We easily witness that environmental issue is very critical point to affluence upon a restructuring the value system of human being. Therefore it is obvious that this issue affluence upon the field of design as well. The most important feature of environmental issue is 'wholeness' in itself. It means that we have to approach and to solve it as a whole. Also, design is to be done at the same way. The creative professionalism of design could provide a clue to solve the problem, but designer are tend to seek a solution in a just partial way such as recycling and packaging. But those attitude may cause more problems and spread it futhermore. Therefore this study is analysis some recognitive turning factors in order to solve the problems as a whole, and to suggest a appropriate methods according to such a view point. Even internal retrospect in design itself or external demand from the other, If we look away this issue, the real purpose of design, contributing for society, should be diluted by ourselves.

This paper reports the results of course restructuring employing design projects in an introductory mechanics of materials course at Pennsylvania State University. Unlike traditional lecture courses, students were encouraged to learn the rudiments of mechanical design and how materials standards, economics, manufacturing, environmental, legal (liability) and societal (safety) concerns relate to design. Through conducting collaborative design projects, the instructors helped students to acquire more advanced skills such as team-based decision making, integration and establishment of criteria, use of modern design theory, consideration of alternative solutions, and application of realistic constraints. In order to examine the impact of new course changes on students' learning, a survey was conducted in 1998 Fall semester. According to the results of survey analyses, students reported high values on this introductory mechanics of materials course. However, they did not give high values on the design projects. Rather, they preferred lecture sessions. Additionally, it was also found that students who earned higher grades from a prerequisite course(statics) showed lower values on the design projects. Implications for engineering educators and suggestions for future research studies were discussed.

SOC projects entail inherently large-scale works, and need much capital and time. Because of these features, the design activities in SOC projects are performed through a complicated process involving many organizations. A great deal of information is generated and vanished during the process, and the communication among the related organizations plays a very important role in successful fulfillment of SOC projects. But, because the method of information communication has not yet systematically established, there are many difficulties in sharing information. This study aims at establishing the design interface management model which enables the participants to effectively share the information during the design phase. The contents of the study include (1) Restructuring performance organization, (2) A decision making method in collaborative design through partnering with experts, (3) A method to develop Open Design Information Integrated model using Standardization(ODIIS).

CHILL language has been used for the software development of electronic switching and telecommunications system. ETRI CHILL-96 language is an extended CHILL language with the notions of object-orientation, concurrency, and generic type. In this paper, we discuss some design and implementation issues of ETRI CHILL-96 compiler. Renaming translation rules and function restructuring techniques are adapted for the purpose of preventing name conflict and producing debugging information. Those new extended features are preprocessed in the compilation and translated to extended CHILL intermediate codes. Such compilation technique enables ETRI CHILL-96 language to hold compatibility with software developed by CHILL language.

This paper concerns a VHDL design and simulation of an accurate and cost-effective fuzzy logic controller (FLC). The accurcy of the proposed FLC is obtained by using the center of gravity (COG) defuzzifier that considers both membership values and spans of membership functions in calculating a crisp value. The cost-effectiveness of the proposed FLC is obtained by restructuring the conventional FLC in the following ways: Firstly, the MAX-MIN inference is inference is replaced by a read-modify-write operation that can be implemented economically in the structure of register files. Secondly, the division in the COG defuzzifier is avoided by finding the moment equilibrium point. The proposed COG defuzzifier has two disadvantages that it requires additional multipliers and it takes a lot of computation time to find the moment equilibrium point. The first disadvantage is overcome by replacing the mulitpliers with stochastic AND operations and the second disadvantage is alleviated by using a coarse-to-fine searching algorithm. The proposed FLC is described in VHDL structurally and behaviorally and whether it is working well or not is checked on SYNOPSYS VHDL simulator by using the truck backer-upper control problem.

Using the premise that fashion and art reflects the characteristics of its times, this study examines the influence of Anti-form in fashion with a focus on physicality. This study combines literary survey and case analysis of both Anti-form in 1960s and 1970s and the fashion collections since 1970s when the influence of Anti-form began to appear in fashion. The influence of Anti-form focusing on physicality is summarized as deconstruction of garment and visualization of the physicality of material. Deconstruction of garment visualizes the invisible structures of garment by deconstructing, restructuring, and deforming the construction and the shapes of the garment, which is illustrated by visualization of design process, overlapping and fusing of materials, loss of stitches, and use of fabrics with flaws, questioning and destroying the sartorial conventions and aesthetic standards. Visualization of the physicality of material exposes the imperfect inside of garment which is concealed conventionally by presenting unfinished garments with minimized sewing procedure, crumpling and flattening fabrics, rubbing and fading surfaces, pulling threads, as well as using the selvages of fabrics.

Purpose: The present study concentrates on the issues that affected the employees directly and acted as stress factors. These stress factors affect how the employees perform while undertaking their duties. Furthermore, this study evaluated how the involvement of the corporate counsel affected the company by enhancing the productivity of the employees. Research design, data and methodology: The research design of this research is a literature content analysis and method for data handling should be described, and the resultant combination of the studies should include the consistency measures for every meta-analysis. Specify any risk assessment of bias that may impact the cumulative evidence, such as the publication bias and the selective reporting within studies. Results: The finding shows that change in the location of employees' organizational restructuring and the introduction of new technologies also contributed to significant organizational stress factors. These results show a substantial correlation between the magnitude of the adjustments' effects on employees' performance. Conclusions: The current study strongly concludes that counselors, through their prowess, can analyze and evaluate the stress factors that are evident among the employees and in the organization. Some of these factors may be office layout, organizational codes of ethics, organization rules, and employees' personal challenges.

The study ooramed has the meanngs as a goal, to examine a character and changes of function a "Maru" in the literatures historically. Methodically the literatures in the temporal oonsequences were selected, and the "Maru", whidl oomes into it, was interpreted in its historical oonnections. Education researchers have been continuously interested in the teacher's ability to design lessons and conducted various studies in order to improve the teacher's professionalism in determining the quality of school instruction. So, this study explored the change of instructional design through the lesson reflection of pre-service mathematics teachers who participated in practicum settings. As a result, in the lesson plan prepared by pre-service mathematics teachers, the motivation to induce learning in the introduction stage, to present the learning contents in the development stage, and to reconstruct the formative evaluation of the closing stage was the highest rate. And the categories of the reconstructed contents appeared intensively in terms of curriculum contents and teaching and learning methods. This result can be attributed to the lack of experience in designing and performing lessons by pre-service mathematics teachers, so it suggests that the opportunity to design and conduct classes that take into account the practical aspects of education should be provided in the preparation process for pre-service mathematics teachers.
