메이크업 일러스트레이션 교육 활성화 방안 (An Activation Plan for Make-up Illustration Education)

  • Make-up illustration is a field of creativity with visible creative and artistic values; its ultimate functions include communication of information, artistic expression, and recording. Establishing the make-up illustration education environment for the twenty-first century, there is an urgent need for research and development of professional curricula for basic art education and illustration education. It is extremely important for educators and institutions teaching make-up illustration to recognize that training of highly creative and professional beau designers through systematic educational structures is the ultimate foundation for enhancing competitiveness of the beauty industry despite the present reality that there are insufficient studies and publications on beauty illustration and that there is lack of illustration lecturers and artists equipped with professional beauty knowledge. Therefore, this study was conducted to research and analyze offering of illustration subjects by 160 beauty-related vocational schools and 16 4-year undergraduate colleges in the make-up field, which is the field with most creative art activities among the three representative beauty majors, namely make-up, hair, and skin. Education of make-up illustration must not remain as simple short-term education. The curricula must be specialized for providing solid foundation of basic majors. In terms of education content, strong emphases must be made for original and creative mark-up designs as well as purposes, functions, and necessity of make-up design and illustration. The curricula must include systematic, logical and artistic elements. Through the course of this study, which researched, analyzed and proposed measures for education content of make-up illustration, it was found that make-up illustration is the most appropriate subject that fulfills both the ultimate education objectives of beauty colleges and the demand by the society for beauty professionals. It is hoped that make-up illustration is emphasized and recognized for its importance and necessity as an education subject so that similar basic major subjects will further be researched and developed for specialized education.

  • As urbanization has evolved, a number of cities have been engaged in building creative power through branding. Cities contain much creative space and creative space within cities develops them. Cities are connected with space, which have a great influence each other, in particular, in cities of culture and art. Space contents in cities have various forms and types and work as important factors for branding of cities. In this high-touch generation, cities of culture and art have special meaning in that design of emotional generation, and cultural meaning of tangible and intangible assets in cities are their competitive power and sources of high added value. The cities of culture and art are oriented toward creative future globally and nationally. In cities of culture which seek for urban development by excavating artistic meaning and value through artistic and cultural development, their cultural meaning itself can become a brand, which effectively leads to building creative cities and marketing of urban brands. This study aims to analyse cases of cities developed through discovering or reactivating art and cultural meaning and value of urban space based on urban space contents. Then it analyses through what urban image, brands and marketing space contents were developed and suggests necessity of space contents development in small and middle sized cities. Therefore, based on the cases of art and cultural cities developed depending on space contents, it analyses and differentiate their various types and contents, aiming to show that any cities can be based on art and culture and creativity depending on creation, regeneration and development of space contents.

  • 디지털과 정보통신을 기반으로 한 사회 환경 변화는 동시대의 정보와 문화를 자유롭게 교환하고 소비함으로 인해 지역 간의 문화의 격차를 점차 해소하고 있다. 특히 1995년 지방자치단체가 출범한 후 각지방은 중앙정부 의존 방식에서 벗어나 지역의 자원과 인력, 문화를 가지고 지역을 개발하여 자립하려는 지역 간의 무한 경쟁체제에 처해있다. 이러한 경쟁체제하에 지자체는 각각의 문화와 지역성을 내세워 다른 지역과 차별하기 위한 개발전략과 더불어 다양한 이벤트와 홍보활동을 통해 지역의 브랜드화를 추구하고 있다. 지역 간의 브랜드화와 지역의 자생적 경쟁 구도하에 광고환경도 급 변화하고 있으며 이는 광고에 있어 크리에이티브의 변화를 의미한다. 광고의 크리에이티브와 완성도는 신뢰와 호감을 유도함으로 인해 광고의 설득적 기능을 효과적으로 행하게 하는 주요한 요인이 된다. 이러한 요구에 의해 먼저 정부광고가 빠른 속도로 변화하였고 지자체광고의 변화도 이미 시작되었다. 본 연구는 이러한 변화의 시기에 TV광고 현황을 비교분석 하여 효과적인 지자체 TV광고의 크리에이티브 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 정보통신의 발달과 기술의 개발은 세계를 국제화 및 지식정보화 사회로의 급격히 변화시키고 있다. 이에 따라 공과대학에서의 공학교육도 급변하는 추세에 발맞추어 국제적 인재 양성이라는 교육목표로의 수정을 요구받고 있다. 국제적으로 인정받는 인재라는 것은 팀에서의 팀원 및 리더로서의 역할을 수행할 수 있는 인재, 사회에서의 다양한 학제간의 융합에 부응할 수 있는 인재, 사회적 및 국제적 의사소통기술을 겸비한 인재, 전공에 있어서 기초 및 응용을 충분히 습득한 인재 등으로 요약된다. 따라서 본 연구는 이러한 인재양성을 위하여 공과대학의 저학년들을 위한 공학설계입문이라는 교과목을 개발하고자 한다. 공과대학 학생들을 위한 공학설계입문의 교과목 개발 목표는 창의적 설계 주제 연구를 통하여 팀웍기술 배양, 문제해결 능력 향상, 의사소통 기술 증진 및 공학에 대한 창의적 사고방식을 갖춘 국제적 인재양성을 목표로 하고 있다.

