  • The purpose of this study is to investigate what factors buyers buy in smart band purchasing. Especially, The study was conducted the perception of smart bands, focusing on personal healthcare, which is one of the biggest concern of today's people, and investigating the needs of users. SmartBand is the product with the highest market share in the wearable device market. It is an indicator of how much modern people are interested in their healthcare. Therefore, this study investigates non-users who are not currently using smart bands, and what factors to consider when buying smart bands. As a result, it was found that the design of the product and the hardware performance are more important than the smart band's personal health care function in purchasing the smart band, and fundamentally, the smart band itself was not needed. Especially, people aged 20-30 years have been burdened with using smart bands continuously.

  • Image availability evaluated by the degree of agreement and sensitive using the process improve visualization according to the Algorithm modification in Image Post-Processing. Reliability measured by the Breast Imaging Reporting and Data System. 172 patients visit same period divided by BI-RADS, category five stages, and contents of breast parenchyma into Calcification, Nodule and Mass. Evaluated the TE/PV image reliability, visualization sensitive, agreement of diagnosis. Convergence analysis was an in various fields. According to the result of this research, PV has higher sensitive and accuracy about lesions than TE visual and there is a difference insensitive by contents of breast parenchyma. Therefore, practical use of Algorithm Modification(Tissue Equalization: TE, Premium View: PV) is expected to improve more accurate, useful diagnosis, which has not been easy until now.

  • This study is to conceptualize nurses' satisfaction, patient satisfaction about nurses and hospital, and patients' revisit and recommendation intention as linear structural equation model, and then, identify the significance of the path coefficient and goodness of the research model. Data were collected from 2,079 nurses and 6,776 patients in 5 university hospitals. The results were as follows: The research model was generally found to be good in terms of goodness of fit. The significance of the path coefficients are as follows. 1)A nurse's satisfaction has great influence on a patient's satisfaction about nurses, 2)A patient's satisfaction about nurses has influence on patient's satisfaction about the hospital, 3)A patient's satisfaction about the hospital has great influence on patient's revisit intention, 4)A patient's satisfaction about the hospital has great influence on patient's recommendation intention. These results will provide basic data for the hospital managers practicing customer satisfaction strategies in their health care marketing.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between caregivng stress and depression of the caregiver. The data was collected through by a survey on to married adults who are responsible for the care of old parents. The survey(by purposive sampling) was conducted over the course of for the three months duration from Jan. to Feb. 2014. A total of Finally, 307 copies of the questionnaire retrieved were used for analysis. First, in the case of women, those in their 50s or over, and in the all both gender cases, those who live in rural area, and those who perceive their economic levels as 'low' tend to have higher caregivng stress than other kinds of groups. Second, those who do not have spouses, and those who perceive their economic levels as 'low' tend to have higher depression than other kinds of groups, and those who hold the whole responsibility of caring old parents had a severe high depression. Third, it was found that the greater higher the caregivng stress of caregivers get, the more serious higher their stresses become get.

  • This study was carried out to investigate the mediating role of parental satisfaction on the relationship between work-mother role conflict and parenting stress of employed mothers. Participants were 515 mothers of children aged 2 to 5 recruited from companies in Gyeonggi Province, Korea. Survey was conducted from February 15 to March 20, 2013. Structural equation modeling was used to examine direct and indirect effects among study variables. As a result, work-mother role conflict and parental satisfaction directly influenced parenting stress. Work-mother role conflict directly influenced parental satisfaction. The indirect effect of work-mother role conflict, with parental satisfaction as a mediator was verified on parenting stress. Therefore, to relieve the parenting stress of employed mothers, diverse programs to improve parental satisfaction need to be utilized along with decreasing work-mother role conflict through the settlement of child care policy.

  • The quality control items of mammography devices in South Korea do not include the linearity, which is required by international standards. The linearity is a requirement for the adjustment of radiation dose and radiation quality. This study tested the linearity, which was suitable for the IEC 60601-2-45 standard, of the 5 mammography devices. All showed adequate results. Consistent measurement management is required for more developed quality control in the future.

  • Recently, there is a new trend about internet of things (IoT) such as shops with smart mirror around the fashion and beauty industry. Since smart mirror can display a content through a monitor which is attached to back of mirror system while looking through a mirror, it can be applied to various industries such as fashion, beauty and health care. This paper proposes an efficient learning system requiring no assistance from others for the hearing deaf who atrophy verbal skill and are inaccurate in pronunciation by using features of smart mirror. Also, this system proposes an efficient and simple lip reading method which can be applied to an embedded system and improves a learning efficiency by employing previously verified pronunciation training data.

  • The general public's interest in dementia has increased recently as dementia has become a social issue due to its rapid aging. Several dementia prevention and rehabilitation programs are being carried out at the dementia rehabilitation center and at the old welfare center depending on the number of dementia patients. In this paper, a 3 dimensional finger and motion search of the leap motion is utilized and combined with dementia preventive and cognitive rehabilitation programs at various facilities. We suggest technologies that can provide both fun and effective treatment and rehabilitation content for rehabilitation therapists. A variety of cognitive enhancement content is designed using finger tracking and configured to be recorded in the database for rehabilitation programmes to increase the effectiveness of management.

  • This study is aimed at understanding the factors affecting rehospitalization of a tuberculosis patient. In a public hospital with a tuberculosis ward in Seoul, the data of 360 patients who discharged the hospital from July 1, 2012 to December 31, 2012. Data was selected from 'nursing information survey' or 'discharge analysis DB' of the department of medical records. The possibility of rehospitalization was higher in the group with those who has no job, those with medical care assistant than with health insurance, drinks about 10 times a month, personally came to the hospital, main guardian is the patient's spouse, have discharged from hospital against the doctor's advise, and principle diagnosis is not a pulmonary tuberculosis but the other respiratory disease. Therefore, it is expected that the possibility of rehospitalization would be effectively reduced if an intensive intervention is taken on the first hospitalized patients who have the features described above.
