Family professionals and family program staff need to consider the importance of program evaluation in Korea since an increasing number of Healthy Family Support Centers are providing diverse intervention and education programs. The purpose of this research paper is to (a) introduce a program evaluation model that includes the program life cycle; (b) help family professionals and family program staff understand the link between program implementation and evaluation processes; and (c) facilitate discussions in terms of program evaluation of Healthy Family Support Centers and evaluation roles of different levels of Healthy Family Support Centers including the headquarters, regional, and local centers. Understanding the program life cycle and relevant evaluation processes will help family professionals and family program staff be more strategic in answering critical questions about a program's effectiveness. The benefits of program evaluation and its implications are discussed.
Life-Cycle Engineering(LCE) is a decision-making methodology that considers environmental and cost needs during the product life-cycle. Environmental conscious design and manufacturing has become more and more important and it has been enforced by governmental regulations and used as trade restriction. LCE involves integrating environmental consideration into new product development including design, material selection, manufacturing processes and distribution of the product to the consumers, plus the end-of-life management such as disassembly, material recovery, remanufacturing of the product after discarding it. In this paper, a state-of-the-art survey of LCE is presented.

In recent years, the importance of the safety of medical device software has been emphasized because of the function and role of the software among components of the medical device, and because the operation of the medical device software is directly related to the life and safety of the user. To this end, various standards have been set up that provide activities that can effectively ensure the safety of medical devices and provide their respective requirements. The activities that standards provide to ensure the safety of medical device software are largely divided into the development life cycle of medical device software and the risk management process. These two activities should be concurrent with the development process, but there is a limitation that the risk management requirements to be performed at each stage of the medical device software development life cycle are not classified. As a result, developers must analyze the association of standards directly to develop risk management activities during the development of medical devices. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the relationship between medical device software development life cycle and risk management process, and extract risk management requirement items. It enables efficient and systematic risk management during the development of medical device software by mapping the extracted risk management requirement items to the development life cycle based on the analyzed associations.

Recent years, many industries acknowledge that environmental substantiality of products must be an essential role and it is one of the major importances for industries to consider the environmental impacts of products at the early stages of product development. This study investigated eco-design parameters and $CO_2-eq$. emissions in each stage of raw material acquisition, manufacturing, transportation, use and disuse in life cycle of touch monitor stand based on Eco-Design. In this study, to fulfill of Eco-Design, the environmental impact assessment of through LCA(Life cycle assessment) was carried out with benchmarking monitor stand and we suggested the direction of new design of touch monitor stand mechanism based on eco-friendly considerations. New design based on LCT(Life Cycle Thinking) showed that the following eco-friendly considerations at the early stage of design to be helpful to reduce GWP(Global Warming Potential) [kg $CO_2-eq$.] in new monitor stand development and it is necessary for Eco-Design process of the product.

The use of technical proposal tendering has been expanding recently with the aim of effecting cost reduction, quality enhancement, technological development and value realization centered on multifunctional administrative cities, innovation cities, and the Yongsan relocation project. In line with the increasing interest towards life cycle cost improvement measures as an important evaluation category concerning technical proposal tendering, efforts in preparing measures that can execute the security of credibility and objective evaluation concerning architectural life cycle cost are being made. However, problems such as lack of applicable cases of design development and detail design, distortion of initial construction costs concerning the original plan, combination of constant price and current price, the ambiguity of the calculation standards between tendering corporations, inaccuracy of terms, and insufficient compositional formats concerning life cycle improvement measures are being cited. Accordingly, this study sought to propose a measure to improve the compositional guidelines, format, and standards so that a systematic life cycle cost evaluation can be executed for the reliable distinction of each participating corporation, enhanced credibility and objective evaluation of the life cycle cost improvement measure for technical proposals.

In crustacea the molting cycle is the most important physiological process affecting growth, behaviour, reproduction and population dynamics through their life span. Particularly molt cycle is closely related to reproductive cycle, and it is important to determine the successive stages of molt cycle to understand reproductive phenomena including ovarian cycle and the development of the embryos in the marsupium. This paper presents about the analysis on cost factor reduction using the life cycle cost model for motor block in the KTX-1. Until now, most life cycle cost of the system as a whole that has been studied. but in case of railway industry part, LCC studies are needed on the subsystem like a propulsion control system because subsystems are developed continuously localization. Therefore, In this paper presents cost breakdown structure for life cycle cost (LCC) estimation for localization development of propulsion control system (Motor Block) in high speed railway vehicle (KTX-1). Also to analysis LCC on motor block, it was analyzed physical breakdown structure (PBS) and preventive cost on propulsion control system in view of maintenance cost. Based on this, we describe life cycle cost on motor block of KTX-1.

This study was conducted as a part of database construction for development of CO2 assessment system for concrete to assess CO2 emissions and analyze characteristics of blast furnace slag manufactured in Korea through life cycle assessment method. For this, life cycle CO2 emissions assessment technique for construction materials was examined. The entire manufacturing process for blast furnace slag was analyzed on blast furnace slag manufacturer in Korea for application of assessment technique. Life cycle CO2 assessment was performed on blast furnace slag after classifying assessment process into raw material production step, raw material transportation step and construction material manufacture step.

With domestic construction projects becoming bigger, more specialized and more advanced, the construction industry is striving to improve quality and quantity, and is diversifying functions and shapes. Nevertheless, the process of a construction project causes problems when we estimate construction price, because the cost breakdown structures are different in each step. The primary aim of this study was to estimate building life cycle cost using the Delphi method. The cost breakdown structure for life cycle cost was classified into planning, design, construction, maintenance and waste disposal, and each detailed classification was determined by estimating life cycle cost. Moreover, the developed cost breakdown structure is verified by consulting with experts to secure objectivity and validity.
A novel quantified method based on requirement analysis of image quality to improve display image quality was proposed. Nowadays, the image quality was limited by the poor understanding of the image quality requirement, which led to the critical factors of image quality could not be controlled during display development. Our method was set up to resolve this problem by clarifying the relationship between the image quality level and the effect factors in image processing. Moreover, the subjective factors were eliminated extremely by the image quality quantification. The method was applied in the RPTV development life cycle and its efficiency was demonstrated.
