The Development of Classification System of Medical Procedures in Korea (한국표준의료행위 분류체계 개발)

  • In recent years, the Korean Medical Association has undertaken the feat of establishing the Korean Standard Terminology of Medical Procedures with the dedicated help of 32 medical academic societies. However, because the project is being conducted by several different circles, it has yet to see a clear system of classification. This thesis, therefore, proposes the three principles of scientific properties, usefulness and ideology as the basis for classification system and has developed the Classification System of Medical Procedures in Korea upon their foundation. The methodology and organization of this thesis as follows. First, by adopting scientific classification system of Feinstein(1988), an analysis of the classification systems of the medical procedures in the United States, Japan, Taiwan, WHO was carried out to reveal the framework and the basic principles in each system. Second, the direction of classification system has been constructed by applying the normative principle of medical field in order to show the future direction of the medical field and realize its ideology. Third, a finalized framework for the classification system will be presented as based on the direction of classification system. Of the three basis principles mentioned above, the analysis on the principles of usefulness was left out of this thesis due to the difficulty of establishing specific standards of analysis. The results of the study are as follows. The overall structure of the thesis is aimed at showing the 'Prevention-Therapy-Rehabilitation' quality of comprehensive health care and consists of six chapters; I. Prevention and Health Promotion II. Evaluation and Management III. Diagnostic Procedures IV. Endoscopy V. Therapeutic Procedures VI. Rehabilitation Chapter three Diagnostic Procedures is divided into four parts : Functional Diagnosis, Visual Diagnosis, Pathological Diagnosis, Biopsy and Sampling. Chapter five Therapeutic Procedures is divided into Psychiatry, Non-Invasive Therapy, Invasive Therapy, Anaesthesia and Radiation Oncology. Of these sub-divisions, Functional Diagnosis, Biopsy and Sampling, Endoscopy and Invasive Therapy employs the anatomical system of classification. On the other hand, Visual Diagnosis, Pathological Diagnosis, Anesthesia and Diagnostic Radiology, namely those divisions in which there is little or no overlapping in services with other divisions, used the classification system of its own division. The classification system introduced in this thesis can be further supplemented through the use of the cluster analysis by incorporating the advice and assistance of other specialists.

Interaction patterns between teachers-students and teacher's discourse structures in mathematization processes (수학화 과정에서 교사와 학생 간의 상호작용 양상과 교사의 담론 구조)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the teacher's discourse structure of teachers according to the interaction pattern between teacher and student in the process of mathematization. To achieve this goal, we observed a semester class (44 lessons) of an experienced teacher who had practiced teaching methods for promoting student engagement for more than 20 years. Among them, one lesson case would be match the teacher's intention and the student's response and the other one lesson case would be to mismatch between the teacher's intention and the student's response was analyzed. In other words, in the process of mathematization based on students' engagement, the intention of the teacher and the reaction of the student was determined according to the cases where students did not make an error and when they made an error. A methodology used to develop a theory based on data collected through classroom observations(grounded theory). Because the purpose of the study is to identify the teacher's discourse structure to help students' mathematization, observe the teacher's discourse and collect data based on student engagement. Based on the teacher's discourse, conceptualize it as a discourse structure for students to mathematization. As a result, teacher's discourse structure had contributed to the intention of the teacher and the reaction of the student in the process of mathematization. Based on these results, we can help the development of classroom discourse for mathematization by specifying the role of the teacher to help students experience the mathematization process in the future.

  • A mobile device like ceil phone is the necessity of modern people, of ich con be easily connected to a wireless internet through such a mobile device. The demand for a wireless data communication is growing rapidly. However, agencies have not yet completed standardization of a markup language. Due to the development of the Mobile Device, agencies in this field have provided different data formats with each Mobile Device Platform. Traditionally, contents is hand-tailored to suit the target device. A key problem is that the characteristics and capabilities of the mobile device are too diverse to service the most suitable mobile contents. Because of these problems, the need for a re-usable document description language increases. In this paper, we defined Template file that is common data to service mobile devices. We proposed a method that could be an effective wireless web service though design and the implementation of the Call manager & the XSL Generator. In the methodology, when requesting a wireless internet service, a mobile device finds out markup language and a hardware specification of the mobile device through the Call Manager component supports. The XSL Generator component creates the XSL file dynamically that is the most suitable to a device. Finally, contents is serviced to each device by XSLT. It can generate a wireless page more easily by reusing the existing web contents through such course. Therefore, it can save the time and expense for generating a wireless page.

