유체에 잠긴 다공 직사각평판의 고유진동 해석 (Free Vibration Analysis of Perforated Rectangular Plates Submerged in Fluid)

  • This paper presented an experimental modal analysis of clamped perforated rectangular plates submerged in water. The penetration of holes in the plates had a triangular pattern with P/D (pitch to diameter) 1.750, 2.125, 2.500, 3.000 and 3.750. The natural frequencies of the perforated plates in air were obtained by the Rayleigh-Ritz method and compared with the experimental results. Good agreement was obtained between the analytical solution and experimental result. The experimental results in water showed that the mode shapes are not sensitive to the depth of submergence. The natural frequencies were shown to decrease drastically once the perforated plates come in contact with water. However, the natural frequencies decrease with the depth of submergence until a certain depth is reached, and become the asymptotic values beyond this depth of submergence. The depth of submergence did not affect the damping ratio greatly.

패드 그루브의 치수가 CMP 연마특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Groove Dimensions of Pad on CMP Characteristics)

  • CMP characteristics such as material removal rate and edge effect were measured and investigated in accordance with pad grooving effect, groove width, depth and pitch. GSQ (Groove Stiffness Quotient) and GFQ (Groove Flow Quotient) were proposed to estimate pad grooving characteristics. GSQ is defined as groove depth(D) divided by pad thickness(T) and GFQ is defined as groove width(W) divided by groove pitch(P). As GFQ value increased, material removal rate increased some point but gradually saturated. It seems that material removal rate is not affected by each parameter respectively but by interaction of these parameters such as groove dimensions. In addition, an increase in GFQ and GSQ causes edge effect to be improved. Because, pad stiffness decreases as GSQ and GFQ increase. In conclusion, groove influences relative pad stiffness although original mechanical properties of pad are unchanged by grooving. Also, it affects the flow of slurry that has an effect on the lubrication regime and polishing results. The change of groove dimensions has influence on pad stiffness and slurry flow, so that polishing results such as removal rate and edge effect become changed.

Study of LST Surface Modification effect on friction and wear at lubricating condition

  • Hemispherical dimples with diameter, ø=$60{\mu}m$ and depth, d= $30{\mu}m$ were created on the metal and ceramics surfaces using INYA 10 watt Laser of 1064 nm wavelength. This study reports the influence of dimple pitch on friction and wear behavior rather than dimple size, depth and density. LST was performed on the specimens with dimple pitch and density in the range of 80 to-$200{\mu}m$ and 44 to 7 %, respectively. Surface topography was analyzed by using roughness measurement, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and optical microscopy. Friction and wear characteristics were analyzed on textured surfaces at lubricating environment to observe the effect of surface texturing on reduction of friction and wear. Reduction on coefficient of friction was achieved by more than 70% due to the dual behavior of dimples as wear (debris) traps and lubricant reservoirs. Wear reduced significantly for the textured surface as compared to the polished surface. Moreover, the friction coefficient of the textured specimens reduced with increasing load and speed which may be attributed to the transition of lubrication regime.

자유수면 근처에서 직진하는 BB2 잠수함의 심도별 유체력과 중립운항에 대한 구속모형시험 연구 (A Captive Model Test on Hydrodynamic Force and Neutral Level Flight of BB2 Submarine in Straight Operation at Near Free Surface with Different Depths)

  • In this study, the force and moment acting on a Joubert BB2 submarine model at depths near the free surface were measured through a captive model test with the scale ratio of 1/15. Based on the experiment, the pitch moment and heave force due to the "Tail suction effect", including the change in surge force with depth near the free surface, were quantitatively analyzed. The change of force and moment according to the relative position of the sail and the free surface was reviewed with the free surface waves generated for each depths. As a result, the angle of attack of the hull to counteract the pitch moment induced by the tail suction effect was derived. The effect of the hydrostatic moment component according to the angle of attack on the equilibrium of pitch moment was also taken into account. The control plane performance tests for the X-type rudder and sail plane were conducted in snorkel and surface depth conditions to figure out the control plane angles for the neutral level flight of the submarine at near free surface. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference data for the neutral level flight of the submarine at near free surface operation in the free running model test as well as numerical studies.

首都圈地域에서 리기다소나무 잎과 잔뿌리 속의 陽이온 부족 (Cation Deficiencies in Needles and Fine Roots of Pitch Pine in Seoul Metropolitan Area)

  • 수도권과 그 주변 지역의 33지소의 리기다소나무 숲에서 리기다소나무 잎과 잔뿌리의 주요이온의 함량을 정량하였다. 잎 속의 N, P, K 및 Mg 함량운 전년도 잎에 비해 당해연도 잎속에 높았지만, Al과 Ca은 그 반대였다. 잎 속의 N, P, K 및 Al 함랴은 지역간의 차이가 없었지만, Ca과 Mg 함량은 전원지에 비해 도심지에서 낮았다. 그러나 잎속의 N/Ca와 N/Mg의 비의 값은 전원지에보다 도심지에서 컸다. 표토 잔뿌리 속의 Mg 함량은 도심으로부터 거리가 멀어짐에 따라 증가하였으나, 심층토 잔뿌리 속의 Al 함량은 그 반대였다. 토양층 잔뿌리 속의Al 함량은 도심지보다 전원지에서 낮았다. 토양층 잔뿌리속의 Al 함량은 낙엽층의 잔뿌리에 비하여 2~3배 높았다. 그리고 표토보다 심층토에 존재하는 잔뿌리 속에 Al 함량이 높았다. 그러므로 수도권 지역에서 리기다소나무의 생장감소는 조직 속의 Ca과 Mg 부족, N/Ca과 N/Mg 비의증가 및 잔뿌리 생장에 대한 Al 독성에 있었다. 그리고 수도권 지역에서 잔뿌리의 비정상적인 분포는 산성토양에서 Al 독성에 의한 잔뿌리의 생장감소가 그 원인으로 해석된다.

