생체친화형 지르코니아 헤어커터 개발 (Development of zirconia hair cutter for biocompability)

  • 본 연구에서는 스틸 헤어커터와 비교하여 절삭성, 내식성 내마모성이 우수하고 생체친화성이 뛰어난 소재인 지르코니아($ZrO_2$)를 원료로 하는 헤어커터 개발을 위하여 설계, 성형, 소결, 연마가공 최적화를 통해 두께 0.253mm의 초박형 지르코니아 커터를 제작하였다. 커터 시편을 전자주사현미경(SEM)으로 관찰한 결과, 성형성과 절삭면 가공이 양호한 것으로 나타났으며, 절단시험을 통해 상품성이 충분한 것으로 평가되었다. 본 지르코니아 커터 가공기술 연구결과를 이용하여 면도기, 여성용 제모기, 눈썹정리기 등 고부가가치 미용기구 개발에 활용 될 수 있다.

나일론 전사 DTP 원단 전처리에 따른 발색성 및 견뢰도 특성 (Color and Fastness Properties of Nylon Transfer Digital Textile Printing(DTP) using Acrylic-based Polymer as Pre-treatment Agent)

  • In this study, when printed on a nylon material, the color strength and fastness are lower than that of a polyester material, and the nylon material shrinks due to heat and pressure, resulting in poor design and poor compatibility. To overcome this problem, we investigated the possibility of transfer DTP by adding pre-treatment process to nylon transfer DTP process. For the basic study of pre-treatment preparation, we used pure nylon material which is not compounded and dispersion ink and transfer paper applied to existing PET transfer DTP. Pre-treatment preparations were classified into three types of acryl-base polymer and pre-treated with nylon and then applied to transfer DTP to confirm their color strength and fastness. The color strength of the pre-treated nylon material increased and poly-methyl-acrylate amulsion pre-treatment showed the best color at $210^{\circ}C$, 1.5m/min and 0.3MPa. The nylon material pre-treated with washing, friction, and light fastness was judged to be more excellent and stable.

  • Cu 본딩을 이용한 웨이퍼 레벨 적층 기술은 고밀도 DRAM 이나 고성능 Logic 소자 적층 또는 이종소자 적층의 핵심 기술로 매우 중요시 되고 있다. Cu 본딩 공정을 최적화하기 위해서는 Cu chemical mechanical polishing(CMP)공정 개발이 필수적이며, 본딩층 평탄화를 위한 중요한 핵심 기술이라 하겠다. 특히 Logic 소자 응용에서는 ultra low-k 유전체와 호환성이 좋은 Ti barrier를 선호하는데, Ti barrier는 전기화학적으로 Cu CMP 슬러리에 영향을 받는 경우가 많다. 본 연구에서는 웨이퍼 레벨 Cu 본딩 기술을 위한 Ti/Cu 배선 구조의 Cu CMP 공정 기술을 연구하였다. 다마싱(damascene) 공정으로 Cu CMP 웨이퍼 시편을 제작하였고, 두 종류의 슬러리를 비교 분석 하였다. Cu 연마율(removal rate)과 슬러리에 대한 $SiO_2$와 Ti barrier의 선택비(selectivity)를 측정하였으며, 라인 폭과 금속 패턴 밀도에 대한 Cu dishing과 oxide erosion을 평가하였다.

  • 디자인산업은 국가 경쟁력의 근간이 되지만, 현재 그 성장 동력에는 한계가 나타나고 있다. 이러한 이유는 정성적 가치기반의 디자인산업의 특성으로 객관적이지 못한 평가방식이 원인이며, 이로 인하여 디자인산업의 근간이라 할 수 있는 디자인전문기업의 산업적 경쟁력을 약화시켰다. 그래서 본 연구에서는 디자인의 정성적 가치 체계를 보강하고, 디자인의 산업적 경쟁력 강화를 위하여, 디자인에 대한 객관적인 가치평가 요인을 도출하고 이러한 요인들이 디자인전문기업의 해외 경쟁력과 어떠한 관계를 가지는 지를 규명하여 우리나라 디자인산업의 독자적인 경쟁력 강화방향을 모색해 보고자 하였다. 먼저 본 연구에서는 디자인에 대한 객관적인 평가요인을 측정 평가의 계량화, 프로세스의 일관성, 프로젝트의 정합성, 논리적 설득성으로 정의하였고, 디자인전문기업의 경쟁력요인을 기업의 신뢰도와 서비스 품질로 정의하였고, 연구모형을 설정하였다. 검증 결과 대부분의 가설은 채택되었으나, 평가의 계량화는 디자인전문기업의 서비스품질에 직접적인 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 파악되었다.