Analysis of Research Trends on Gifted Education in Korea (한국 영재교육의 연구동향 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate trends of research in the area of gifted education in Korea. Research articles published in the Journal of Gifted/Talented Education from 2006 to the present, which totalled 422 articles, were analyzed. Also, articles in the area of gifted education published in other academic journals registered in Korea Research Foundation totalling 228 were analyzed. In addition, 131 doctoral dissertations on gifted education areas were investigated. The articles were analyzed in terms of their subjects, topics and research methods. The results show that most of the studies looked into elementary and high school students as subjects, and the most researched topics of the articles were program development and curriculum, identification, affective characteristics and cognition. The methodology of majority of the articles were quantitative methods. Implications and future research areas are discussed.

Development of System for Calculating Carbon Storage Amount of Roadside Tree Using Mobile Mapping System (멀티센서 융합 측위 시스템을 이용한 가로수 탄소저장량 산정 시스템 개발)

  • This study developed a new methodology to evaluate the carbon storage using a Mobile Mapping System according to the life cycle of street trees. The system for calculating the carbon storage of a roadside tree using the MMS developed in this study consisted of a database, memory, processor, user interface, and communication module. The carbon storage was calculated for 261 trees in the Cheonan-Asan New Town (distance: 2.1 km, area: $283,698m^2$). The average biomass and carbon storage of Metasequoia glyptostroboides were highest at 34.5 kg and 17.3 kg C and Chionanthus retusa were lowest at 19.5 kg and 9.8 kg C, respectively. The total biomass and total carbon storage of Ginkgo biloba were highest at 5028.8 kg and 17.3 kg C and Chionanthus retusa were lowest at 780.7 kg and 390.3 kg C, respectively. Based on the roadside tree database, the amount of carbon storage in a given area was converted to Google format and visualized in 3D by GIS analysis.

Mediating Roles of Perceived Money Importance and Gratitude in the Effects of Social Support on Pleasure in Spending for Other-gift (사회적 지원과 돈의 중요성 및 고마움, 그리고 선물구매에서 지불의 기쁨)

  • Purpose - A lot of preceeding studies have focused on the pains that might be felt in spending money, that is an important role in getting psychological safety. Money and social resources can be all for consumers, and they are likely to form a substituting relationship with one another. Being motivated by the idea that spending money for others can come with joy if one's objective is accomplished by social support, this paper aimed to explore the mediating role of the perceived money importance and gratitude in the relationship between social support and pleasure in spending for other-gift. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - In this empirical study, the experimental group is expected to receive social support while the control group is composed of those who are usually indulged in reminiscences of their sweethearts. From the college students, 160 experiment participants were selected and 80 participants of them were assigned to control group as well as to experimental group respectively at random. Empirical study for each of the two groups was performed respectively by means of questionnaire survey. Experimental group data and control group data were combined together to be used for testing hypotheses. Linear structural equation model in Amos was used to verify the hypotheses, and Bootstrap was also used to examine whether there were the mediating roles of the perceived money importance and gratitude or not. Results - From the empirical study, following conclusions could be drawn: First, social support of others makes one perceive the importance of money less; Second, social support of others makes one perceive gratitude to others; Third, less perceived importance of money and gratitude to others can make one feel pleasure in spending for other-gift; and Fourth, less perceived importance of money and gratitude to others can partially mediate the effect of social support from others on the pleasure in spending for other-gift. Conclusions - The outcomes of this study might offer theoretic and managerial implications as follow: Even though many hitherto studies have asserted that spending money usually comes with pains, this study discovered that social support might reduce perceived the importance of money but make others feel gratitude and, thus, one would feel joy in spending money to buy gift for others, and made a contribution to the progress of the theory of pleasure in spending for other-gift. This paper also made contributions toward the development of emotion marketing theory by showing that the effect of social support on the pleasure in spending for other-gift could be partially mediated by the perceived the importance of money and gratitude to others. Based on the above conclusions, it may be affirmed that marketers should help consumers perceive the importance of money less, and help feel gratitude to others by pointing up the support of others to consumers in an attempt to accelerate spending for other-gift.