COG 본딩의 접합 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Bonding Performance of COG Bonding Process)

  • In the display industry, COG bonding method is being applied to production of LCD panels that are used for mobile phones and monitors, and is one of the mounting methods optimized to compete with the trend of ultra small, ultra thin and low cost of display. In COG bonding process, electrical characteristics such as contact resistance, insulation property, etc and mechanical characteristics such as bonding strength, etc depend on properties of conductive particles and epoxy resin along with ACF materials used for COG by manufacturers. As the properties of such materials have close relation to optimization of bonding conditions such as temperature, pressure, time, etc in COG bonding process, it is requested to carry out an in-depth study on characteristics of COG bonding, based on which development of bonding process equipment shall be processed. In this study were analyzed the characteristics of COG bonding process, performed the analysis and reliability evaluation on electrical and mechanical characteristics of COG bonding using ACF to find optimum bonding conditions for ACF, and performed the experiment on bonding characteristics regarding fine pitch to understand the affection on finer pitch in COG bonding. It was found that it is difficult to find optimum conditions because it is more difficult to perform alignment as the pitch becomes finer, but only if alignment has been made, it becomes similar to optimum conditions in general COG bonding regardless of pitch intervals.

능동 램파 전파에 기초한 강판의 구조건전성 모니터링 (Active Lamb Wave Propagation-based Structural Health Monitoring for Steel Plate)

  • 본 연구는 유도초음파를 기반으로 한 구조물 건전성 모니터링 알고리즘 검증에 관한 것이다. 유도초음파 중 램파를 기반으로 하는 능동검사시스템을 사용하였으며 본 알고리즘의 적용에 관한 기초연구로서 강판에 표면결함인 원형노치를 감지하는 실험을 수행하였다. Pitch-catch방법으로 강판 표면 원형노치에 대한 손상 탐상을 수행하여 손상전후의 $S_0$모드를 비교함으로써 손상 특성을 파악하며 손상전후 신호의 수학적 차에 의해 구한 산란램파(scatter)에 의해 손상을 평가할 수 있다. 손상전후 신호의 $S_0$모드 램파를 분석하기 위해서 연속 가보 웨이블릿 변환을 사용하여 전파시간을 구할 수 있다. 본 알고리즘은 손상모니터링 다각형과 Pitch-catch 방법을 기초로 하며 손상 위치표정값들의 평균과 표준편차에 의해 손상위치표정 및 크기를 정확히 추정 가능함이 검증되었다.

  • Recently the sub-micron structured substrates of 0.74 ${mu}ell$ track pitch and 800 $\AA$groove depth are required for DVD-RAM and the track pitch is expected to be narrower as the need for the information storage density is getting higher. For the accurate replication of the land-groove structure in the stamper to the plastic substrates it is important to control the injection -compression molding process such that the integrity of the replication for the land-groove structure is maximized. in the present study polycarbonate substrates were fabricated by injection comression molding and the land-groove structure regarded as one of mold temperature and the compression pressure on the integrity of the replication were examined experimentally. An efficient design methodology using the response surface method (RSM) the central composite design(CCD) technique and the analysis-of-variance (ANOVA) was developed to obtain the optimum processing conditions which maximize the integrity of the replication with a limited number of experiments.

항만내 계류선박의 수평운동 해석 (On the Surge Motion of a Ship in Rectangular Harbor)

  • 본 논문에서는 선형포텐셜 이론을 이용하여 항만에 계류된 선박의 운동해석을 수행하였다. 해양에서 입사되는 장파의 진동수와 항만의 고유진동수가 일치될 때 항만공진이 발생하며, 항만공진은 선박의 운동을 크게 야기시킨다. 해석 방법으로는 정합점근전개법 (Matched Asymptotic Expansion)을 사용하였다. 이 방법을 적용하기 위하여 선박은 세장선으로 가정하였고, 항만입구의 폭이 좁은 직사각형 항만을 계산 모델로 삼았다. 대칭운동(Surge, Heave, Pitch)에 대하여 수치계산을 수행한 결과 항만내의 위치에 따라 야기되는 선박운동모드가 크게 차이남을 밝혔다.

Magnetic soft mold를 이용한 나노 와이어 그리드 편광 필름 연구 (A study on the Nano Wire Grid Polarizer Film by Magnetic Soft Mold)

  • 본 연구에서는 자기 소프트 몰드를 이용하여 피치 143.59 nm의 고 성능 NWGP(Nano Wire Grid Polarizer) 필름의 새로운 제조 방법을 제안하였다. 제작된 편광필름은 $6cm{\times}6cm$의 PET기판위에 알루미늄 격자 구조를 가지고 있으며, 이는 TFT-LCD(Thin Flat Transistor Liquid Crystal Display)에 응용 가능할 것으로 보인다. 자기 소프트 몰드는 너비 70.39 nm의 규격으로 제작되었으며, 이를 이용하여 2단계의 복제과정을 거쳐 제작되어진다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서는 기판위에 75.68 nm 선폭과 64.76 nm의 높이 143.59 nm pitch를 가지는 격자구조의 NWGP 패턴을 제작하였다. 또한, 이는 800 nm 파장 영역 대에서 75%의 최대 투과율과 10%의 최소 투과율을 가지는 것을 확인하였다. 따라서, 본 공정을 통해 독창적인 저 비용의 나노패터닝 기술로 디스플레이 산업에서 적용되어 질 것으로 보여진다.
