Creativity is a long cherished and widely studied aspect of human behavior that allows us to re-invent the familiar, and to imagine the new. Computational creativity (CC) is a newly burgeoning area of creativity research that brings together academics and practitioners from diverse disciplines, genres and modalities, to explore the potential of computers to be autonomously creative, or to collaborate as co-creators with people. We describe here an architecture for creative Web services that will act as a force magnifier for CC, both for academic research, and for the effective deployment of real CC applications in industry. For researchers, this service-oriented architecture supports the pooling of technologies in a robust interoperable framework, in which CC models are conceived, developed and migrated from lab settings to an industrial strength platform. Industry developers, for their part, will be able to exploit novel results of CC research in a robust, low-risk form, without having to re-implement algorithms from a quickly moving field. We illustrate the architecture with the first of a growing set of creative Web services that provide robust figurative language processing on demand.

FS-VDSL은 B-PON과 VDSL을 이용하여 가입자에게 디지털TV, VOD, 초고속인터넷, 전화 등을 총 망라한 Full Service를 제공하기 위해 필요한 모든 망구조 및 프로토콜에 대해서 규정한다. FS-VDSL의 전신은 FSAN xDSL working group이며, FSAN에서 정의한 B-PON을 기본적인 액세스망으로 정의하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 End-to-end Full Service 제공을 위하여 FS-VDSL에서 솔루션으로 제시하고 있는 하이브리드 코어망, B-PON 및 VDSL 액세스망, Ethernet 홈네트워크를 포함하는 End-to-end 망구조 및 각각의 프로토콜에 대하여 살펴본다. 또한 Full Service의 핵심인 영상서비스 수용을 위하여 효율적인 비디오 트래픽 전달이 가능한 비디오 인켑슐레이션 프로토콜 및 DBTV 채널변경 프로토콜 등에 대하여 살펴보고, FS-VDSL에서 제시하는 방안을 이용한 KT의 브로드밴드 망구축 적용성에 대해 살펴본다.

In this paper, the risk analysis of smart home services was implemented by applying threat modeling. Identified possible threats for safe deployment of smart home services and identified threats through the STRIDE model. Through the creation of the Attack Tree, the attackable risk was analyzed and the risk was measured by applying the DREAD model. The derived results can be used to protect assets and mitigate risk by preventing security vulnerabilities from compromising and identifying threats from adversely affecting services. In addition, the modeled result of the derived threat can be utilized as a basis for performing the security check of the smart home service.

Load balancing plays a crucial role in ensuring the stable operation of information management systems during periods of high user access requests; therefore, load balancing approaches should be reasonably selected. Moreover, appropriate load balancing techniques could also result in an appropriate allocation of system resources, improved system service, and economic benefits. Nginx is one of the most widely used loadbalancing software packages, and its deployment is representative of load-balancing application research. This study introduces Nginx into an educational administration system, builds a server cluster, and compares and sets the optimal cluster working strategy based on the characteristics of the system, Furthermore, it increases the stability of the system when user access is highly concurrent and uses the Nginx reverse proxy service function to improve the cluster's ability to resist illegal attacks. Finally, through concurrent access verification, the system cluster construction becomes stable and reliable, which significantly improves the performance of the information system service. This research could inform the selection and application of load-balancing software in information system services.

Following the idea of "what you measure is what you get," this paper discusses the necessity to improve the plan and management of Application Service Provider (ASP) service based on performance evaluation. The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) has been used as a tool for suggesting the measures that can evaluate performance of a company by considering both financial and non-financial perspectives. The current BSC does not provide techniques to formally define, verify, implement and analyze the performance measures of ASP. Therefore, we developed a methodology for strategy development of ASP service by analyzing the BSC performance measures. This methodology provides a strategy for improving ASP service. The methodology proposed in this paper provide executives with core parts for achieving vision as well as the corresponding interpretation model for developing strategy. The methodology consists of the following two phases: BSC and Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) phase. The methodology is illustrated through a case study in each phase. The case study shows practical deployment of our methodology.

The development of food poisoning prevention guidelines aims to prevent food poisoning in advance and improve the safety of children's meals through hygiene management of children's feeding facilities, especially infants' facilities. Therefore, the composition of the content should be designed so that it can be fully understood from the point of view of the layperson. In terms of meal service management, various standards must be fully reflected and reviewed to increase utilization in the field. Daycare centers and kindergartens have different administrative agencies, similar application laws and guidelines, but different parts exist and various types of facilities, so management standards are often ambiguous. Therefore, such management requires easy guidance, not special guidance, and it should be universally applicable to any facility. Prior studies have shown that the management of meal facilities is the most efficient, but it is difficult to hire and deploy specialists due to the operation of children's meal facilities, so guidance, facilities managers and workers need to voluntarily practice them. It is time to prepare hygiene guidelines that reflect the characteristics of these children's cafeterias, and it is necessary to prepare and utilize guidance suitable for reality until it is institutionalized for the deployment of manpower exclusively for meals.

In this paper, the contemporary deployment of broadband and Internet-of-Things (IoT) services based on the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communication network is presented. First, the global service and key technologies of small and nanosatellites are briefly addressed, and then, the progress of relevant standard technologies is explained. Finally, the overall potential for the future development of the LEO satellite communication network is highlighted.

This article describes developments in fiber to the home (FTTH), and introduces the technical reviews for the various types to realize FTTH. Also, we have presented the results of each EPON, GPON and WDM-PON standardization by each IEEE, ITU-T and TTA. Finally, based on the above results, we proposed the trend of FTTH service deployment strategies.

Web Services are considered to be a promising technology to add a new level of functionality to the existing World Wide Web. However, despite the growing use of Web Services by many organizations, there are several issues that are slowing their deployment such as service discovery, recovery from faults and security. In this paper, we give a detailed overview of issues surrounding Web Services, discuss existing solutions and describe their limitations.
