이온 교환수지를 이용한 우라늄(VI) 이온의 흡착에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Adsorption of Uranium(VI) Ion Using Ion Exchange Resin)

  • Several new ion exchange resins have been synthesized from chloromethyl styrene-1,4-divinylbenzine with 1%, 2%, 5% and 105-crosslink and macrocyclic ligands of cryptand type by interpolymerization method. The adsorption characteristics and the pH, time, solvents and concentration dependence of the adsorption of uranium ion by this resins were studied. The resins were very stable in both acidic and basic media and have good resistance to heat at $300^{\circ}C$. The uranium ion are not adsorbed on the resins below pH 3.0, but the power of adsorption of it increased rapidly above pH 4.0. The optimum equilibrium time for adsorption of uranium ion was two hours and adsorptive power decreased in proportion to crosslink size of the resins and order of dielectric constants of solvents used and the adsorption for uranium ion was bin the order of $OdienNtn-H_4$ > $OtnNen-H_4$ > $OtnNen-H_4$ > $OenNen-H_4$.

  • A mechanism for formation of surface reoxidation layer in Surface Boundary Layer Capacitor (SBLC) has been studied. SBLC were prepared by reduction of $BaTiO_3$ doped with $Bi_2O_3$ and electrode firing of silver paste containing $Bi_2O_3$ The apparent dielectric constant was in the order of $10^5$ and the insulation resistance larger than $10^6$$\Omega$ It can be expected that $Bi_2O_3$ dopant in $BaTiO_3$ plays the role of inhibition of grain growth and decreasing the resistivity of $BaTiO_3$. In order to confirm the process of surface reoxidation layer effects of atmosphere and annealing time in electrode sintering were investigated.

  • In this paper, the technology for accelerating degradation & life estimation on the traction motor was introduced with the stator form-winding sample coils of the 200 Class insulation system The accelerative degradation was performed in 10 cycles, which were composed of thermal stress, fast rising surge voltage, vibration, water immersion and overvoltage applying. After aging of 10 cycles, condition diagnosis test such as insulation resistance & polarization index, capacitance & dielectric loss and partial discharge properties were investigated in the temperature range of $20{\sim}160^{\circ}C$. Relationship between degradation conditions and diagnosis results were analyzed to find an dominative degradation factor at the end-life point

이축 연신 풀리프로필렌 필름의 전도특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Conduction Characteristics of Oriented Polypropylene Film)

  • In order to investigate the conduction characteistics of the biaxially oriented polypropylene film, several measurements have been carried out in the range of temperature between 5['c] and 25['c] as well as the field intensity between 10[MV/m] and 300[MV/m]. The whole range of the characteristics observed at 15['c] appears to be divided into five regions` the Ohmic conduction region due to ionic carrier below 40[MV/m], the region from 40[MV/m] to 70[MV/m] in which the conduction mechanism is attributed to Poole-Frenkel effect, the region from 70[MV/m] to 82[MV/m] in which the negative resistance characteristics are observed, then the region from 82[MV/m] which is dominated by Schottky effect and finally, the region from 240[MV/m] up to the point where dielectric breakdown occurs in which the mechanism is based on Flowler-Nordheim theory.

가교폴리에틸렌의 촉진 내후성 (Accelerated Weathering Behavior of XLPE)

  • 전기절연체로 사용되는 가교폴리에틸렌(XLPE)의 내후성에 미치는 산화방지제(Antioxidant)와 카본블랙의 효과를 살펴 보았다. 산화방지제와 카본블랙을 조합하여 16가지의 시료를 제작하고 xenon-arc lamp type의 Weather-Ometer로 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 시간 촉진열화시켰을 때 촉진열화 각 시간대별로 열화거동을 관찰하였다. 인장강도, 신장율, 절연파괴전압, tan ${\delta}$로 XLPE의 내후성을 평가한 결과, 산화방지제보다는 카본블랙이 더 효과적이었고 두 첨가제를 조합해서 사용할 때 내후성이 우수한 synergistic effect를 나타냈다.

Antireflective ZTO/Ag bilayer-based transparent source and drain electrodes for highly transparent thin film transistors

  • We reported on antireflective ZnSnO (ZTO)/Ag bilayer and ZTO/Ag/ZTO trilayer source/drain (S/D) electrodes for all-transparent ZTO channel based thin film transistors (TFTs). The ZTO/Ag bilayer is more transparent (83.71%) and effective source/drain (S/D) electrodes for the ZTO channel/Al2O3 gate dielectric/ITO gate electrode/glass structure than ZTO/Ag/ZTO trilayer because the bottom ZTO layer in the trilayer increasea contact resistance between S/D electrodes and ZTO channel layer and reduce the antireflection effect. The ZTO based all-transparent TFTs with ZTO/Ag bilayer S/D electrode showed a saturation mobility of 4.54cm2/Vs and switching property (1.31V/decade) comparable to TTFT with Ag S/D electrodes.

  • It is expected that the impurities contained in a solid state insulation material will affect a considerable influence on its break-down voltage, dielectric loss, and insulation resistance. In this thesis, as a preliminary experimental research for the investigation described above, the effect of metalic barrier between the electrodes on the creepin flash over discharge voltage along the surface of a solid insulation material has been investigated, and got some interesting results. It was found that generaly the flash over voltage rises when a metalic barrier is located between the electrodes. The results of this investigation will be taken into account as an important components on the insulation design to prevent the creeping flash over discharge in insulators, bushings, and so on.

  • In this paper, sample coils for stator form-wound winding of traction motor were made for the accelerative thermal degradation composed of heat, vibration, moisture and overvoltage. In progress of test periods, diagnosis tests such as insulation resistance, dielectric loss and partial discharge were investigated. Reliability and expected life were evaluated on the insulation system for 200 class traction motor considering various environmental stress.

  • Insulation layers in XLPE power cables may have some patterns generated in the manufacturing process. They are called 'flow patterns' and show flow history of molten polyethylene between inner and outer semiconducting layers. Flow patterns are even seen with naked human eyes and suspected to be inhomogeniety of insulation, weakening insulation performance. Investigated in this paper is electrical treeing resistance and ac breakdown strength according to flow patterns. Experiments of electrical treeing and ac breakdown strength by means of ramp tests were conducted using newly developed electrode system with point-to-plane structure and sphere-to-sphere structure, respectively. All results were analyzed with the application of statistics, showing little differences.

  • The resistance-capacitance (RC) delay of signals through interconnection materials becomes a big hurdle for high speed operation of semiconductors which contain multilayer interconnection layers. In order to reduce the RC delay, low-k materials will be used for inter-metal dielectric (IMD) materials. We have developed self-consistent simulation tool that includes neutral-species transport model, based on the relaxation continuum (RCT) model. We present the parametric study of the modeling results of a two-frequency capacitively coupled plasma (2f-CCP) with $N_2/H_2$ gas mixture that is known as promising one for organic low-k materials etching. We include the neutral transport model as well as plasma one in the calculation. The plasma and neutrals are calculated self-consistently by iterating the simulation of both species till a spatiotemporal steady state profile could be obtained.