A Study on the Effects of factor of Service Quality, Service Guarantee and Service Value in General Super Market. (종합슈퍼마켓(GSM)에서 서비스품질, 보증 및 서비스가치의 영향요인에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose - This study plans to adopt a more sophisticated approach toward service recognition by customers in general supermarkets in order to revise the service quality measurement methods that suit the context of Korean distribution channels. In particular, in general supermarkets, where much of the shopping process is in the form of self-service, there is high reliance on the service recognized by the consumers; therefore, it is highly likely that consumers would make their purchasing decisions based on their recognition of service quality or guarantees. It also utilized service quality elements of a basic level in the KD-SQS development model in order to indicate that the quality recognized by consumers impacts their loyalty to the stores with financial value and abstract value. Research design, data, and methodology - The study suggested a theoretical model comprising 13 hypotheses on relations between theoretic variables, and conducted surveys with consumers using discount stores in Seoul and Gyunggi Metropolitan area in order to verify the hypotheses, while using SPSS 20.0, AMOS 21.0 as the verification program. The survey sheets used amounted to 332, and a structural equation model was used to analyze the reliability and validity of constituent elements and to verify the suggested hypothesis. Therefore, this study analyzes the interrelations between service quality and guarantee factors in the distribution channel and their relations with the loyalty to stores as a dependent variable. Results - First, the results of the hypotheses tests helped identify the relations between service quality, service guarantees, service value, and customer loyalty, providing an opportunity to define the relations between constituent elements. In particular, service convenience in service quality has no impact on financial values. Further, stores' service policy had no impact on abstract values. Service recognition by service convenience has an impact on abstract values such as good image, comfort, and usability, while mileage systems promote financial values for consumers. In order to improve consumer values in service quality and values, general supermarkets should improve their service convenience, membership, and mileage programs using various strategies. Conclusion - In order to improve consumer values in service quality and values, general supermarkets should improve their service convenience, membership, and mileage programs using various strategies. Further, as service guarantee systems have a significant and direct impact on customer loyalty, rather than customer value recognition, service guarantees should be used to encourage customers to re-visit the stores. Finally, this study applied the findings of preceding studies in terms of service quality measurement; it had limitations in referencing preceding studies in a comprehensive manner. It also had limits in expanding upon various preceding studies because it was difficult to apply new measurement tools due to the lack of service quality measurement tools for general supermarkets. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct more studies on service quality to measure service quality and develop measurement tools by incorporating various industry characteristics.

Mediation of Production Trust on Brand Image Influence on Repurchase Intention for PB Rice (브랜드 이미지와 구매의도 간의 영향관계에서 상품 신뢰의 매개효과 검증: PB 쌀을 중심으로)

