for the DB 55-1, DB 55-2 and DB 55-3 group. The results will be useful in oriental diet therapy and in the developing functional food resources.

Purpose : The purpose of this study is to report the effect of Traditional Korean Medicine(TKM) on amenorrhea which oligomenorrhea has become worse. and to investigate the change of body temperature measured by Digital Infrared Thermographic Imaging(DITI). Methods : The patient in this case was 29-year-old female. The chief complain was amenorrhea which oligomenorrhea has become worse. We treated her by TKM. and evaluated the progress of symptoms by DITI. And then We compared DITI before treatment and after treatment. Results :After TKM treatment. the differences of temperature between Indang(印堂) and the four abdominal sites(CV4,6,12,17) were decreased on DITI. respectively. Conclusion : TKM treatment is effective on amenorrhea which oligomenorrhea has become worse. And DITI could be useful to assess the amenorrhea objectively. But more research should be needed.

Purpose: This study investigated the effect of plantar-flexor muscle fatigue on the force sense and joint reposition sense of ankle joints in the healthy adults. Methods: Fifteen healthy subjects (male: 9, female: 6) participated in this study. A digital dynamometer was used to measure the force sense error while a wireless motion capture device was used to measure the joint reposition sense error. To induce plantar-flexor muscle fatigue for a dominant lower extremity, the subjects were asked to perform plantar flexion until exhaustion while barefoot. The differences in force sense error and joint reposition sense error for the ankle joint were measured immediately. The Wilcoxon test was used to compare these values before and after inducing plantar-flexor muscle fatigue. Results: The force sense error and joint reposition sense error of ankle joints after inducing plantar-flexor muscle fatigue increased significantly compared to the values before inducing muscle fatigue. Conclusion: This study suggests that plantar-flexor muscle fatigue could degrade the force sense and joint reposition sense in ankle joints. In addition, it could deteriorate ankle proprioception.
