플레이트형 지지구조체로 지지된 실린더형 관 군의 고주파 유동유발진동 및 압력손실에 대한 실험적 고찰 (Experimental investigation on the high frequency flow-induced vibration and pressure drop of cylindrical tube bundle with plate type supporting structures)

  • A plate type supporting structure of a tube bundle in axial flow generates a certain band of a high frequency periodic excitation of a vortex shedding and/or a flow separation due to sharp edge of the plate thickness and a severe pressure drop due to a cross-sectional area of the supports. With a design consideration of the low vibration and a small flow resistance, the analysis method is uniquely confined to an experimental approach because a complex geometry of a cylindrical tube bundle and/or physical phenomena related to the fluid-structure interaction of tube bundle in a flow impede a theoretical or a numerical approach. A 5x5 cylindrical tube bundle with 5 supports which were discretely located along the bundle's axis was tested in the FIVPET hydraulic test loop for a design evaluation and an analysis perspectives. A high frequency flow-induced vibration of the supporting structures of the cylindrical tube bundle was measured at a outer surface of a supporting structure through a transparent flow housing by the laser dopper vibrometer. Pressure drop in-between three measurement distances was measured by the differential pressure transmitter. High frequency vibration and pressure drop fairly depends on the geometric design of supporting structure. So, these two parameters would be used as a qualitative design variables for design evaluation and analysis.

빈도별 확률강우량을 초과하는 시간강우사상의 특성 분석 (Characteristics Analyses of Timely Rainfall Events Above Probability Precipitation on Each Frequency)

  • 홍수피해를 줄이기 위해 적정한 설계빈도에 맞는 치수대책을 수립한다. 일반적으로 설계빈도는 지역의 현황, 중요도뿐만 아니라 확률강우량 등을 반영한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 최근 10년간 주요 호우사상에 의해 홍수피해가 발생한 지역을 대상으로 지속시간별로 최대강우량의 빈도를 산정하였다. 그리고 빈도별 확률강우량을 초과하는 강우사상의 시간적 특성을 분석하기 위해 초과강우량과 초과횟수 및 단위초과강우량을 산정하여 변동성과 경향성 분석을 수행하였다. 또한 강우관측소의 위치와 시간강우량 특성을 이용해 군집분석을 실시하고 강우관측소를 군집화 하였다. 군집된 지역을 대상으로 평균초과강우량과 평균초과횟수 및 평균단위초과강우량을 산정하였고, 군집지역별 초과강우량과 초과횟수에 대해 변동성 및 경향성을 분석을 실시하여 시간적 변화를 비교하였다.

선회 고유진동수와 안정성을 고려한 회전자-베어링 시스템의 중량 최적설계 (Optimal Weight Design of Rotor-Bearing Systems Considering Whirl Natural Frequency and Stability)

  • The objective of this study is to minimize the weight of a damped anisotropic roto-bearing system considering whirl natural frequency and stability. The system is modeled as an assemblage of rigid disks, flexible shafts and discrete bearings. The system design variables are the crosssectional areas of shaft elements and the properties of bearings. To analyze the system, the polynomial method which is derived by rearranging the calculations performed by a transfer matrix method is adopted. For the optimization, the optimization software IDOL (Integrated Design Optimization Library) which is based on the Augmented Lagrange Multiplier (ALM) method is employed. Also, an analytical design sensitivity analysis of the system is used for high accuracy and efficiency. To demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed optimal design program incorporating analysis, design sensitivity analysis, and optimization modules, a damped anisotropic rotor-bearing system is optimized to obtain 34$ weight reduction.

