This article presents a new design of earthquake instrumentation that is suitable for quick decision-making after the seismic event at the nuclear power plant (NPP). The main objective of this work is to ensure more availability of the NPP by expediting walk-down period when the seismic wave is incident. In general, the decision-making to restart the NPP after the seismic event requires more than 1 month if an earthquake exceeds operating basis earthquake level. It affects to the plant availability significantly. Unnecessary shutdown can be skipped through quick assessments of operating basis earthquake, safe shutdown earthquake events, and damage status to structure, system, and components. Multidecision parameters such as cumulative absolute velocity, peak ground acceleration, Modified Mercalli Intensity Scale, floor response spectrum, and cumulative fatigue are discussed. The implementation scope on the field-programmable gate array platform of this work is limited to cumulative absolute velocity, peak ground acceleration, and Modified Mercalli Intensity. It can ensure better availability of the plant through integrated decision-making process by automatic assessment of NPP structure, system, and components.

This paper with the development and analysis of a quantitative model for reducing operating budgets of the academic units of small private university, while reflecting the diverse goals of the university. A zero-one goal programming approach is used to design and implement the model for budgetary decision making. The goal programming model can facilitate academic planning and decision-making by providing valuable information.

Recently, multiple criteria decision making has been well established as a practical approach to seek a satisfactory solution to a decision making problem. Goal programming is one of the most powerful MCDM tools with satisfying operational assumptions that reflect the actual decision making process in real-world situations. In this paper we propose an efficient method implemented on a microcomputer for solving linear goal programming problems. It is an iterative revised goal simplex method using the sparsity technique. We design as interactive software package for microcomputers based on this method. From some computational experiences, we can state that the revised iterative goal simplex method using the sparsity technique is the most efficient one for microcomputer for solving goal programming problems.

In this paper, the optimal decision making strategy for resource management is viewed in terms of a combined strategy of planting and producing time. A model which can be used to determine the optimal management strategy is developed, and focuses on how to design the operation of a Markov chain so as to optimize its performance. This study estimated a dynamic stochastic model to compare alternative production style and used the net present value of returns to evaluate the scenarios. The managers in this study may be able to increase economic returns by delaying produce in order to market larder, more valuable commodities.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of demographics and general buying characteristics of knitwear consumers on their buying decision-making process. In this study, a self-administered questionnaire was distributed to young career women and female undergraduate students. of 580 questionnaires, 496 were used in the following analysis. The data was analyzed with SPSS package. T-test, one-way ANOVA and x² analysis were used to investigate the impact of characteristics of the consumers on their demographics. The high school graduate-career women group, relative to other groups, showed significant differences in practical aspects in buying knitwear. Second, the knitwear buying places of consumers were significantly different depending on the demographics and general buying characteristics of knitwear. The higher annual knitwear buying expenses and the lower knitwear buying frequency, the more a consumer shopped in department stores. Third, the knitwear satisfaction level of consumers was significantly different depending on their demographics and general buying characteristics of knitwear. career women relative to female undergraduate students showed significant differences in satisfaction with design, quality and yarns.

The importance of efficient Supply Chain Management is increasing in accordance with recent industrial environment, such as globalization of business, complexity and diversity of company's management structure, and variety of customer's demand. In a rapidly changed environment of business, quick and efficient decision making is the important matter to the survival of the company. The purpose of this study supports decision making for efficient supply chain management. In this study, we consider simultaneously and mutually reflecting the preference of each constituent (Supplier, Manufacturing plant, Distribution center, Customer) on supply chain network, and decide company's strategic choice and coordinated production/distribution models of company. The Analytical Hierarchy Process is used for decision making of qualitative and quantitative elements. We use the results of AHP as inputs and propose mathematical models thru Mixed Integer Programming.

