A Study on the Introduction of Fuzzy system into the Decision-Making process of HVAC designers

  • This study is designed to grope for logical methods in the decision-making process of human beings such as creation and analysis. With this in mind, the paper worked with a process where the designers of a design team gather and analyze their opinions in a design process to decide on the HVAC system of buildings. The paper introduced the fuzzy theory, or one of the methods to quantitatively describe language values with ambiguous features, suggesting a method to determine the judgement and suggestion values of the HVAC designers with the characteristics of language variables as the values of design factors greatly influencing the HVAC system. As a result, the paper tested the possibility of the fuzzy system as a logical method to gather the judgement of HVAC designers in a stage of HVAC type selection exerting a great influence on the experience and judgement of the designers and having powerful linguistic features and to determine an appropriate HVAC type which can satisfy the suggested values of related design factors.

  • Industrial design aiming the mutual benefit of both user and manufacturer demands grasping and analyzing the needa and wants of consumer for the establishrment of the optimum plan and production by attribute oriented approach. Inspite of its usefulness, however, it might be impossible to help industrial designers to develop a new product effectively without full understanding of industrial design activity in attributes of products and using the appropriate methodology for grasping the main attributes. This thesis is purposed for developing the guideline of research models of consumer for industrial design by studying characteristics of industrial design activity in attributes of products through bibliography and defining the clear limit of design research focused on consumer selection through comparison with real purchase decision making procedure at every phase. Through the observation and analysis of the real purchase decision making procedure following the proposed guideline, the possibility of difference between the two cases has been shown in both theoretical and practical aspects.

옴니채널 쇼핑동기가 패션제품 구매의사결정단계별 소비자의 옴니채널 전략 소구에 미치는 영향 연구 (Influences of omni-channel shopping motivations on consumer acceptance of omni-channel strategies through fashion product purchasing processes)

  • As fashion and distribution companies have increasingly turned to implementing marketing activities that use omni-channel strategies, it is imperative to explore consumer-oriented evaluations of omni-channel shopping for fashion products. Through contributing to the growing research flow of consumer behavior within omni-channel contexts, the current study explores consumer motivations for omni-channel fashion shopping and their impacts on the decision-making stages of fashion products. The authors first performed in-depth interviews with six Korean consumers and confirmed the four types of consumer motivation for omni-channel shopping, and how decision-making processes react to fashion companies' omni- channel marketing strategies. These findings were used to set survey items for the main study. Based on the results and findings of previous literature, an online survey was conducted with 300 participants who had actual experience with omni-channel shopping for fashion products. The statistic results from the survey revealed the following: First, the in-depth interviews allowed the authors to confirm four factors of omni-channel shopping motivation (ubiquity, efficiency, convenience, and impulsiveness). Second, the survey showed the authors that among the four factors of omni-channel shopping orientation, impulsiveness had the greatest effect on consumer behaviors at the preand on-purchase stages, while the ubiquity factor had the greatest effect at the post-purchase stage. As such, the study empirically tested the omni-channel-specific factors of shopping orientation and motivation. In addition, it showed the effect of omni-channel marketing on various stages of the decision- making process and the study's limitations and implications were discussed.

적정 설계변경안 선정을 위한 의시결정 지원 프로세스 (Decision Making Process for Alternative Selection of Proper Design Change in Construction Project)

