  • The purpose of universities is diversifying, such as education and research for the transfer of knowledge and technology, and training talented people with the competencies required in industrial sites. Therefore, universities are attempting various forms of industry-academic cooperation to maintain organic relations with companies and to conduct research activities, technology sharing, technology development, technology transfer, and human resources training. In particular, in the field of engineering education, various industry-academic cooperation programs such as field training, interns, and start-up support are actively developed and operated. Accordingly, the Engineering Education Innovation Research Information Center developed an online industry-academic cooperation capstone design matching platform for engineering education to enable collaboration between universities and companies nationwide. The industry-academic cooperation matching platform was developed under the theme of capstone design. Capstone design is a project-oriented and problem-based learning method that combines the knowledge and experiences acquired by the undergraduate department and designs and produces them. The subject of the Capstone design project was to solve corporate difficulties and allow companies and universities to collaborate. This study developed an online industry-academic cooperation capstone design matching platform according to analysis, design, development, evaluation, and execution procedures. This study is meaningful in that it has developed a channel through which students and companies, who are the subjects of industry-academic cooperation, can carry out projects and communicate organically through an online matching platform.

  • An impetus for reviving research in mathematical problem solving is the recent advance in methodological thinking, namely, the design experiment ([Gorard, S. (2004). Combining methods in educational research. Maidenhead, England: Open University Press.]; [Schoenfeld, A. H. (2009). Bridging the cultures of educational research and design. Educational Designer. 1(2). http://www.educationaldesigner.orgied/volume1/issue21]). This methodological approach supports a "re-design" of contextual elements to fulfil the overarching objective of making mathematical problem solving available to all students of mathematics. In problem solving, components critical to successful design in one setting that may be adapted to suit another setting include curriculum design, assessment strategy, teacher capacity, and instructional resources. In this paper, we describe the implementation, over three years, of a problem solving module into the main mathematics curriculum of an Integrated Programme school in Singapore which had sufficient autonomy to tailor-fit curriculum to their students.

  • Development of information & communication technologies brought a lot of changes into a fashion industry system. Based on this advancement, various classes which utilized a computer is opened in the educational field. However, because of the shortages of ICT quality of leaner, It must spare a section equivalent for ICT literacy during educational contents. In secondary education and the culture process of a university It is because ICT literacy education was not realized directly. This study is purposed to present more desirable direction the curriculum of Fashion Design, in order to study like the fashion design technical education division, defined the ICT literacy ability that leaner must have and under the tyrannies that that kind of ICT quality ability was had, designed a educational 'process in the fashion design that utilized the ICT which was suitable for information oriented society.

  • As cultural goods have been taken notice of as an area that may contribute to the creation of national profits, there have been attempts to construct infrastructure for the area. Contrary to the trend, however, design education has not performed in-depth researches and studies on the professionalism and characteristic of subjects. Resultantly it has hardly prepared systematic educational curricula and contents. In this situation the present study purposes to set the right direction of design education and to draw the outline of systematic educational contents for cultural goods design. For this purpose, it defines the scope of cultural goods design based on the concept and contents of cultural goods design, examines the functions, the roles and the conditions of cultural goods designers, and based on them, propose the direction of cultural goods design education as the ground of detailed methods of teaching cultural goods design.

  • The purpose of this study is to discuss the current status and limitations of convergence education in universities and to explore new possibilities of engineering convergence education by analyzing characteristics and cases of self - design semesters as convergence education. As a result of this study, it was found that the education for fostering convergence ability is insufficient for the viewpoint of education. The types of convergence education could be classified into three categories. However, the concept and paradigm of convergence education has not been established precisely because it is made in a 'top-down' manner by the government. In addition, there was a limit of the lack of a foundation to operate the convergence education. However, A university's self-design semester, it shows the possibility of cultivating the overall convergence ability by giving autonomy and subjectivity to learners and through the acquisition of contextual knowledge and the ability of collaboration.

  • Ahead of the introduction of artificial intelligence education into the revised curriculum in 2022, various class cases based on artificial intelligence should be developed. In this study, we designed an artificial intelligence education program based on explainable artificial intelligence using design-based research. Artificial intelligence, which covers three areas of basic, utilization, and ethics of artificial intelligence and can be easily connected to real-life cases, is set as a key topic. In general design-based studies, more than three repetitive processes are performed, but the results of this study are based on the results of the primary design, application, and evaluation. We plan to design a program on artificial intelligence that is more complete based on the third modification and supplementation by applying it to the school later. This research will help the development of artificial intelligence education introduced at school.

  • In today's college curriculum, fashion illustration courses are regarded as fundamental sources of knowledge in the fashion industry and the fine arts. The purpose of this study was to critically examine current curricula and educational objectives of fashion illustration courses offered by domestic fashion-related universities and academic institutions, in order to help the development of more effective tertiary level fashion education. Based on the results of data analysis, we suggest the following recommendations: Firstly, university courses should focus on drawing-centered fundamental education. Secondly, design education linked to fashion illustration should be strengthened. Thirdly, creativity-boosting design education is necessary. The range of curricula that could foster creativity and problem-solving skills in professionals should be enlarged, and future education should place emphasis on lateral and creative thinking. The result of this study are expected to contribute to the development of better curriculum in fashion-related education.

  • From the beginning of Digital text book in 2007, there are many kinds of digital text book such as English, Science etc at Public education. Above many problems at the beginning like just using paper text book's scan data as digital text book, now use special contents and design for only digital text book. But only for digital text book not for other. There is gap between advanced country of education and us. This is research based on LG europe design center in London, UK target is UK, Sweden by heuristic analysis, question investigation to get Target's UX with digital education media. Advancement of digital and interest of education bring the world development of digital education device. UK, where is education advanced nation, is using lot's of digital education device which is interactive board, digital desk etc. Result of Analysis of Digital Education Design trend by Target of Education Needs apply rough Design by LG europe design center. We can get more sophisticated needs and UX result by target then Korea that can use for our future Digital education design plan. Also help to reduce gap between advanced country and Korea.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop students' creativity and artistic sensitivity by developing a convergence education program that links various subjects, including mathematics, science, and art based on design. Design is done in almost every human activity that pursues beauty and implements cultural value through patterns and images. We have developed three programs for elementary school students and two programs for middle school students, taking into consideration the achievement standards and curriculum content appropriate for the 2015 revised curriculum. It was assessed by a panel of five educational experts during the development and demonstration courses to evaluate the feasibility of the development program. The development program can enhance the design literacy and design sense of elementary and junior high school students and can be used convergent educational contents that can be applied in the free-semester system activities of junior high school. Through this program, adolescents who will lead the future design society will be able to acquire the sense of design, literacy, and design ability as design consumers and producers.

  • The purpose of this study was to define element of specialization for interior design education according to investigate samples and analyze situations. The study was composed three schemes as follows, materiality classification of specialization, condition of specialization and survey and analysis of specialization. Materiality specialization classify 4 types which are localization, focus on design process, design and project participation and resource. The specialization conditions, according to classify, were to make cooperation center for practical fields and to find new fields of Interior design education and develope advanced skills.