웹 미디어에 나타난 커스터마이저블 패션 브랜드의 유형 및 전략 연구 (A Study on the Types and Strategies of Customizable Fashion Brands on Web Media)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze fashion brands' contents and characteristics of the participation platform of users, to assess the types and strategies of mass customization(MC). Most fashion brands sell one professional content: Shoes brands were the most common, followed by bags, unisex wear, and menswear. In consumer's design selection elements, changes in color and materials were the most common. For the personalization service elements, monogram service was the most common. The results of MC types analysis were as follows, Customized Standardization was the most common, followed by Tailored Customization, Pure Customization, and Segmented Standardization. For the types according to changes in products and expression methods, Cosmetic was the most common. And the classification according to modulation, Modularizers were the most common. For Creativity, brands in the making stage were the most common. For Flexibility, although brands different methods, high flexibility by modularizing design elements of products and accomplishing various design through participation. The Ease of use for various expression was generally high, parallel to Flexibility. For Durability, because consumers could receive end products only when they participated in the assembly stage in the on-line purchase, their continuous participation was not possible, so they participated only once. The typical types and strategy of MC were analyzed. The Customized Standardization type was the most common in shoes, bag, and womenswear brands. It was the Cosmetic type which could change colors and materials, the Modularizers, and had high Flexibility and Ease of use and low Durability.

컴퓨터를 활용한 유머 이미지 패션디자인 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Application of Computers to the Development of Humor Image Fashion Design)

  • Due to the rapid changes occurring in many aspects of contemporary society, the need for a means to actively combat widespread feelings of emptiness and alienation among the public, while satisfying its visual pleasure, is increasing. Thus the need for humorous elements which bring freedom to the human psyche is urgently requested. Of course, the field of fashion cannot be left out in this trend, and humor image design is a good example of this. Humor image in fashion endeavors to release the tension accumulated in the modern world, while trying to find a way to recover the original pureness of mankind. Another aspect currently important is computers. The creation of images in modern visual art relies a lot upon computers. Traditional visual processes such as painting, photography and video are now merged within digital technology. and are now quite symbiotic to each other. With the development of computers came computer art. which uses all applicable functions of a computer to create art. Any artistic action which uses a computer in any stage of its creation can be called computer art. The common factor in humor and computer art in modern fashion can be classified as follows : repetition, deformation and distortion. exaggeration and abridgement. juxtaposition. and Tromp l'oeil. This study has placed its objective on the fusion of humor image fashion and computer art, by manufacturing a work with humor and computers, two important aspects of modern culture. Expanding the field of fashion design while promoting creativity In fashion by finding a verging point between art and science is also necessary. I have designed and made five costumes using the above cited techniques in computer humor images, on a theoretical basis.

실험 타이포그래피의 교육 프로그램 연구 (A Study on the Educational Programs for Experimental Typography)

  • 타이포그래피는 시각디자이너가 관여하는 분야 중에서 가장 감성적이며 잠재적 창조력이 발휘되는 영역이다. 심미적 결과를 도출하는 디자인 과정은 디자이너의 감수성과 창의성에 따라 그 결과가 크게 다르게 나타난다. 따라서 본 논문은 새로운 관점에서 접근하는 실험 타이포그래피의 교육 프로그램을 통해 창의성 발휘에 큰 걸림돌 격인 고정관념 즉, 편견과 선입견을 제거하고 타이포그래피의 문맥과 메시지 전달에 충실 할 수 있는 사고의 전환과 전반적 감각을 개발하고 교육하는 구체적 방안을 제시한다. 오늘날은 타이포그래피의 환경 변화로 인해 전통적 타이포그래피의 본질과 효용성이 의심받게 되었으며 이러한 전승적 가치로부터 새로운 탈출을 모색하려는 움직임이 활발히 전개되고 있다. 본 논문은 영감과 테크놀러지의 공존이라는 대명제 아래 가히 폭발적 변신과 융화가 일어난 상황에서 새로운 경향과 사회적 요구에 부응할 수 있는 실험 타이포그래피를 현실화할 몇 가지 교육 프로그램으로 Typeface, Typortrait, 타이포그래피 에세이, 키네틱 타이포그래피를 소개하며 이를 계기로 타이포그래피 실험의 새로운 진전과 교육계의 이해 확산을 기대한다.