  • This paper describes the development process of steering system for reduce idle vibration through the data level of frequency and sensitivity. High stiffness and light weight vehicle is a major target in the refinement of passenger cars to meet customers' contradictable requirements between NVH performance and fuel economy. The target frequency of the steering system is set by benchmarking of a competitive vehicle and the vibration mode map is used to separate steering column modes from resonance of body structure and engine idle rpm. This paper descirbes the analysis approach process for high stiffness of steering system and the design guideline is suggested about steering column and support system by using mother car at initial design stage. We used a patent map in order to analyze accurately a technical trend and suggested the design process using dynamic damper of steering system considering sensitivity. And we established techniques of analysis on steering system and evaluated the level of accuracy of analysis through correlating the test and analysis results. It makes possible to design the good NVH performance vehicle at initial design stage and save vehicles to be used in tests. These improvements can lead to shortening the time needed to develop better vehicles.

  • Consumers' expenditure is getting larger on children due to their parents' compensation for increase of double-income family life and decrease of birth rate caused by high economic growth. Increase of demand on children items in the market leads the necessity of development of furniture for children. This study is aimed to design children chairs that meet the environment for children. In this study, the age of children is defined to be 5~7 years old. In order to investigate what causes environment change, this study covers roughly change of environment, change of learning program and use of environment-friendly material. In such scope, we drew out the factors that the chairs for children shall be equipped with. Case studies were done through such drawn factors. The scope of the furniture for children is limited to the chairs for children among the ones made in either Korea or overseas. As a result, we could draw out such keyword of the furniture as storage, mobility, environment-friendly, object style image, preferred color, functionality and safety, based on which we could plan the design and make the final result through high frequency round molding manufacturing process.

  • LC출력필터는 동적전압보상기(DVR)의 인버터 스위칭에 따른 전압리플을 억제하는 반면에, 전압제어 밴드폭에 제한을 가져온다. 이러한 두 조건을 만족시키기 위한 LC출력펄터의 컷오프 주파수 설계에 대하여는 지금까지 많은 연구가 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 적절히 설계 되어진 필터의 컷오프 주파수에 대하여 무한히 많은 수의 L-C 조합이 가능하며 그에 따라 서로 다른 특성이 나타나지만, 지금까지 분명한 해석적인 기초가 없이 현장의 경험에 의존한 설계를 하여 왔다. 본 논문은 DVR의 크기를 최소화 하면서 우수한 제어성능을 유지할 수 있는 LC출력필터의 설계 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 LC출력필터의 설계에 기초한 DVR 시스템을 구성하여 실험에 의하여 이론을 증명한다.

유전체 공진기를 이용한 Ka-band용 Push-push 발진기의 설계 및 구현 (Design and Fabrication of Ka-band Push-push oscillator Using Dielectric Resonator)

  • In this paper, the Ka-band Dielectric resonator oscillator has been designed and fabricated. The resonator network was simulated using HFSS program. The design method of an oscillator is the small-signal S-parameter design. The Push-push DRO employs a hetero junction FET (NE32484A). The fabricated Push-push DRO shows such characteristics as the phase noise -106 ㏈c/Hz at the 100 ㎑ frequency offset. the output power and fundamental frequency surpression were -6 ㏈m and -29 ㏈c, respectively.

  • Previous antenna design formula produce some errumenous resulitat the high frequency(above x-band.) This is because of the dispersion effect. Surface wave and higher order modes We propose exact design formula which gives errors less then 0.5% at the above x-band Exper imental investigations also prove the exactness of the proposed formual Further investigations should be done to give the relations between surface wave poles higer mides and resonant frequency.

  • Dynamic modelling and controller design technique for constant-frequency series resonant converter with buck type preregulator are mainly described in this paper. An equivalent circuit model is derived and a state equation is developed from this model. To improve the dynamic performance, a negative feedback of inductor current is added to the proportional and integral control of output voltage. Furthermore, an optimization technique with prescribed eigenvalue region is applied to the determination of feedback gains. With the presented design method, much better dynamic performance can be obtained.

  • This paper presents a Matlab toolbox for proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller design. By means of the tool, the complete set of controllers simultaneously satisfying multiple design specifications such as stability and robust stability margins can be obtained directly from the only frequency response data on the plant.
