Recently, there has been a trend designing a consistent and uniform regional identity in South Korean provinces as demonstrated by efforts in Chungcheongnam buk-Do. The motivating goals have been to establish an identity for local residents, provide voluntary services, achieve higher value-added business, introduce new management strategies, and establish a local brand through the exportation of local specialties. The by-products of these goals when accomplished include: maintaining a consistent policy, securing governmental economic efficiency of the province, characterizing local culture and improving quality of life. In this study, I tried to find out whether a local logo which is associated with a city plays a core role in the city's identity by comparing each symbol's shape, color and other components which are ways of expressing its meaning. In this respect, I analyzed the type of the Chungcheongnam buk-Do's symbol marks (30) and tried to suggest the desirable direction in developing symbol marks.

This study is to analyze korea credit card market and the China credit card market, and predict future economic activity by developing the Algorithm for future economic trend Estimation As a results, there is no significant correlation between personal income growth and the credit card usage amount, and significant correlation between the credit card per capita and the credit card usage amount, in korea. there is significant correlation between personal income growth and the credit card usage amount, and between the credit card per capita and the credit card usage amount in china. it could be predicted that the china credit card market would be increased and the rate of increase would be gradually increased over the next five years, under the condition without constraints in the external environment.

The consumption trend of fashion in modern industrial society is developing from the rapid changes, and the lifespan of fashion products becomes shorter due to the various industrial wastes. Due to the attitude change caused by the ethical consumption consciousness and environment awareness, the up-cycle fashion products got to receive attention, and it is in the limelight as a new trend to realize the sustainable fashion products in the domestic and foreign fashion. The purpose of this study lies in drawing the expression characteristics by investigating and analyzing the cases of each type on the fashion bag products of up-cycle brand, and contributing to the diversification of product family fitting to the characteristics of fashion bag product of up-cycle brand, systematic strategies of up-cycle fashion products, and activation of up-cycle fashion market. In research methods, the theatrical researches were conducted centered the relevant domestic literature materials, preceding papers, etc., which ran paralleled with the actual case analysis study. Through the preceding research and websites related to selected products, websites of up-cycle companies, relevant books, related articles, etc., the expression characteristics of up-cycle fashion bag products were drawn. The results of this study are as follows: First, as it has the feature of historicality, the designs can be created by containing the designer's story, story of materials, and consumer's story. Second, since it has the characteristic of sustainability, the application of manufacturing process and materials, extension of product life, conversion of original material's function, etc. can be sustainable. Third, as it's a trait of scarcity, all products may be produced by hand, and it can have the specialty which the original materials have. Fourth, since it has an eco-friendly trait, even while saving the original materials, the aesthetic needs could be met according to the consumers' continuous demand.

Micro-robots are utilized as useful tools in diagnosis and treatment of various human diseases. At present, lots of countries are developing and making many micro-robots. Government of S. Korea are trying to push ahead with the plan as technology policy, for the same reason. So this study examined about micro-robot technology development and trend of S. Korea, by using the method of SWOT(Strength-Weakness-Opportunity-Threat) analysis. As a result, the future policy for micro-robot of S. Korea is to further spur the development of new micro-robot technology and more improvement of the technology level of micro-robots registered by patent as 'micro-robot of bacterium base for lesion treatment' and 'micro-robot moved by compressive fluid'. Finally, It was already confirmed as high level, technology of 'micro-robot of bacterium base for lesion treatment' and 'micro-robot moved by compressive fluid' invented at S. Korea.

As a virtual identity on the virtual space, Avata is expressed in the various graphic forms such as 2D and 3D. Avata is not just combination of characters, but it also reveals the cultural Avitus of the times or the society, which often represents the discrimination according to the generation or social stratum or the unconscious choice of popular culture The modern days are absolutely influenced by the popular culture. And, it is also the case in the virtual space as well as the real world, influencing the fashion trend, cultural taste, and even the behavioral pattern of individuals. Hereupon, through an analysis of cases of using Avata character graphic, we are going to look into the technical ways of expressing Avata and the overall pop culture trend and individual life pattern and taste which are shown in the choice of outfit, necessaries, and background. And, we will also find out the kitsch characteristics in the consumption of Avata. And, we also expect that the image of Avata would be developing into a positive identity demonstrating one's existence on the virtual space, not simply a meaningless choice and combination of image in expressing and consuming Avata.