  • 바우하우스의 공업사회에 있어서 디자이너로서, 또는 수 공예가, 조각가, 화가 혹은 건축가로서의 예술적 재능을 지닌 사람들의 양성을 목적으로 하여 출발하였으며, 건축공작에 있어서 협동의 목적을 지니고 예술과 형태의 면에서 모든 수공예의 완전한 조직훈련을 그 기초로 하고 있었다. 이러한 창조력을 지닌 인간양성의 원동력이 된 예비과정은 그 것을담당한 교사들의 교육이념과 교육방법에 따라 다양한 형태의 조형활동과 방법을 통하여 연구되어지고 실천에 옮겨졌으며, 그 근간을 형성하는 공통된 접근 방법은 인간을 조형원리의 중심에 두고 생물학적 기능의 분석 나아가 정신적이고 철학적인 부분에 이르기까지 철저히 분석함과 동시에 종합적으로 관찰하고 사고하며 표현하는 조형연습에 주안점을 두고 있었다. 아울러 바우하우스 조형교육의 독특한 구조는 교사와 학생을 구분하지 않고 자유로운 비판을 통하여 서로의 해결책을 비교토록 함으로써 어떤 과제를 어떤 형태로 추구하여 해결할 것인가를 스스로 체득케 하는 집단 요법 식 교육방식을 취하고 있었다는 점이다.

장 폴 고티에 무용의상의 조형성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Aesthetic Characteristics of the Dance Costume of Jean Paul Gaultier)

  • Fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier incorporated his own boundless and unique artistic Into his design of dance costumes, presenting an unobstructed imaginary world that was filled with freedom, which is no less than one would expect from the one-time enfant t${\'{e}}$rrible of Paris fashion. This creativity of Gaultier was made possible only through the fantastic partnership he formed with the French modern dancer, R${\'{e}}$gine Chopinot. Gaultier and Chopinot shared a deep-rooted sympathy that enabled their own artistic worlds to fully mingle and cross over, resulting in a doubled synergy of their talent and their fame. This study analyzed 11 dancing costumes created through the collaborated efforts of those two enfants t${\'{e}}$rribles, one from the fashion industry and the other from the world of dance. The following are the results of my analysis. Gaultier's dance costumes served as a artistic venue for experimenting with a number of creative inspirations lurking in his mind, which were sometimes expressed in pr${\^{e}}$t-${\`{a}}$-porter collections. Instead of the decorative and expressive features of conventional dance costumes, his was the revival of the dancer's persona as a human being, ablaze with individuality and uniqueness. He pointed out that there is no good in the distorted turturro's fixed point of view, and the great joy of an opposing way of thinking that overturned the established. Leotard material was used as a second skin by transforming it into various styles and delivering his message. In addition, obscene and sexual expressions were delivered in a direct narrative. His eccentric ideas provided entertainment while showing his oppositional way of thinking. In the dance, the effect of the costumes was doubled by the use of cumbersome and exaggerated accessories, which is generally forbidden in modern dance.

창의공학설계 및 실습 수업을 위한 아두이노 기반 교육용 캔위성 개발 연구 (A Study on Development of Educational CanSat based on Arduino for Creative Engineering Design and Practice Class)

  • The CanSat was designed as an educational satellite simulation program that implements the overall system of the satellite such as the command processing unit, the communication unit, and the power unit in a structure of the size of a can. In particular, the training effect is very excellent because the trainee can learn a process similar to the actual satellite development process by designing, manufacturing, testing, and launching. Republic of Korea Air Force Academy has been using the CanSat production kit used by the domestic can satellite contest experience department for education, but since it was produced based on PCB, it was impossible to show creativity and operation was restricted even with small mistakes. In this paper, we analyze the existing CanSat kit and propose a new educational CanSat kit that can be used in creative engineering design and practice subjects that will be reorganized into a regular course from 2021, and a lesson plan. In conclusion, by using the proposed CanSat kit for lectures, it is possible to achieve educational purposes and effects, improve lecture satisfaction, and provide stable instruction.
