The purpose of the research was to analyze the characteristics which appeared to the process of designing experiment for pre-service elementary teachers. This study were participated 26 pre-service elementary teachers. The findings indicated that first, the researcher figured out the process elements could constructed in 12 elements such as 'states problem or question, predicts outcome or hypothesizes, lists materials needed, arranges steps in sequential order, lists more than 3 steps, Explore variables and select one or more variables, plans to control variables, plans to measure and observation, plans data collection, plans to repeat testing and tells reason, states plan for interpreting data, states plan for making conclusion based on data, states plan for making conclusion based on data' but did not figure out 2 elements such as 'defines the terms of the experiment, practice safety'. second, the characteristics of pre-service elementary teachers in the process of designing experiment were as follows; pre-service elementary teachers designed experiments unstructured process listed types and showed the superficial level of the design experiment. The results show that the programs of designing experiment activity should be constructed with the process elements which were concentrated by pre-service elementary teachers, should provide feedbacks to design experiment more accurately.

이 연구는 생물학자와 과학영재의 실험설계활동에서 나타나는 과정요소와 특성을 분석한 것이다. 연구대상으로 동물행동생태를 전공한 생물학자 4명과 과학영재 생물반 학생 32명을 선정하였고, 연구를 위해 주어진 과제는 Fowler(1990)의 DCT이다. 그들의 실험설계활동과 관련된 모든 자료를 수집하였고, 이 자료를 분석하기 위한 분석틀을 개발하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 생물학자와 과학영재의 실험설계활동에서 나타난 과정요소는 문제 확인, 준비물 열거, 실험대상에 대한 고려, 변인 탐색, 변인 소거, 변인 선택, 변인 조작 방법 계획, 환경적 변인 통제 계획, 생물적 변인 통제 계획, 관찰 측정 방법 계획, 자료 수집 계획, 자료 해석 계획, 실험의 반복 계획, 측정의 반복 계획, 안전 수칙으로 총 15가지가 있다. 생물학자는 특정한 과정요소에 집중하는 반면, 과학영재는 정형화된 과정요소를 나타냈다. 둘째, 생물학자와 과학영재의 실험설계활동에서 나타난 특성을 종합하면 다음과 같다: 1) 생물학자와 과학영재 모두 영역특수적인 과정기술이 포함된 과정요소를 나타냈다. 2) 생물학자는 특정한 과정을 반복적으로 점검하면서 정교하게 실험을 설계하는 반면, 과학영재는 피상적으로 실험을 설계한다. 3) 생물학자는 영역특수적인 기술과 노하우를 가지고 있으나, 과학영재는 그렇지 않다. 이러한 결과는 과학영재의 실험설계활동 교육 프로그램은 생물학자들이 집중하는 과정요소를 중심으로 구성하고, 정교한 실험 설계를 할 수 있도록 피드백을 제공하고, 생물학자의 과정기술이나 노하우를 학습할 수 있는 형태로 개발되어야 함을 시사한다.

The purpose of this study is to develop basic data for the design of the housing space for unit that factors in the sentiment of the residents by using aesthetic elements and expression method to search for the ways to design housing space for differentiated unit. The results are as follows: First, aesthetic elements in the aesthetic element in the unit housing space for unit can be classified into basic elements and detailed elements. Second, it is possible to classify into distortion, mixing, superposition and juxtaposition methods. Third, use of the 'material' for 'wall' is recommended when designing differentiated housing space by using basic elements. At this time, expression using the method of 'mixing' is effective for inducing differentiation. In particular, elements that can perceive the difference in time are mixed, to add on slight differentiation. Fourth, 'illumination' and 'material' are used when designing differentiated housing space by using detailed elements. Fifth, preference degree of the expression method is manifested differently depending on the selected elements. Lastly, this study conducted a study on the preference level of the aesthetic elements and expression method targeting the experts alone to differentiate the design of the residential space for unit.

