  • As PB market segments into premium market, PBs were drawing attentions in terms of creating profits as well as a means to differentiate building up store identity. The purpose of this study makes a comparative study on the difference of consumer attitude formation process in discount store and home-shopping distribution channel which are recently on the upswing. This paper investigated the consumer's attitude formation on the private apparel brand. Subjects of this study were consumers in their $20s{\sim}40s$ who are main customer groups of PBs. The data were analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling and Multi-Group Analysis of Amos 5.0 to verify the difference of the path between store PB and premium PB. Following are the results of the study. Consumer attitude formation path on PB grades showed statistically noticeable difference. In discount store PB, store evaluation didn't directly influence on consumer attitude formation but showed indirect effect. On the other hand, in home shopping premium PB case, product evaluation directly influenced on consumer attitudes with store evaluation. Hedonic attitude dimension connected with behavioral attitude(purchase intention) revealed difference in path. Also consumer's evaluation on variables in model turned out to be different according to brand grade.

  • Although a generation-related difference in nutrient and food-group intake has been broadly recognized in the Japanese population, few studies have examined the difference and correlation of intakes with consideration of a family line and co-habitation status. We conducted a dietary survey using female college students in dietetic course in Aichi, Japan, and their mothers and grandmothers. A validated self-administered diet history questionnaire was used for assessment of intakes. Data from 110 families were included in the analysis. The means of 13 nutrients and 10 food groups (of the 15 and 14, respectively) showed significant differences among the three generations. A significant difference was observed in the carbohydrate, protein, saturated fatty acid, cholesterol, and fish intakes between the students living with their mothers and those apart. In the correlation analyses between generations, moderate correlation was observed for most nutrients and food groups between the students and their mothers living together (correlation range = 0.30-0.61 for nutrients, and = 0.21 -0.56 for food groups). A wide variation with no consistency was observed for the correlation between the students and their grandmothers (-0.18 -0.59 and -0.33 -0.65, respectively), No meaningful correlation was observed between any two generations living apart. Among the food groups examined, pulses, fish, and vegetables showed relatively large differences for the correlation between two groups with different living conditions. When living together, the correlation coefficients for nutrients and food groups between the students and their mothers decreased according to the increase in frequency of eating out by the students. These results suggest that living together and eating together were an important factor for the resemblance in dietary habits between generations in the population with a marked generation-related difference in intakes. • The purpose of this study is to clarify the difference between the scoring results by scorer(doctors and standardization patients) and examination dates. A total of 101 students in the fourth grade of medical school participated in four clinical practice test. Students were randomly assigned to either day-1 or day-2, which was consisted of a standardized patient scoring set or a physician scoring set. Station checklists consisted of history taking, physical examination, patient education, physician-patient relationship and clinical courtesy. The achievement scores of each case and each domain were converted to the standard score, and the differences between groups were compared. Female students' achievement scores were significantly higher than male students' achievement scores in all domains. There was no significant difference between means by the standardized patients' group and doctors group. Day-2 group was significantly higher than day-1 group in both of history taking and physical examination domains. If the principles of checklist are clearly defined, the scorer status (either physician or standardized patients) does not determine the difference of students' practice test scores.

  • MLAT which is an independent cooperative surveillance system is applied to increase the positon resoultin of secondary survelliance radar. MLAT uses the hyperboic or hyperboloid position mesurement algorithm. Central processing unit of MLAT calculates target position using time difference of arrival (TDOA) which can be solved from time of arrival (TOA) information of each receivers (at least 4 receivers). To increase position resolution of MLAT which use TDOA, TOA which is transfer time from tranmitter to receiver shold be calculated with precision time resolution in receiver. This paper explained the MLAT system briefly and explained ATD which is one of means of calcuating pulse position. ATD is applied to solve the deviation of pulse position due to different amplitude of signals in mulitiple receivers. In this paper, to analysis the performance of ATD, the simulation result of LAS and CDS was compared with the simulation result of basic threshold method.

  • A feeding trial was carried out effect of supplemental Lactobacillus on productivity, egg quality and intestinal microflora in 320 21 weeks - old laying hens for 12 week. Supplemented Lactobacillus strains were Lactobacillus amylovorus LLA7(LA), Lactobacillus crispatus LLA9(LC) and Lactobacillus vaginalis LLA11(LV). Three strains mixed to basal diet which containing 2,800㎉/kg ME, 16% CP with none, LA, LC, LV, LA+LC, LA+LV, LC+LV and LC+LC+LV. Supplemental level was 10(sup)7 cfu/g diet. Egg production was tended to increase with adding Lactobacilus, but not difference significantly. Average egg weight was heavier in adding Lactobacillrs compared to the none, and heaviest in LA+LV, LC+LV(P〈0.05). In periodic observation, the gap of egg weight with adding Lactobacillus or not was severe persisting laying periods. The diet containg MC or LV was better than LA, which means the difference by Lactobacillus strains for egg weight. Daily egg mass also increased in adding Lactobacillus about 1.1 to 2.3 g/hen, but not difference significantly. Feed intake and feed conversion were not difference regardless Lactobacillus strains and laying periods. Haugh unit improved with adding Lactobacillus. Cecal Lactobacillus spp. was increased with adding Lactobacillus(P〈0.05), didn't observed E. coli depression. In summary, supplemental Lactobacillus could improve for egg production, egg weight, egg mass and egg white. And those of effect expect much beneficial with mixing Lactobacillus which established well as single strain.

  • The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the preferences for three home economics curriculum Models(Concept-based curriculum Model, Competency-based curriculum Model, and Practical Problem-based curriculum Model) of Korean home economics(HE) teachers and HE teacher educators, (2) to determine the difference between HE teachers and HE teacher educators according to purposes of HE, focus of learning, organization of HE subject matter, focus of HE curriculum, focus of HE content, HE knowledge, main questions addressed through HE curriculum, teaching strategies, students’progress, and systems of action, and (3) to determine the relationships between preferences for three curriculum Models and personal and professional characteristics of HE teachers. Respondents in this study were 225 HE teachers and 35 HE teacher educators. The survey method was used in this descriptive study. The survey method was used in this descriptive study. The overall curriculum Model preference of each teacher respondent was determined by counting number of times a given Model among 10 identified variables. The data were analyzed by using Chi-square to compare the differences between the two groups. To determine the relationships between preferences for three curriculum Models and personal and professional characteristics of HE teachers, coefficient of contingency tables was used. Both of HE teacher group(79.4%) and HE teacher educator group(67.6%) preferred the practical problem-based curriculum Model the most. There was a difference between the two groups on preferences for the curriculum Models related to systems of action. No significant difference emerged when Chi-square was applied to determine difference between the two groups on overall preferences for three HE curriculum Model. The chi square values between preferences for three curriculum Model and level of school, type of school were statistically significant. Each contingency coefficient for level of school(middle school and high school) and form of school(private and public school) was 27, which means there is a low association between the preferences and level of school and the preferences and form of school.
