Purpose - Although ensuring that all the organizational members know their roles exactly is an important part of managerial work, few studies address the role clarity in food manufacturing and distribution firms. Role clarity refers to the extent to which individuals clearly understand the tasks, duties, responsibilities, and expectations of their work roles (Hinkin & Schriesheim, 2008). The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the role clarity on organizational commitment and the mediating role of creativity in the role clarity-organizational commitment relationship. Research design, data, and methodology - Data were collected from 297 employees in food manufacturing and distribution firms of Korea by self-evaluations questionnaires. The unit of the analysis for testing is an individual. We proposed four hypotheses: (1) is about the relationship between role clarity and organizational commitment, (2) is about the relationship between role clarity and creativity, (3) is about the relationship between creativity and organizational commitment, and (4) is about the mediating role of creativity. We conducted the hierarchical regression analysis for testing the main and mediating effects. Results - The results of the study indicated that the role clarity was positively associated with organizational commitment and creativity. Results also indicated that the creativity was positively associated with organizational commitment. Especially, the impact of the role clarity on organizational commitment was mediated by creativity. Conclusions - An important contribution of this study is extending prior theory on the relationship between role clarity and organizational commitment by shedding new light on assumptions regarding the mediating effect of creativity. The results demonstrate that the role clarity has an indirect effect as well as a direct effects on organizational commitment. Our research suggests important implications for organizations that pursue to stimulate their employees' creativity, emphasizing the importance of the role clarity. This study has several potential limitations. Maybe the most serious limitation is its cross-sectional study design. Another limitation is the use of employees' self-reports to measure the variables. In the future, researchers should employ a longitudinal study design and use diverse sources of data.

The duty of construction clients in WSH (Workplace Safety and Health) system was included in the amendment of Occupational Safety and Health Act (enforced on 16 January 2020), which was estimated the shift of paradigm in the prevention of construction accidents. The purpose of this paper is to introduce the analysis results of construction clients' role in the construction project, which were performed by authors over the recent years in order to impose the duty on construction clients, and to suggest their role according the plan, design, and construction stage. Utilizing the systematic literature review process based on Meta analysis, the related papers were selected. For the selected papers, related domestic and foreign regulations, and other prominent report, the construction clients' role was analyzed by reflecting the experts' advice. Results show that the construction clients should control the designer and contractor for implementing the WHS system during the whole process of the construction project. They should supply sufficient source and time to ensure the workers' safety. In the plan stage, the key role of construction clients is to identify intensively controlled hazard and risk reduction plan and to transfer the results. In the design stage, their key role is to select the designer with the capacity in WSH and to assist the designer for the safety design. The main key role of construction clients in the costruction stage is to select the contractor with specialty in WSH including a contract reflecting the WSH requirement and to check implementation of WSH plan, WSH cost, WSH education, and accident report. In addition, it is thought that the construction clients' participations in the site WSH activity and adjustment of safety and health problem among contractors can be effect in the prevention of construction accidents.

Purpose: This study was done to identify types of gender role identity in female adolescents and to investigate the relationship between types of gender role identity and depression. Method: The research design for this study was a descriptive survey design using convenience sampling. Data were collected through self report questionnaires from 1,497 female high school students in Seoul. Data were analyzed using SPSS 10.0 program. Results: The androgyny gender role identity was most common (33.9%). Of the types of gender role identity that had a significant relationship with depression. androgyny gender role identity had the lowest significant relationship to level of depression level, followed by masculinity, femininity, and undifferentiated type. Conclusion: It is necessary that nurses provide interventions to help female adolescents develop gender role identity toward androgyny.

The kinetic façade system is an interactive building envelope which is adaptive to environmental condition by transforming the behaviour of its components. The design process of kinetic façade system calls for a novel approach. It needs to support designers to adopt technologies from multidisciplinary fields such as physical computing and robotics. In this paper, prototyping method is introduced as a useful technique for implementing kinetic façade systems. In order to incorporate prototyping method into architectural design process, two aspects are investigated in digital design studio: (1) The interactions between digital and analogue environments (2) The role of traditional design tools. Furthermore, the role of BIM is investigated by analyzing two aspects.