엠비언트 미디어(Ambient Media or Ambient Display, Wisneski et al 1998)는 우리 주변의 일상적인 사물이나 환경의 동적인 변화를 통해 정보를 표현하는 새롭게 등장한 동적인 디자인 대상중 하나이다. 사용자가 집중한 상황만을 다루는 기존의 GUI기반 미디어와 달리, 엠비언트 미디어는 사용자가 주목하지 않는 상황에서도 주변적으로 정보를 인식할 수 있도록 전달한다. 엠비언트 미디어의 디자인을 위해서는 물리적 공간에서 동적인 속성을 가지는 디자인 구성 요소들에 대한 이해를 바탕으로 이를 주변적으로 전달할 수 있는 활용 방식에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 본 연구의 목표는 디자인 대상의 변화로 새롭게 등장한 동적인 디자인 요소를 파악하고, 이를 엠비언트 미디어의 특성에 적합하게 적용하기 위한 디자인 방법을 연구하는 것이다. 다양한 동적인 관련 분야 연구와 엠비언트 미디어의 사례 조사를 통해 동적인 디자인 요소를 탐색하여 도출하였다. 그 결과, 빠르기, 연속성, 강도 리듬의 4가지 동적인 디자인 요소를 제안하였다. 또한 심리학 분야 및 엠비언트 미디어 분야의 주변적인 인식 관련 연구를 통해 사용자가 집중하지 않고 주변적으로 인식될 때의 동적인 디자인 요소가 가지는 특정을 파악하였다. 이를 기반으로 새로운 엠비언트 미디어 사례를 개발하여 주변적으로 정보를 인식할 수 있도록 엠비언트 미디어를 디자인하기 위해 동적인 디자인 요소를 활용하는 방안을 탐색하였다. 본 연구를 통해, 주변적인 정보 전달을 위해 필요에 따라 정보를 주변적으로 혹은 중심적으로 표현하는 엠비언트 미디어 디자인에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 동적인 디자인 요소에 대한 규명과 그 특성에 대한 이해는 엠비언트 미디어뿐만 이니라 다양한 시간에 따른 동적인 표현을 위한 디자인 분야에 도움을 줄 수 있으리라 생각된다.

Common residential environment is synthetic forms promote with organic organization of varied cultures and images. Users perceive and classify about these environments of feeling and atmosphere of each elements through their experiences and memories, not fixed point of view. In Korea, park designing of common residential room is in operation monotonously attach importance to economical efficiency without aesthetic structures, varied tries of materials, multiplicity, congruity of surrounding, and user-oriented plan. Recently, in policy of park designing has elements that obstruct to characteristic of environment because of applied to wrong guidelines which are end in investigation to model of an advanced countries'. In conclusion, this investigation shows improve on quality of park planning with the pivot of the matter is for users of common residential room. and park planning needs to multidimensional achieve.

Facing the aging society in Korea, the necessity of the facility for dementia patients is gradually increasing. This study is to understand the dementia and also to provide tile basic planning guideline in designing of the interior architecture of dementia ward. In designing dementia wards, following elements such as the behavior characteristic of dementia patients, living environment, individuality and community should be considered. The sauntering road of patients, patients' privacy, rest room, bathroom in ward designing for dementia patients should be understood. Material, color, lighting and furniture and so on as an intoner composition are also major elements.

This study is an attempt to examine fashion elements appearing in the cover-page design of fashion magazines published in Korea and aims to find Korea#s own fashion identity in fashion styling and designing of those fashion magazines. In order to do so, the study reviewed the related literature and analyzed the issues of Vogue and Harper#s Bazaar magazines published between 2004 and 2006. The results of the study can be summarized as follows: In case of fashion photographs, the largest number of 72 sampled cover-model photographs is in approximately three-quarter cut size. For the items, most take the form of one-piece dress and feature the use of a variety of accessories. In case of dresses, most are the creations of foreign designers and famous fashion models or celebrities show up, mostly alone, as features on the cover pages. Because of the nature of fashion magazines, their primary emphasis is put on the dress among other things, but on the other hand some of those magazines have differential cover pages where the model#s face is highlighted with the look of makeup or a famous female actress stands out. However, the fashion in designing the cover pages of magazines is, rather than to show the dress itself, to create a new combination of different elements as total fashion or convey an image based on such a fashion style.

This study identifies elements involved in designing rehearsals for improving preservice teachers' capacity to teach mathematics. Observation of a secondary mathematics methods course and regular interviews with the teacher educator following each class were used in this research. After characterizing what is considered and enacted in rehearsals as a way to help preservice teachers practice the work of teaching mathematics, I illustrate them with examples from the observations and interviews. I then discuss the challenge of dual contexts-the teacher education classroom and the secondary mathematics classroom-and dual perspectives-the mathematical and pedagogical-in designing and enacting rehearsals. I conclude with implications for mathematics teacher education.

In this study, we selected 12 typical traditional restaurants in Korea and China and analyzed their application of traditional design approach. Through this analysis, we tried to explore similarities and differences of Korean restaurants and Chinese restaurants in order to determine the preferable way to express their own traditional design. We categorized traditional design approach as cultural elements, designing method, coloring and materials. The results are as follows: First, following a tradition and interpreting a tradition are considered as compelling design methods to express traditional culture. However, when combining a traditional and a modern design approach, it is important to either strongly emphasize traditional design elements or use small number of traditional design elements as focal points in modern design restaurants. Second, when designing a traditional restaurant using modern design elements with traditional focal points, it is more desirable to follow and/or to interpret a traditional elements, rather than experimenting an excessively unconventional design. Moreover, the design elements of exterior of a restaurant shows the identity of the restaurant. Therefore, using traditional elements in the exterior helps recognizing the traditional characteristics and culture. On the other hands, for the interior of the restaurant, it is better to use modern design method and materials for the practical reasons, such as construction cost reduction and ease of construction. We also discovered that it is more effective to use traditional elements to the pattern and color. The results of this study will set a foundation for further research of developing a design guideline for traditional restaurants.
