이차전지 원료 해쇄용 Grinding Disc Assembly 품질 시험에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quality Test of Grinding Disk Assembly for Crushing Material in Secondary Battery)

  • Currently, fossil resources are depleting rapidly. We are looking for energy to replace fossil fuels. They are trying to use electricity to replace internal combustion locomotives. Secondary battery raw materials and chemical additives are pulverized by the high-speed rotation of the grinding disc of the Classifier Separator Mill. Grinding Disc Assembly requires characteristics to withstand abrasion, corrosion, high-speed rotational force and impact. Domestic and foreign grinding discs were analyzed through abrasion resistance, hardness, bending strength, and tensile adhesion strength tests.

  • In the sand casting process, the flow of liquid metal affects the quality of casting products and their die life. To determine the optimal bush part design process, this study performed various analyses using commercial finite element analysis S/W. The simulation focused on the molten metal behaviors during the mold filling and solidification stages of sand casting. This study aims to develop methods to reduce the cost and increase the tool life of the continuous hot zinc plating roll.

사각 컵 배터리 케이스 바닥 벤트 성형을 위한 단조 금형 설계 (Forging Die Design for Vent Forming of Square Cup Battery Case)

  • 최근 자동차 산업에서 전기 모터 연료 전지에 대한 수요가 급증했으며, 연료 전지 케이스로 사용되는 사각형 알루미늄 캔에 대한 수요 또한 증가하고 있다. 직사각형 배터리 케이스의 바닥에 있는 에어 벤트는 비정상적으로 높은 압력이 발생할 때 미리 압력을 방출하여 큰 폭발을 방지하는 역할을 한다. 직사각형 컵 배터리 케이스는 6 단계의 다단계 딥 드로잉으로 외형을 만들고 직사각형 배터리 케이스와 용접하여 벤트 부품을 제작해왔다. 그러나 본 연구에서는 직사각형 케이스의 바닥면에 공기 벤트 형상을 직접 추가 하는 연구를 수행하였다. 단조의 초기 형상으로는 사각 컵 다단식 딥 드로잉 성형 해석에서 추출한 두께와 형상을 이용한 유한 요소 해석 기법을 사용 하였다. 그 결과, 예측 정밀도가 향상되고, 배부름 및 파단 등의 결함을 미리 예측할 수 있었다. 초기 분석 결과를 토대로 두 가지 단조 형상이 후보로 제시되었고 성형 해석을 통해 최적의 단조 형상을 결정 하였다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 금형을 제작하고 실제 결과와 분석 결과를 비교하여 본 연구의 타당성을 검증하였다.

전자석 그리퍼를 이용한 기와 받침틀 이송 자동화 장비 개발에 관한 연구 (A study on the development of an automated device for the transportation of roof tiles using electromagnetic grippers)

  • This study aims to enhance the price and quality competitiveness of imported tiles by developing a robotic tile production automation line. The development process involved several steps, such as requirement analysis, derivation of technical specifications, conceptual design, engineering feasibility review, detailed design, and production. Emphasis was placed on the transfer process of the tiles' molds, and technological advancements were achieved through engineering interpretation, feasibility review, and performance evaluation. The developed automation system incorporates key specifications to ensure a transfer success rate of over 90%, thereby ensuring stable transportation of the tiles and minimizing defect rates during production. The maximum weight capacity for tile pick-up was set above 6 kg, allowing effective handling of tiles weighing 6 kg or less in automated tasks. Furthermore, the system enables safe and precise movement of the tiles to the desired location, with a transfer distance of at least 1.3 m and a transfer speed exceeding 0.2 m/sec, thereby increasing production efficiency.

공공장소에서의 전기 자동차 충전기 디자인 콘셉트 제안 (Proposed concept design for electric vehicle charger in public places)

  • Recently, electric vehicles are gaining popularity among many domestic and foreign users due to their eco-friendly advantages of reducing fine dust and environmental greenhouse gases. As the demand and supply of electric vehicles increase, the demand for electric vehicle charging infrastructure is also growing together. Many users are experiencing inconvenience due to poor charging infrastructure, which makes them hesitant to buy electric vehicles. Research on the user experience of chargers in apartment complexes, a common residential type in Korea, is being conducted somewhat, but research on the design of electric vehicle charging devices in public places is insufficient. The purpose of this research is to identify user requirements and complaints based on the product design of the electric vehicle charger in public places and propose a new electric vehicle product design concept that meets the requirements. The research method understood the charging base and status of electric vehicles in public places through literature research and examined and analyzed the characteristics and problems of product design cases that improved the charging problem of electric vehicles recently released in the market. It is intended to identify and analyze the problems of the charging device product design through user interviews, a qualitative research method, and based on this, it is intended to propose a user-centered product design concept that improves major complaints.