A Study on Architectural Design Factors for Tall Office Buildings with Regional Climates based on Sustainability

  • Throughout history, buildings have been interrelated with certain indigenous characteristics such as regional climate, culture and religions. In particular, the control of regional climate has been primarily a concern for compatibility with nature. In our modern age, technologies to control climate have been successfully developed in architecture but the consumption of large quantities of natural resources can also produce environmental problems. This study is based on the proposition that this negative trend can be minimized with architectural design that is motivated to coexist with a regional climate. This study develops these design strategies for tall office buildings by analyzing various combinations of building design configurations based on regional climates. The objective is to determine the optimum architecture of tall office buildings during the initial design process that will reduce energy consumption for regional climatic conditions. The eQUEST energy simulating program based on DOE-2.2 was used for this comparative analysis study of the energy use in tall office buildings based on architectural design variables and different regional climates. The results are statistically analyzed and presented in functional architectural design decision-making tables and charts. As a result of the comparison of architectural design consideration for tall office buildings in relation to regional climates, buildings physically need less energy consumption when the architecture is concerned with the regional climate and it produces a more reasonable design methodology. In reality, imbalanced planning which is architectural design's lack of regional characteristics requires additional natural resources to maintain desired comfortable indoor conditions. Therefore, the application of integrated architectural design with regional nature should be the first architectural design stage and this research produces the rational. This architectural design language approach must be a starting point to sustaining long-term planning.

상용 CDDA와 하위 호환성을 가지는 고해상도 부호화방석의 제안 (A Proposal for High-Resolution Encoding System with Backward Compatibility in CDDA)

  • Conventional CDDA (Compact Disc Digital Audio) system has limitations come from sampling frequency and quantization bit, 44.1kHz and 16 bit respectively. So, new medium is developed for high-resolution audio recording, like as DVD-audio etc. But CDDA is a widely used medium for high fidelity audio yet, because new medium has complexity and difficulty in manufacturing system. In this paper, we design a new encoding system for high-resolution audio signal. The system is backward compatible with conventional CDDA. By evaluation for encoding and decoding process, we describe practicability of our proposal system.

The Estimation of Theoretical Semivariogram Adapting Genetic Algorithm for Kriging

  • In order to use Kriging, one has to estimate three parameters(nugget, sill and range) of semivariogram, which shows the relationship in the given two sites. A visual fit of the semivariogram parameters to a few standard models is widely used. But, it does not give the suitable results and not provide the automated process of Kriging. The gradient based nonlinear least squares is another choices to estimate three parameters, but it has some problems such as initial value problem. In this paper, we suggest the genetic algorithm as a compatible alternative method to solve the above mentioned problem. Finally, we estimate three parameters of semivariogram of rain-fall by adapting the genetic algorithm, compute Kriging estimate and conclude its effectiveness and compatibility.

  • Due to the strength and biocompatibility requirement, the stainless steel SUS 316L is widely used for trauma internal fixation device. SUS 316L can be hardened and strengthened only by cold work. In this work, the material compression test is performed both in laboratory and computer simulation by a FEM analysis software DEFORM to correlate the hardness to strain. This data is then used for preform design and predict the hardness of the finish bone plate forging. Finally, we compared the hardness between the actual forging and computer analysis results. Although the predicted hardness from computer simulation. is 55HV higher than the final forging sample, we can get good compatibility on the hardening tendency of cold forging.

  • In this paper, we design, implement and apply network physical layer to 100 BaseFx optical cable interface module based on industrial ethernet protocol which is physical layer of EtherCAT that has ensure its open standard ethernet compatibility which having been provided with real time of control in network of intelligent service robot, can be process numerous data to sensor and motor control system. Through BLDC motor control performance tests, we try to propose suitability as internal network of intelligent service robot and automation system.

  • One of the important topics concerning the safety of electrical and electronic system is the reliability of the wiring system. The Time-Frequency Domain Reflectometry(TFDR) is a state-of-the-art system for detection and estimation of the fault on a wiring/cable. The purpose of this paper is to implement a Labview based TFDR Real Time system though the instruments of PCI extensions for Instrumentation(PXI). The TFDR Real Time system consists of the five parts: Reference signal design, signal generation, signal acquisition, algorithm execution, results diplay part. In the signal generation and acquisition parts we adopt the Arbitrary Waveform Generator(AWG) and Digital Storage Oscilloscope(DSO) PXI modules which offer commonality, compatibility and easy integration at low cost. And execution of the PXI modules not only is controlled by the Labview programing but also the total system process is executed by the Labview application software.
