포물선형 완경사 방정식에 의한 회절현상의 수치해석 (Numerical Analysis of Diffraction Using Parabolic Mild-Slope Equation)

  • 나날이 해안의 개발이 증대되어지고 있는 시점에, 안전한 항만 구조물의 설치와 그와 관련된 설비의 중요성이 증폭되고 있다. 특히 항내의 안전을 위해서 방파제의 건설이 필요한데 이에 따른 파의 회절현상을 이해함으로써 항내에서의 파고 등을 예측하는데 도움이 되리라 생각한다. 파의 변형을 예측하기 위해서는 수치적인 방법인 FDM을 사용하여 포물선형 완경사방정식을 차분함으로써 해를 얻을 수 있었고, 적용대상으로서 개구부가 있는 방파제와 반무한방파제를 선정 하였다. 각각 파의 입사각을 $0^{\circ},\;30^{\circ},\;60^{\circ}$로 하여 이 후 파의 변형을 예측하였고, 이의 Diffraction Coefficient와 Amplitude 결과를 도시한 후 Penny와 Price의 해 및 Memos의 해와 비교하였다.

  • In this paper, we consider the effect of diffraction due to the finite-sized aperture and propose the new correction method of errors in measurements of attenuation coefficient owing to the diffraction effect. In the existing correction method, we obtained the attenuation coefficient after correct the spectrum at each depth. However, this paper obtain the attenuation coefficient using lg-spectral difference approach and then correct errors. As a proposed method is not correction for the spectrum at each depth but the difference spectrum, we reduce the calculation. Also the correction is performed through the total frequency range, the accurate attenuation coefficient in whole bandwidth is produced.

  • The insertion loss of a noise barrier comes from the effects of diffraction, transmission loss, absorption coefficient and attenuation by direct propagation. The noise level after the noise barrier, differs reatly from the diffraction on the upper part of the barrier. Maekawa, furze and Anderson presented a empirical formula for calculating the diffraction of a semi infinte screen shaped noise barrier. In this syudy, Noise reduction performance software was developed for the proper design and assessment of new plastic barrier . Predicted sound pressure level from using the software is compared with the site-measurement results to verify the noise reduction performance and feasibility of prediction software for insertion loss of noise barrier.

  • 단일 및 2개의 연직 불투과성 구조물이 해역에 설치되어 있는 경우 파랑의 회절 및 상호간섭 효과를 일정요소를 사용한 경계요소법에 의해 수치 해석하였다. 파랑은 2차원 선형 회절파 이론으로부터 해석하였으며 구조물 경계상에서 뿐만 아니라 구조물 주위에서의 회절계수를 계산하였다. 본 계산의 신뢰도를 검증하기 위하여 기존의 해석결과와 비교하였으며 대체로 잘 일치하고 있음을 알 수가 있었다.

Effect of the Photosensitizer on the Photo refractive Effect Using a Low $T_g$ Sol-Gel Glass

  • We prepared the photorefractive sol-gel glass based on organic-inorganic hybrid materials containing a charge transporting molecule, second-order nonlinear optical (NLO) chromophore, photosensitizer, and plasticizer. Carbazole and 2-{ 4-[(2-hydroxy-ethyl)-methyl-amino]-benzylidene}-malononitrile were reacted with isocyanato-triethoxy silane and the functionalized silanes were employed to fabricate the efficient photorefractive media induding 2,4,7-trinitrot1uorenone (TNF) to form a charge transfer complex. The prepared sol-gel glass samples showed a large net gain coefficient and high diffraction efficiency at a certain composition. As the concentration of photosensitizer increased, the photorefractive properties were enhanced due to an increment of charge carrier density. Dynamic behavior of the diffraction efficiency was also investigated with the concentration of the photosensitizer.