충분한 디자인 전문인력을 갖추지 못한 중소기업에서 부적절한 제품디자인 개발과정으로 인하여 시간, 비용, 생산적 측면에서 많은 낭비와 시행착오가 발생하고 있다. 특히 디자인 프로세스에서 가장 중시하는 구상단계의 디자인 컨셉 도출이나 전개단계의 스케치 및 렌더링의 진행을 통한 의사결정에 있어서 객관적이고, 과학적인 접근방법은 제고되지 않고 있으며, 이의 개선을 위한 연구도 매우 드물다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 체계적이지 못한 의사결정단계의 보완 및 정량화 된 데이터의 산출을 통한 리스크 감소를 위해 디자인 프로세스의 전개단계 및 결정단계에 AHP기법과 쌍대분석법의 개념을 적용하였다. AHP기법의 기본 개념은 쌍대비교에서 출발한다. 일반적으로 인간은 절대적 판단보다는 상대적 판단에 의한 의사결정을 보다 효율적으로 수행할 수 있으며, 쌍대비교는 이와 같은 인간 특성에 바탕을 두고 스케치 대안들을 두개의 대안끼리 짝을 지어 비교하는 상대적 비교개념을 사용하고 있다. 따라서 디자이너들의 디자인 스케치 대안비교에 있어서 보다 효율적인 판단을 유도할 수 있으며 여러 대안들에 대한 평가를 일관성 있게 수행할 수 있도록 도와줌으로서 의사결정의 효율향상과 최종 디자인 선택시의 리스크를 상당부분 감소시킬 수 있는 것이다. 그리고 각 대안들의 정량적인 순위를 도출하고 여러 감성적인 디자인 결과물들에 대하여 100% 정확한 디자인 대안의 선택은 아니지만 여러 디자인 대안들의 필터링과 의사결정을 수 행함에 있어서 기존의 방법보다는 개선되어 정량적이고 일관적인 기준을 제공해주는 것이며, 상당부분에 있어서 개성과 감성의 차를 극복하는 효율적인 방법이 될 것이고 연구 의의도 여기에 있다 하겠다. 끝으로 품질개선을 위한 기법적용의 연구결과에 대해서는 실제 디자인 개발 아이템의 사례연구를 통하여 타당성을 검증하고, 이상의 품질 개선을 위한 기법이 적용된 이상적인 신 프로세스를 제안하고자 한다.

정보기술을 통한 건설산업의 관리 체계화와 생산성 증대 및 경쟁력 제고를 위해서는 우선적으로 건설업체에서 구축 $\cdot$ 활용하고 있는 정보시스템의 활용특성에 대한 체계적인 정리가 필요하다. 특히, 건설의사결정측면에서 건설데이터를 활용한 고급분석기술인 의시결정지원기술에 대한 전략적이며 체계적인 적용모델을 적립할 필요성이 대두되고 있다. 즉, 건설업체의 정보시스템에 대한 구축 수준을 파악하고 건설의사결정지원과 관련된 문제점을 도출해 낼 수 있는 합리적인 분석틀을 통해 건설정보시스템의 전략적 활용 방안에 대한 기초적인 연구가 필요하다. 이를 위하여 기존 연구들을 바탕으로 푹적된 데이터의 부가가치를 높일 수 있는 대안으로서 의사결정을 지원하기 위한 정보시스템 활용특성 모델을 제안하고 사례연구를 통하여 그 타당성을 검증하였다. 본 연구를 통하여 건설업계의 의사결정지원기술에 대한 인식제고와 건설조직에서 활용하고 있는 정보시스템의 적극적 활용의 대안의 기초를 마련하고자 한다.

Purpose: This study aims to analyze the confirmation the purchase decision of community enterprise products, such information is an important issue for community enterprise entrepreneurs to develop a marketing strategy through the purchasing decision of community enterprise products Research design, data and methodology: The research was designed by using mixed methods research (exploratory design), starting with in-depth interviews of consumers of community enterprise products to determine the reasons for their purchase decisions. The researcher then used the data from the in-depth interviews to create a questionnaire for consumers of community enterprise products. These data were used to analyze the confirmation components of such elements. Results: The analysis found the following. 1. Decision-making is based on a product 2. Decision-making is based on social context considerations Conclusions: Develop an image to make a difference between community enterprise entrepreneurs and general entrepreneurs for distribution. The local wisdom, it is a local intellectual resource. It should be used in adjusting or blending old knowledge with new knowledge together appropriately. Creating community participation, love, unity, and the sympathy of the people in the community can help in participation in the operation of community enterprises.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the school location decision factor with land use planning and urban design. And this research proposed the school location decision factor for urban amenity. This research proved the fact that the school land correlated with the park, the other school land etc. And this result will be used in decision-making-process of land use planning, public land development construction oriental, urban design and city policy.