  • Purpose - Increasing sales of PB rice products can hinder the growth of domestic brands of rice, notwithstanding that the government is promoting domestic brands of rice. This analysis evaluated the influencing relationship among the variables of PB image, product credibility, and purchase intention of consumers who have never bought PB rice, to know the factors influencing consumers' decisions to purchase PB products. Research design, data, and methodology - PB products' brand image was analyzed as the factor that has a direct effect on purchase intention. The mediation effect of credibility on PB products is also analyzed, in terms of influencing the relationship between PB products' brand image and purchase intention. The analysis is performed on consumers that have not purchased a PB product and consumers who have purchased PB products from major distributors. Data is collected through questionnaires, from 389 of responders, and the AMOS 19.0 statistics package is used as a statistical tool. Results - It is proven that brand image has direct effects on the credibility of the product, and the credibility of product has a direct effect on purchase intention. However, it is revealed that brand image does not directly affect purchase intention, but that brand image indirectly affects it through the credibility of the product. Although the customers' recognition about PB image is low, the result shows that PB products' external attributes have effects on customers' purchase intention relating to the PB product. Therefore, it is important to establish the credibility of the PB product more than other products in terms of marketing. Conclusions - The following are the implications of the study. First, in a rice brand promotion, the credibility of the product should be ensured by a uniform brand image. To ensure the credibility of a product, the RPC brand and other brands should be unified, and the unified brand image should be applied to every product. Second, the package must possess a design as well as contents that could build consumers' perception of product credibility. Products' external attributes contribute to their credibility, which leads the consumers to purchase the products, including those consumers who have never bought PB rice products. Therefore, the products' credibility and sales can be reinforced by applying information about consumers' considerations when buying the PB rice product in different colors, font sizes, and packaging designs. This study is meaningful in two ways. First, it seeks to identify an NB revitalization strategy by exploring the purchasing behavior of customers who have no experience in buying PB rice products. Second, the results of previous studies about general brands are considered and applied in this study in order to investigate the influencing relationship among different factors of PB products. However, this study is a consumer awareness investigation; therefore, its results only have limited meaning to the relationship between brand image and purchase intention.

A Study on the Continuance Intention of O2O Fresh Agricultural Products E-Commerce (O2O를 활용한 신선한 농산품 전자상거래의 지속적 사용의도에 관한 연구)

  • Purpose - This study focuses on the continuance intention of O2O fresh agricultural products e-commerce. By literature review, this paper looks through the classical theories which are often applied to study use behavior and continuance intention on the electronic commerce area. Ultimately based on the expectancy theory, Technology acceptance model, success model as well as trust model, a model of the continuance intention of fresh products O2O electronic commerce application is established. Research design, data, and methodology - Among users Chinese consumers have been chosen who have use experience as the research objects. From October 2, 2018 to November 2, 2018, 685 questionnaires in total were collected by the online release and collection. Expect for the negative questionnaires, the remaining 650 pieces of data are statistically analyzed. The collected data were firstly be analyzed by SPSS Ver. 25 on its frequency, reliability and exploratory factors. Then AMOS Ver. 25 is applied to the Confirmatory Factor Analysis, Discriminant Validity and hypothesis testing of the Structural Equation Modeling. Finally, the following research conclusions could be obtained from the hypothesis testing. Results - Firstly, in the extended IS model, quality factor for hypothesis testing, service quality, information quality and delivery quality have obviously present positive influences on satisfaction respectively. Secondly, in the hypothesis testing part of ECM-ISC model and UTAUT model, all hypotheses have presented accepted results. Especially from expectation confirmation to usefulness perception, the influence factor achieves 12.603, In the hypothesis of continuance intention, the influence factor of social influence on continuance intention is 7.748 and also it is the most remarkable one. Conclusions - The results show that the service quality of O2O fresh agricultural products e-commerce has the greatest impact on satisfaction, while the perceived usefulness of consumers has the most significant impact on O2O fresh agricultural products for sustainable use intention. This thesis makes up for the blank of O2O fresh food e-commerce for sustainable use intentions, and provides a theoretical basis for consumers' sustainable use behavior, and practical enlightenment for the sustainable development of O2O fresh agricultural products e-commerce.

Design of a Model-Based Fuzzy Controller for Container Cranes (컨테이너 크레인을 위한 모델기반 퍼지제어기 설계)

  • In this paper, we present the model-based fuzzy controller for container cranes which effectively performs set-point tracking control of trolley and anti-swaying control under system parameter and disturbance changes. The first part of this paper focuses on the development of Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy modeling in a nonlinear container crane system. Parameters of the membership functions are adjusted by a RCGA to have same dynamic characteristics with nonlinear model of a container crane. In the second part, we present a design methodology of the model-based fuzzy controller. Sub-controllers are designed using LQ control theory for each subsystem in fuzzy model and then the proposed controller is performed with the combination of these sub-controllers by fuzzy IF-THEN rules. In the results of simulation, the fuzzy model showed almost similar dynamic characteristics compared to the outputs of the nonlinear container crane model. Also, the model-based fuzzy controller showed not only the fast settling time for the change in parameter and disturbance, but also stable and robust control performances without any steady-state error.
