디지털 카메라를 이용한 수치도면작성 (The Digital Drawing Production Using Digital Camera)

  • 종래에 아날로그 방식의 사진측량에서는 중복된 영상을 도화기를 통해 표정과정을 거쳐 입체모델을 생성하고 이를 바탕으로 도화과정을 수행함으로써 최종도면을 획득하였다. 그러나 이러한 과정을 소형컴퓨터를 통해 일괄처리 함으로써 처리과정의 자동화를 꾀할 수 있으며 입체 모델은 생성하지 않고 해석적인 방법을 통해 3차원 수치자료를 쉽게 획득 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 수치영상을 이용하여 3차원 위치측정이 가능한 측량시스템을 구축하여 기준점 측량작업 및 촬영조건을 획기적으로 줄임으로써 보다 효율적으로 수치도면을 제작하는데 도움을 주고자 한다. 그 결과 비교적 저가의 디지털 카메라로 사진측량이 이루어지고 컴퓨터만으로도 수치도면을 작성할 수 있다. 따라서 소규모 지역에서는 일반측량보다 경제적으로 수치 도면을 작성할 수 있으므로 시설물 관리를 위한 도면제작 등에 활용 될 수 있을 것이다.

  • 국내의 디지털 시네마 산업은 지금 급물살을 타고 있다. 디지털 시네마는 D.I(Digital Intermediate) 작업을 통한 영상의 향상, 제작비의 절감, 배급과 상영의 편의성, 이후 다른 플랫폼으로의 전환용이 등의 완연한 장점으로 국내영화산업의 토대를 바꾸고 있다. 이러한 디지털 시네마로의 빠른 전환은 대기업에 의해서 독과점으로 집중되어 운영되고 있는 한국영화산업 구조가 주요한 배경이다. 또한 최근에는 국내의 이동통신 대기업들이 네트워크와 플랫폼의 활용을 목적으로 영화산업에 적극적으로 진출 한 것도 또 다른 이유가 되고 있다. 그러나 반면에 국내의 디지털시네마 산업은 제작공정에 있어서 디지털에 대한 맹신과 남용, 데이터의 부족 과 배급에 있어서 표준화의 문제 등이 드러나고 있다. 지금은 국내의 디지털 시네마의 빠른 발전보다는 건강한 발전에 대해서 생각해보아야하는 시점이다.

  • When it comes to current growth trend for the printing process in Asia printing market, offset printing, gravure printing and screen printing are reduced respectively -4%, -19%, -55%. In judging from the fact, the change in the printing production system from mass production on small amount to small production on mass amount is the biggest issue. For this reason, digital printing shows the significant growth. According to the increase of the growth 78% for electro photography way and 67% for ink-jet, it's not enough to catch up with digital printing which is increasing as time goes by to equip with hardware like as digital press. There's been necessary to install the BOD(Book on Demand) system which is the advanced and regular publication edit solution based on web-to-print model in the prepress, and it has made the BOD system be considered in relation to maximization of efficiency and production. Therefore, this research tries to step forward from the POD concept, which is refired to "Print along with the ordered quantities, the ordered appropriate time and the demanded place", so that it could expand the range of the printing/publishing environment using the BOD system, the order-made publication based on automatically operating template. And it tried to make the relation to digital web press on ink-jet method which is adequate to "mass production on small amount" with such advanced concept. This research also aims to use actively BOD solution model to promote the productivity of labor, and then to produce the printings across all related industries, which means to manufacture maximally the products on the shortest time at minimum place through PC equipments.

뉴미디어 아트의 상호작용성을 기반한 오브제 디자인 연구 (A Study on Object Design Based on the Interaction of New Media Art)

  • 현대미술은 디지털 매체의 발달로 급격한 변화를 겪고 있다. 디지털 미디어 기반 환경에서 작가들은 관객과 예술적 가치와 경험을 공유하는 새로운 작품들을 제작하고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 첨단 디지털 기술과 오브제를 융합시킨 상호작용성에 관한 작품 제작을 하였다. 관람자가 오브제를 터치하면 오브제와 연결된 LED화면이 완성되는 작품이다. 작품 제작에 앞서 이론적 고찰을 위해 학술 논문자료, 국내외 전문서적, 인터넷 분석을 중심으로 연구하였다. 작품 제작은 아두이노를 이용하였고, 작가들이 작품 제작에 응용할 수 있도록 제작 회로와 프로그래밍 소스를 제시하였다. 본 연구는 오브제 작품의 표현에 있어 새로운 가치와 가능성을 제시하는데 의의를 둔다.

