The configuration of design technology in 21st century must require collaborative design system, in which distributed design organizations and their related enterprises can mutually cooperate by overcoming time and regional restictions, and by exactily exchanging and sharing desing data. To achieve these objectives, it is necessary that the design system can propery deal with the dynamic change between regionally distributed modules. In this paper, we will discuss developing the dynamic virtual collaborative design system based on WWW by implementing recent web technologies such as Java and VRML.

The impact of hot carrier induced gate leakage current on the refresh time of memory devices has been examined. The maximum allowable supply voltage for cell transistor has been determined form the degradation of the refresh time. The desing guideline for cell capacitors and refresh circuits has been suggested.

VHDL simulation requires both analysis and elaboration processes. Reducing the time taken by these processes shorten design cycles. We propose an incremental analysis and elaboration algorithm for VHDL, which minimizes the number of design units to be re-analyzed and re-elaborated after an incremental change, thereby reducing the desing cycle time. Experimental results show about four times performance improvement in analysis and 1.25 times in elaboration over the conventional method.

현재 센서 너트워크와 홈네트워크 분야에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행 중이다. 아직까지 센서 네트워크 분야는 기존의 네트워크 시스템에 연결된 형태의 연구가 많았고 홈 네트워크는 가전기기를 중심의 연구가 대부분이었다. 이런 문제를 해결하기 위해 센서네트워크를 관리할 수 있는 OSGi 기반의 서비스 미들웨어를 설계하였다. 서비스 미들웨어는 OSGi 프레임워크상에서 동작하며 센서 네트워크 시스템과 연동하기 위한 번들과 OSGi 프레임워크 사의 번들을 제어하는 관리 번들로 구성하였다.

In this paper a method of designing FIR filters without digital arithmetic operationsi is persented. The filter coefficients are represented by resistors combined with a differential amplifier. With this method an FIR filter can be simply impemented without refering to complex digital arithmetic operations. Furthermore, in this scheme, no additional D/A converter is needed for D/A conversion. Spectral response response of a pulse shaping filter of 17 coefficients is shown as an illustration.

This paper presents a desing of a PWM programmable controller for industrial robot to be utilized in process which reqires various movements and repeating operations. To be specific, a low-level robot language is constructed which makes easy for the user to program complex robot motion, and an interpreter is developed to execute the program. Also, related hardware and software, and monitor program for convenience of user are implemented. When the proposed controller is applied to the catresian coordinate 4-axis manipulator, it reveals that the error probabilities of X,Y and Z axis as 0.033%, 0.023%,0.028% respectively.

최근 텍스트, 이미지, 오디오, 비디오와 같은 멀티미디어 객체를 다루는 연구는 국내외적으로 활발하게 진행되고 있으나, 이러한 멀티미디어 객체들을 효율적으로 저장 및 검색하기 위한 하부저장 시스템에 대한 연구는 미흡한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 대용량 멀티미디어 객체들을 효율적으로 저장 및 검색하기 위한 구조를 분석하고 다양한 이질적 객체들을 위한 객체 관리자 및 대용량 텍스트를 위한 역화일 관리자를 설계한다. 아울러, 기존의 하부저정 구조인 SHORE 저장시스템에 통합하여 DBMS 측면에서 제공하는 동시성 제어, 회복기법 등을 지원할 수 있는 객체저장 엔진을 구현한다.

본 논문에서는 ‘제품 디자인’개발과정에 인간공학을 적용하는 도구 개발 프로젝트의 일환으로 연구된 ‘컴퓨터를 이용한 인간공학 디자인 교육 도구’의 연구 결과물을 정리하여 제시하고자 한다. 제품 디자이너에게 필요한 인간공학기법은 삼차원 공간상에서 표현돼야 할 요소가 많다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터를 이용하여 인간공학기법을 제품 디자이너가 쉽게 익히고 활용할 수 있게 함을 목적으로 한다. 본 컴퓨터를 이용한 교습 도구의 개발은 1)디자이너에게 필요한 인간공학 기법들을 찾아내고, 2)이 기법들을 디자이너가 이해하기 쉽게 정리한 다음, 3)교습도구를 개발하는 순 으로 진행되었다. 도구 개발 기간은 총 6개월이 소요됐으며, 보다 나은 교습도구의 개발을 위해서 사용자 평가도 행해졌다.

In this paper, we proposed an optimization method of the membership function and the numbers of fuzzy rule base for the stabilization controller of the inverted pendulum system by genetic algorithm(GAs). Conventional methods to these problems need to an expert knowledge or human experience. The proposed genetic algorithm method will tune automatically the input-output membership parameters and will optimize their rule-base.

현재 사회적인 이슈가 되고 있는 불량 식품에 대한 경각심을 아이들에게 심어주어 좋은 식습관을 유지하도록 교육하는 앱을 개발하고자 한다. 개발하고자 하는 앱은 몸에 안좋은 불량식품을 좋아하는 아이들에게 경각심을 일깨워 주며, 불량 식품에 첨가된 발암불질, 표백제 등이 성장기 아이들에게 치명적임을 인식시키는 정보제공을 하며, 게임 형식을 통해 스스로 좋은 것과 나쁜 것에 대해 확인하여 창의적 자아활동을 유도 한다. 음식에 대한 올바른 이해와 함께 성장기 어린이들의 인지 및 언어 능력을 학습하고자 개발하였다.