The cruiser trip which can have various experiences in a short time is growing as the best tourism package because there is less leisure time in contrast of the increased income in 21C. in other words, as the demand of the tourist goes up, the number of ships built newly is increasing. The order of the ship keeping first and second rank in Korea has arranged a long-term strategy in order to get into the global market with the cruiser with the high value added. They also set the objective related to the cruiser design and skillful construction work. We need to observe the change and trend of the cruiser with a care at this time when the cruiser industry is launched out. In this study, the cruiser industry is divided by four periods: the spring time, the depressed time, the developing time and the peak time, on the basis of the trend of the development and the change of space structure. In addition, it was analyzed in this study that there were the various trends such as the ratio, the structure and the type of the space as well as the interior plan in the passenger's residential place The aim of this study is to present the fundamental material about the interior plan to prepare for building the domestic cruisers in a foreseeable future.

This study analyzed the contents and changes by year of metadata research that appeared in the study of domestic movie curation from the viewpoint of art management. The research method used thesis search site to search 'movie' and 'metadata' as keywords, and analyzed them in 4 stages of change according to the research trend by year, purpose of research content, analysis by use, and type of recommendation method. As for research results, movie metadata research is highly interested in user-side research, and is developing from an introduction stage to an evolutionary stage of recommendation to a sharing and participation stage. It was concluded that movie curation evolved into 6 stages: search support, content-based, collaborative filtering, hybrid, artificial intelligence, and curation.

Silicon wafer for making semiconductor devices and solar cell is used in the semiconductor and solar industry, respectively. Silicon wafer is produced by cutting with silicon ingot and sludge contains silicon occurs from cutting process. Generation of silicon sludge is increasing on developing all industry sectors which have need of semiconductor device. These days it has been widely studied for the recycling technologies of the silicon sludge from view points of economy and efficiency. In this paper, patents and paper on the recycling technologies of the silicon sludge were analyzed. The range of search was limited in the open patents of USA (US), European Union (EU), Japan (JP), Korea (KR) and SCI journals from 1982 to 2011. Patents and journals were collected using key-words searching and filtered by filtering criteria. The trends of the patents and journals was analyzed by the years, countries, companies, and technologies.

Occupying the center of architecture, design, painting and culture, minimalism is aesthetics of essence that reflects modern age but transcends age at the same time. Pursuing minimalist trend like this and covering the range of furniture, interior and architecture, total designer Antonio Citterio is developing minimalist designs of his own. Called one of the 3 greatest furniture designers in the world today, he leads the trend and enjoys high reputation as a world-renowned interior designer and architect. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze and integrate minimalist descriptive characteristics which appeared in interior space of Citterio who pursues minimalist design. As a study method, this study reorganized minimalism from methodological perspective, drew out expressive characteristics of minimalist interior spaces unique to Citterio based on background and influence of Citterio's design and, centering on this frame of analysis, analyzed and integrated interior spaces he designed. The results of this study are as follows; first, in order to overcome problems that can become monotonous in a minimalist space, Citterio provides spatial experiences to feel visual and spatial variations using the ramp and bridge. Second, he created various senses of space with visual and spatial expansion using transparency in the walls made of glass. Third, with linear expressions, he designed modern spaces with beauty of proportion and balance through contrast and emphasis. Fourth, he made constructive expression through exposure of structures or stairs in the space. Fifth, he created sophisticated atmosphere with contrast between natural and artificial materials and emphasis of material properties. Sixth, his design also shows the characteristic of using furniture as the role of adjusting overall atmosphere of interior space, not as separated parts from it. The author hopes that above results of this study will provide new implications for the development of domestic interior design.

Objectives : To review the recent trend of randomized controlled clinical trials on insomnia and to provide information for future clinical trials. Methods : A total of 667 pieces of literature were searched using the key words 'insomnia' and 'randomized controlled trial' and using the title 'insomnia' with the topic 'trial or trials', published from 2008 to 2012 through Web of Science. Studies including randomized controlled clinical trials were sorted from the search result and finally 104 pieces of the literature were selected and examined. Results : Besides 104 clinical trials, 14 trials related to CAM (Complementary and Alternative Medicine) were also reviewed. On average, 20 trials were annually conducted and they showed a growing trend. Participants were between 31 and 90 (34.6%), and were observed for less than 30 days (28.8%) in most trials. As intervention methods for clinical trials, non-pharmaceutical methods were used in 59 studies (56.7%), pharmaceutical drug in 43 studies (41.3%) and combinations in 2 studies (1.9%). In 60 studies, only insomnia without any underlying diseases was examined and other 44 studies involved other diseases. As diagnosis assessment tools, Sleep diary and Polysomnography were used. Conclusions : Randomized controlled trials relevant to insomnia were on the increase, but only a small number of clinical trials on Oriental Medicine have been performed. Larger scientific and well-founded randomized controlled trials are required for developing Oriental Medicine and establishing high-quality guideline going forward.