A Strategy for Production of Digital Elevation Models in Korea

  • The National Geographic Information Institute (NGII) in korea, through the National Geographic Information System (NGIS) Program, has prepared to generate and disseminate digital elevation data for Korea. This is a pilot research to propose a policy for production, maintenance, and supply of Korea Digital Elevation Data(KDED). Customer demands for accuracy and resolution of DEM was surveyed through a questionnaire. In order to investigate the quality, the technical efficiency and the production cost, a tentative DEM in a small test site was generated based on digital topographic maps (original paper map scale 1:5,000), analytical plotter, and LIDAR. The Accuracy standard for KDED was derived based on source data generation methods. As a result of this research, a uniformly spaced grid model was recommended for KDED. Its preferable grid space is 5m in urban areas and its vicinity, and 10m in field and mountainous area. LIDAR has been valuated as a proper KDED generation method fulfilling customers' demands for the accuracy.

  • 3D SCAN enables easy human body measurement via a digital method in the process of film costume production which used to be done manually. Software-oriented computer graphic, which integrates 3D SCAN data in the process of manual film costume production, can induce quick and diverse design outcomes. While, 3D PRINT, which integrates computer graphic data in the process of manual film costume production, can automate the process of special costume production using a digital method. Integration of 3D Scan + Computer Graphic + 3D Print using integrated platforms for tailored costume production as developed in this study allows significant reduction of costume production period and costs. It also allows efficient integration of costume production outcomes in various industries related with OSMU contents in particular. In other words, using it, we can create a new business market that integrates multiple areas of film content, drama content and game content.

The Change in News Video Production Environment by the Introduction of Network Production System

  • The production environment of fast and accurate news video has been continuously changing together with technology advance. Especially, the editing of the news video advanced focusing on the non-linear system by the introduction of digital technology and the recording of news video advanced to 'tapeless' base. In this new news video production environment, the recorded news videos are transmitted, edited and archived through the NPS (Network Production System), which dramatically improves the efficiency of the news video production. However, there are some issues which need to be resolved in the introduction of NPS. The purpose of this research is to identify the necessity of NPS introduction in the changing news video production environment, explore the issues which should be resolved and suggest the proper way to introduce the NPS to broadcasting companies.

  • Shipbuilding industries have been struggling to reduce production time and cost of their products in many aspects. Manufacturing systems have been changed, new production lines and robots have been installed, and new planning and scheduling systems have been adopted in order to achieve shorter time-to-market and higher productivity. Simulation based manufacturing, digital manufacturing, or virtual manufacturing simulation, whatever the name means, is an approach to achieve such a goal. In order to improve productivity in a shipbuilding process at a shipyard, a digital shipyard development has been driven. This paper proposed how to implement the digital shipyard, what to do with it, and what to obtain from it. This digital shipyard will help simulate and optimize the entire shipbuilding life cycle with its virtual environment through shipbuilding process from the initial development stage to the launch.

  • Data mining is the process of autonomously extracting useful information or knowledge from large data stores or sets. For analyzing data of manufacturing processes obtained from database using data mining, source data should be collected form production process and transformed to appropriate form. To extract those data from database, a computer program should be made for each database. This paper presents a program to extract easily data form database in industry. The advantage of this program is that user can extract data from all types of database and database table and interface with Teamcenter Manufacturing.

  • In these days, production and management of various digital contents increased because of growing internet users. Now the digital contents production system is producing video which is based on keywords and contents. This paper proposes the sensibility-based contents management system which can analyze and manage contents of video production system. Due to the sensibility-based multimedia contents management system, it is possible to analyze and manage sensibility contents what users want. As a result, by building a database, we can provide intelligent and meaningful services. In addition, contrary to low grade's contents-based production system, we can cope actively with users' demands.
