This paper presents the design and implementation of a pipelined architecture and a method for real-time human detection using depth image from a Time-of-Flight (ToF) camera. In the proposed method, we use Euclidean Distance Transform (EDT) in order to extract human body location, and we then use the 1D, 2D scanning window in order to extract human joint location. The EDT-based human extraction method is robust against noise. In addition, the 1D, 2D scanning window helps extracting human joint locations easily from a distance image. The proposed method is designed using Verilog HDL (Hardware Description Language) as the dedicated hardware architecture based on pipeline architecture. We implement the dedicated hardware architecture on a Xilinx Virtex6 LX750 Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA). The FPGA implementation can run 80 MHz of maximum operating frequency and show over 60fps of processing performance in the QVGA ($320{\times}240$) resolution depth image.

This study is to explore effective implementation strategies of elective-based curriculum in high schools, and to infer some implications for the improvement of school facilities. For the purpose, this study did three things. First, it tried to find the degree to which students are provided with the courses they want to take for the elective-based curriculum. Second, it explored effective implementation strategies of elective-based curriculum in high schools with the introduction of students' 'pre-application and lottery-allotted system' of high school admission. Third, it tried to infer the changed policy's implications for the improvement of school facilities. As a result of the study, three points are to be emphasized for the future plan and design of high school facilities. First, different school facilities are needed for each school because each school would implement different types of school curricula. Second, schools should be provided with different sized classrooms and different number of classrooms because three different types of students are assigned for each school as a result of new students' allocation policy. Third, new measures should be taken to provide students who are assigned to unwanted schools with opportunities to take courses outside their schools because students assigned by lottery system cannot have so much opportunity as students who are allocated to chosen schools.

소프트웨어 개발과정에서 사용자 요구사항을 정확히 만족하기 위해서는 사용자 관점에서 요구사항을 검증하기 위한 방법이 필요하다. 이것은 사용자의 요구사항이 시스템 개발자에게 적절히 반영되어 사용자가 요구하는 고품질의 소프트웨어 시스템을 더 효과적으로 설계하고 구현할 수 있기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 시스템 구현 전 단계에서 사용자 요구사항을 효율적으로 검증할 수 있는 RV-UI 모델 시스템을 제안한다. RV-UI 모델 시스템은 상용화된 사용자 인터페이스를 프로세스별 기능 모델로 표준화하여 구성하였고, Kano의 모델을 적용한 인터페이스를 통해 명화한 사용자 요구사항의 검증과 체계적인 요구사항의 형상관리를 가능하도록 설계 하였다.

본 논문은 Diameter 기반 AAA 시스템에서 Mobile-lP 응용과 연동하는 선불 서비스의 설계 및 구현에 대하여 기술하였다. 선불 서비스 기능은 Diameter의 Credit-Control 응용에 기반 하였으며, Credit-Control 응용은 기존의 RADIUS 과금 방식이나 Diameter 베이스 프로토콜의 과금 방식이 지원하지 않는 선불 과금 서비스를 제공하기 위한 응용 기능이다. 실시간 선불 서비스 기능은 실시간 서비스 비용 결정과 서비스를 제공하기 위한 사용자의 계정 잔액 확인 절차 등과 같은 추가의 기능들을 요구한다. 본 논문에서는 위와 같은 추가의 기능들을 지원할 수 있도록, Mobile-lP 응용 서비스인 Diameter Mobile-lP 응용과 연동하는 Diameter Credit-Control 응용의 설계와 구현에 대하여 기술한다.

This paper describes a hardware implementation method of a Petri Net-based controller. A flexible and systematic implementation method, based on look-up tables, is suggested, which enables to build high speed Petri net-based controllers. The suggested method overcomes the inherent speed limit that arises from the microprocessors by using of matrix-based look-up tables. Based on the matrix framework, this paper suggests various specific data path structures as well as a basic data path structure, accompanied by evolution algorithms, for sub-class Petri nets. A new sub-class Petri net, named Biarced Petri Net, resolves memory explosion problem that usually comes with matrix-based look-up tables. The suggested matrix-based method based on the Biarced Petri net has as good efficiency and expendability as the list-based methods. This paper shows the usefulness of the suggested method, evaluating the size of the look-up tables and introducing an architecture of the signal processing unit of a programmable controller. The suggested implementation method is supported by an automatic design support program.

본 연구에서는 공리적 설계 방법론을 기반으로 조선소의 블록 물류 운영 시스템을 효과적으로 설계하는 방법을 다룬다. 체계적인 설계를 위하여 블록 물류 운영 시스템의 독립적인 기능 요구를 정의하고 이를 만족시키는 설계 파라미터를 정의한다. 그리고 기능 요구들과 설계 파라미터들 사이의 상관관계를 고려하여 구현 순서를 결정한다. 설계 결과는 IDEF0 모델링을 이용하여 제시하였다. 설계된 시스템은 국내 한 조선소에서 구현되었으며, 현장에 적용되고 있는 사례를 분석하여 함의를 도출한다.

Concepts, methods and tools for interactive CAD-based concurrent engineering design optimization of mechanical/structural systems and components which are critical in terms of cost development time, functionality and quality, are presented. The emphasis is on implementation of methods and capabilities for the optimization of composite structural system, and the integration of design process and manufacturing process of composite structures into standard CAD-based concurrent engineering environment The optimization of composite fuselage structures are performed under concurrent engineering environment for the example.

본 연구에서는 보다 효율적이고 지능적으로 운영될 수 있는 미래형 우편접수창구를 구축하기 위한 계획을 수립한다. 현황분석을 위해 우선 사용자의 요구사항을 정의하고 현행 문제점과 각종 이슈를 분석하며, 선진국의 다양한 우편서비스 제공기관에 대한 선진사례분석을 수행한다. 선행된 현황분석과 선진사례분석 결과를 기반으로 미래형 우편접수창구에 대한 기념적 모형을 설계한다. 제안된 모형은 무인우편창구, 다량우편창구, 통합우편창구로 대별할 수 있으며, 비효율과 부정확성을 제거하기 위해 정보기술과 자동화기술을 적용함으로써 우편접수 업무가 보다 효율적으로 수행될 수 있도록 설계되었다. 이후 제안된 개념적 모형의 구축을 위한 추진과제를 정의하고, 개별과제에 대한 실행우선순위를 결정하기 위해 현업담당자와 관련 전문가의 설문을 통해 과제들의 중요도와 선후행관계를 평가한 후, 최종적으로 우편접수창구에 대한 구축계획을 수립하였다. 본 연구에서 제시된 구축계획을 바탕으로 향후 보다 효율적이고 효과적인 우편접수창구를 구축할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

본 논문은 Seam 프레임워크 환경에서 안드로이드 스마트폰 기반의 모바일 웹앱 오피스 JPetStore 주문시스템의 설계 및 구현을 하는데 목적이 있다. 현재까지 경량 컨테이너 아키텍처로 현업에서 많이 잘 알려진 아키텍처로 Seam 프레임워크가 있다. 그러나 Seam 프레임워크 환경에서 모바일 웹앱 오피스의 분석 및 설계를 통한 구현 사례는 없었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 Seam 환경에서 안드로이드 기반으로 모바일 웹앱 오피스 JPetStore 주문시스템을 분석 및 설계한 후 구현함으로써 모바일 웹앱 오피스의 개발을 위한 참고 방향을 제공하고자 한다.