허브클러치 제품의 피어싱 펀치 및 금형 형상 최적화를 위한 수치접근법 (Numerical Approach to Optimize Piercing Punch and Die Shape in Hub Clutch Product)

  • 오버드라이버 허브클러치는 자동차 6단 자동 변속기 미션에 장착되어 엔진의 여유출력을 이용해 연료사용을 절감시켜주는 부품이다. 본 연구에서는 오버드라이버 허브클러치 제품에 대해 피어싱 공정 중 펀치에 가해지는 하중 및 소재 처짐량을 최소화 하고자 한다. 공정 중 펀치의 하중과 처짐량에 영향을 줄 수 있는 다이 클리어런스(die clearance)와 전단각도(shear angle) 그리고 마찰계수(friction coefficient)를 설계 변수로 설정했다. 또한 펀치의 하중과 소재 처짐량에 대해 각 설계 변수들의 영향도를 확인하기 위해 민감도 분석(sensitivity analysis)을 진행했다. 그 결과 전단 각도, 마찰 계수, 다이 클리어런스 순으로 하중 및 처짐량에 대해 민감한 것으로 조사되었다. 이를 통해 펀치의 하중과 소재 처짐량을 목적함수로 설정하고, 반응표면법(Response Surface Method)을 통해 각 설계 변수들과 목적함수의 방정식을 도출했다. 이를 통해 설정된 설계 변수들의 최적 값을 도출해 유한요소해석에 적용한 결과 펀치의 하중 및 소재의 처짐량이 기존대비 22.14% 개선됐다.

의사 솔리드 모델의 절단 및 불리안 작업 개발 (Development the Boolean and Sectioning Operations on Pseudo-Solid Model)

  • This paper describes the Boolean and sectioning operations on pseudo-solid models. A pseudo-solid model is defined as a sheet body that looks like a solid model but cannot comprise a solid model due to tolerance. Most of CAD models imported from the other CAD system are pseudo-solid models and have to be repaired for further stolid modeling operations. However, healing a pseudo-solid model is a very tedious and cumbersome process. To solve this problem, we devised and implemented the Boolean and sectioning operations on pseudo-solid models. Using these operations, mold and die design can be performed more efficiently, as healing work is reduced greatly.

  • Feed drive systems are used to position the machine tool components carrying the cutting tool and workpiece to the desired location. Hence, their positioning accuracy and speed determine the quality and productivity of machine tools. In this paper, technical trend of machine tools feed drive systems are analyzed by patent mapping. And this paper suggested future development direction of feed drive systems. The analysis is carried out by using problem solution map (PSM) for the applied patent during January 2000 and December 2009 in Korea, Japan, EU and U.S.A.

고속 금형가공센터 구조물의 강성평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Static and Dynamic Stiffness Evaluation of a High Speed Mold/Die Machining Center Structure)

  • An experimental modal analysis and dynamic stiffness evaluation of a moving body structure of a high speed machining center are presented in this paper. The natural frequencies and corresponding modes, and dynamic compliance of a moving body structure of high speed machining center are investigated by using F.E.M., hydraulic exciter test, and impulse hammer test. The lowest three natural frequencies were found to be 56.6 Hz, 112.7 Hz, and 142.7 Hz by FEA respectively, while those were 55 Hz, 112 Hz, 131 Hz by experimental analysis. Furthermore, both computed and measured absolute dynamic compliances of the moving body structure in iso-direction showed good agreement especially at the first two mode frequencies. With our experimental data, the dynamic characteristics of the machining center can be exploited to get a new development of structural dynamic design and modification.

  • The first thing in developing injection molding and extrusion with microcellular foaming process is to get a grip on one phase state's rheology of gas and polymer solution. Understanding rheology is essential to design mold or die. and it is so important to control the condition of process. Also, this data is got the utmost out of simulation carrying out. In this paper, we will see the measurement of rheology in one phase that mixed polypropylene which contains talc with carbon dioxide of super critical fluid state, and will compare its result with the simulation result.