  • 열 증착 방법을 이용하여 copper(II)-phthalocyanine(CuPc) 박막을 glass 기판 위에 제작하였다. 열처리 조건은 $150^{\circ}C$에서 후열(annealing) 처리 하는 방식과 예열하는 두 가지 방식으로 달리하였다. 제작된 박막의 전기전도도를 평가하기 위해 마이크로웨이브 근접장 효과를 이용한 근접장 현미경(near-field scanning microwave microscope)을 이용하여 비파괴적인 방식으로 CuPc 박막의 반사계수(reflection coefficient)를 측정하였다. CuPc 박막의 전기전도도 특성을 UV 흡수도를 통한 에너지 밴드갭의 shift 현상과 관련지어 설명하고 또한 x-ray diffraction(XRD) data를 통해 박막의 결정 특성과 비교하였다. 박막 표면 특성은 SEM(scanning microscope microscopy)을 통해 관측하였다. 열처리 조건에 따른 CuPc 박막의 전기전도도 특성은 후열 처리한 박막의 경우 예열 처리한 박막보다 전기 전도 특성이 향상되었음을 관측할 수 있었다.

Dynamic Behavior Assessment of OC4 Semi-submersible FOWT Platform Through Morison Equation

  • This paper proposes an effective inertia coefficient (EIC) in the Morison equation for better wave-force calculations. The OC4 semi-submersible floating offshore wind turbine (FOWT) platform was considered to test the feasibility. Large diffraction at large Keulegan-Carpenter (KC) numbers and the interaction between columns can result in errors in estimating the wave force using the Morison equation with a theoretical inertia coefficient, which can be corrected by the EIC as a function of the wave period and direction. The horizontal and vertical wave forces were calculated using the Morison equation and potential theory at each column, wave period, and wave direction. The EICs of each column were then obtained, resulting in a minimal difference between the Morison inertia force and the wave excitation force by the potential theory. The EICs, wave forces, phase angles, and dynamic motions were compared to confirm the feasibility of an EIC concept under regular and random waves.

  • 본 논문에서는 Fe가 0.015Wt.%도핑된 LiNbO₃ 결정에서 2광파혼합(TWM:Two-Wave Mixing)을 통한 입사각에 따른 결합계수, 기록빔의 세기비에 따른 이득, 회절효율, 시간응답특성에 대한 해석 및 실험을 통해 고밀도 광메모리 소자로서 응용하기 위한 특성을 제시한다. 실험결과 514.5nm 파장에서 본 결정의 경우 14°에서 최대 결합특성을 보였고 이때의 최대결합계수는 6.9cm/sup -1/이다. 그리고, 632.8nm 파장의 빔으로 판독시 두 결합빔의 세기비가 0.1이고, 입사각이 140 일 때, 54.13%의 최대 회절효율을 얻었으며, 격자고정시 회절효율은 21.4% 이다. 또한, Fe-LiNbO₃ 결정을 높은 회절효율을 갖는 광메모리 소자로 적용하기 위해 가장 우수한 회절특성을 보이는 조건에서 각도 다중화 방식과 공간 광학 변조기를 이용한 광정보 저장응용실험 결과를 제시하였다.

전자빔 증착으로 제조한 $CuInS_2$ 박막의 구조적 및 광학적 특성 (Structural and optical properties of $CuInS_2$ thin films fabricated by electron-beam evaporation)

  • Single phase $CuInS_2$ thin film with the highest diffraction peak (112) at diffraction angle $(2\theta)$ of $27.7^{\circ}$ and the second highest diffraction peak (220) at diffraction angle $(2\theta)$ of $46.25^{\circ}$ was well made with chalcopyrite structure at substrate temperature of $70^{\circ}C$, annealing temperature of $250^{\circ}C$, annealing time of 60 min. The $CuInS_2$ thin film had the greatest grain size of $1.2{\mu}m$ and Cu/In composition ratio of 1.03. Lattice constant of a and c of that $CuInS_2$ thin film was 5.60 A and 11.12 A respectively. Single phase $CuInS_2$ thin films were accepted from Cu/In composition ratio of 0.84 to 1.3. P-type $CuInS_2$ thin films were appeared at over Cu/In composition ratio of 0.99. Under Cu/In composition ratio of 0.96, conduction types of $CuInS_2$ thin films were n-type. Also, fundamental absorption wavelength, the absorption coefficient and optical energy band gap of p-type $CuInS_2$ thin film with Cu/In composition ratio of 1.3 was 837 nm, $3.0{\times}104cm^{-1}$ and 1.48 eV respectively. When Cu/In composition ratio was 0.84, fundamental absorption wavelength, the absorption coefficient and optical energy band gap of n-type $CuInS_2$ thin film was 821 nm, $6.0{\times}10^4cm^{-1}$ and 1.51 eV respectively.