본 연구에서는 중국고대신화에 등장하는 문화원형이미지들의 활동내용을 바탕으로 선악(善惡)사상에 대입하여 분류하고 오늘날 롤플레잉게임의 NPC로서의 선(善)과 악(惡)의 캐릭터에 활용 사례를 살펴봄으로써 신화에 등장하는 문화원형이미지들의 상징적인 형상성이 게임의 캐릭터 디자인에 적용되는 현황을 분석한다.

본 연구는 초등학교에서 교사를 도와 수업을 진행하는 교사보조로봇의 디자인에 관한 것으로, 단순히 아동이 좋아하는 로봇 디자인을 제안하는 것이 아닌 교사보조로봇이라는 역할에 부합되는 이미지를 찾는 것에 주안점을 두고 있다. 그렇게 하기 위해 교사보조로봇의 역할에 부합되는 교사상에는 어떤 것들이 있는지 문헌조사를 하고, 이를 통해 얻어진 교사상들을 교사와 교생을 대상으로 설문조사를 하여 그룹을 짓고 우선순위를 정해 교사보조로봇의 역할 이미지를 정립하였다. 이 역할 이미지와 기본적 형용사를 기준으로 아동에게 기존의 로봇들을 이미지를 매핑 하도록 하여, 아동이 각 로봇의 외형 특징에 대해 어떻게 느끼는가, 역할 이미지를 발현하려면 어떤 외형을 가져야 하는가를 알아내고자 하였다. 또한 워크샵을 통해 아동이 직접 자신이 생각하는 교사보조로봇을 표현할 수 있도록 하고, 아동이 생각하는 교사보조로봇의 키와 위치도 조사하였다. 이러한 조사들을 바탕으로 3가지의 교사보조로봇 디자인 가이드라인을 추출하였다.

Purpose: This study aimed to implement safe and suitable kangaroo mother care with healthy mothers and newborns immediately after childbirth. In addition, it aimed to assess its effects on maternal attachment, maternal role confidence, and maternal role satisfaction. Research design, data and methodology: A quasi-experimental design was used with pre and posttests. A total of 58 participants were selected by convenience sampling through public notifications at a women's hospital. The control group performed routine care without providing kangaroo contact, and a posttest was performed four weeks after the pretest. The experimental group comprised healthy mothers who had given birth by cesarean section. They performed kangaroo mother care twice a day (60 min each) for four weeks for their newborns after the protocol was validated by an expert. Results: The results showed significantly higher maternal attachment, maternal role confidence, and maternal role satisfaction in mothers who participated in kangaroo mother care than those who did not. Our findings suggested that kangaroo mother care has a positive effect on the enhancement of maternal attachment and facilitation of maternal role confidence and satisfaction. Conclusions: Thus, the expansion and implementation of kangaroo mother care are necessary to promote healthier mother-child relationships.

In this paper configuration design is viewed as an engineering discipline that plays a key role in the design integration process at early-stage development of a complex and large-scale product. Taking as an instance an aircraft development program that Korean engineers had experienced in Lockheed-Martin company, the process of early-stage configuration design is recapitulated and then a role model of effective design integration activities is presented.

공격 시나리오의 그래프 표현은 서버의 취약성 분석 및 공격의 방어를 위한 설계에 필수적인 방법이다. 이를 위해 다양한 요구사항 분석 모델이 이용되고 있으나, 복잡한 시나리오간의 결합을 표현할 수 있는 모델은 제한적이다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 역할 기반 페트리 넷(Role Based Petri Net)은 동시성과 시각적인 장점을 가진 페트리 넷을 역할 기반으로 구성하여 효과적 표현 모델을 제공하고 알려지지 않은 공격에 대한 시나리오를 효율적으로 표현할 수 있다.