  • 정부기관은 공사계획단계 및 시공 중 발생하는 설계변경으로 인한 공사비 증가가 23,663억 원에 달하는 것으로 발표한바 있다. 설계변경은 표준화가 어려운 건축설계의 특성으로 인해 발생하는 현상으로 발주자의 요구사항변경, 관련 제도, 설계 부적정, 현장여건 등 건설프로젝트 전반에 걸쳐 그 원인이 존재하기 때문에 기본설계 및 중간설계 단계에서 완벽한 설계를 한다 하더라도 설계변경을 예방하고 감소시키는 데에는 한계가 있다. 또한 공사계획 및 시공단계에서 단편적 인 검토만으로 설계변경안을 선정하는 현행 관리프로세스는 또 다른 설계변경을 유발시켜 재시공과 그에 따른 공사비 증가의 주된 원인이 되고 있어, 공사계획 및 시공 중 발생한 설계변경에 효율적으로 대처하는 방안이 요구되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 CM 발주방식의 건축프로젝트를 대상으로 건설사업관리자가 프로젝트 수행 중 발생하는 설계변경에 대하여 다수의 설계변경안을 비용, 성능, 시공성 측면에서 복합적이고 정량적으로 평가하여 적정 설계변경안을 선정할 수 있는 의사결정지원 프로세스의 논리구조와 기본모형을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the school location decision direction for land use planning of public land development. And this research proposed the school location decision direction for urban amenity. So this research present the implication on urban planning and design for architecture, park-school complex. This study perform the relationship with land use planning out side environment of school land. This research proved the fact that the school land relationship with the park, the other school land etc. And this result will be used in decision-making-process of land use planning, public land development construction, urban design and city policy.

  • This paper presents a design of the fuzzy decision maker which infers set value for fuel rate in the rotary kiln of making CaO. The fuzzy decision maker proposed are divided into two groups whose functions are different each other. The one operates when production demand is constant. The other deals with the status of varying production demand. We have chosen several variables used for composing condition and action part by investigating ingerent features of the rotary kiln and skilled operators`manual method of inferring fuel rate. Membership function of each variable was designed by analyzing experimental data and field data collected during two months. On-line operation with fuzzy rules suggested was done safely like human operators' action.

  • The purpose of this study is to design the framework of DSS (Decision Support System) for drought mitigation with internet and web interface. The users who apart from central government always connect to its main server via iternet. And web interface and browser operable models make it possible to analze data related with drought and planning for drought mitigation . Thereby, it need to build a database system , which manages data update from the users, and develop java-applet programs to assist decision making. The framework of DSS might be nicely adapted to the planning and decision making for the agricultural drought migigation.

Dynamic System Modeling for Closed Loop Supply Chains System

  • The need for holistic modeling efforts for returns that capture the extended closed loop supply chain (CLSC) system at strategic as well as operational level has been clearly recognized by the industry and academia. Strategic decision-makers need comprehensive models that can guide them in efficient decision-making to increase the profitability of the entire forward and return chain. Therefore, determination of a near optimal design configuration, which includes the environmental, economical and technological capability factors, is important in strategic decision-making effort that affect the profitability of the closed loop supply chain. In this paper, we adopted an improved system dynamics methodology to tackle strategic issues that affect various performance measures, like market, time/cost, environment etc., for closed loop supply chains. After studying real life implementation issues in CLSC design, we presented guidelines for the PBM (Participative Business Modeling) methodology and presented its extension for the strategic dynamic system modeling of return chains. Finally, we demonstrated the measurement of operational performance by extending SD (system dynamic) application to closed loop supply chain management.

소비자 자신감과 패션연출 자신감이 중고패션제품에 대한 태도와 구매의도에 미치는 영향 (Influence of Consumer Self-confidence and Self-confidence in Fashion Coordination on Attitude toward Secondhand Fashion Goods and Purchase Intention of Secondhand Fashion Goods)

  • This study examined the influence of consumer self-confidence and self-confidence in fashion coordination on the attitude toward secondhand fashion goods and the purchase intention of secondhand fashion goods. Questionnaire data from 346 university students were analyzed and the results were summarized as follows. First, there were five factor solutions in consumer self-confidence: information acquisition, personal outcomes decision making, social outcomes decision making, consideration-set information, persuasion knowledge. Second, information acquisition, social outcomes decision making, and consideration-set information had significant effects on self-confidence in fashion coordination, while personal outcomes decision making and persuasion knowledge had no effect on self-confidence in fashion coordination. Third, self-confidence in fashion coordination had a significant effect on attitude toward secondhand fashion goods however, it had no effect on purchase intention of secondhand fashion goods. Fourth, attitude toward secondhand fashion goods had a significant effect on the purchase intention of secondhand fashion goods. The results show diverse implications for marketers and managers of secondhand fashion goods.
