Advanced technologies and techniques make it possible to express digital animation with higher quality. Characters in the virtual animation space are playing an important role in emphasizing the human audiences or interacting directly with them. The movement of characters gives them vital power, and shows their intentions and emotions. To analyze the emotion of character movements, the study develops basic movement sources based on Laban's property elements of movement such as time, space, and flow, and tries to find the relationship between their movements and the emotions they arouse by positioning them on Plutchik's emotional circle. We find that each element of 9 movements represent its own emotion consistently, and has influence on the intensity of emotions clearly.
This study investigates the merits of incorporating augmented reality in mobile games and proposes a mobile game application that combines augmented reality technology with gaming. The proposed study postulates that augmented reality technology can be employed for developing games on smartphones. The proposed application involves the implementation of a 3D virtual object in the real world by incorporating a target image. The proposed application also employs an intuitive interface with simplified manipulation based on touch, and allows players to collect and combine items for acquiring new items, thus making it elementary to pass the game stages. Furthermore, a ranking system has been introduced in the proposed application for enhancing the amusement factor of the game. The novelty of the proposed application lies in the fact that the virtual button function has been employed for combining physical and virtual objects while playing the game, without incorporating location-based services.
Purpose: This study investigated whether the strength imbalance between two muscles can affect the score of EMG based biofeedback game, and whether the EMG based biofeedback game score can be used as predictable indicator of the degree of muscle balance alternating the conventional strength measuring equipment. Methods: 40 participated in this study. Biodex was used to measure the peak torque/weight in order to calculate the muscle strength balance index between plantar flexor and dorsiflexor of ankle joint. And muscle balance index (MBI) was calculated. The EMG biofeedback game scores of dorsiflexor and plantar flexor were acquired, so that the EMG electrodes were attached at tibialis anterior and gastrocnemius. The relationship between the game score and the muscle balance index were analyzed. Results: There was negative correlation between the muscle balance index between plantar flexor and dorsiflexor and the peak torque/weight of plantar flexor (r=-0.70). And there was negative correlation between the muscle balance index between plantar flexor and dorsiflexor and the game score of plantar flexor (r=-0.83). Conclusion: The EMG biofeedback game score had significant relationship with muscle imbalance at ankle joint, so it seems that the game score can be used for predicting the degree of muscle imbalance as a parameter.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the parent related factors that influence internet game addiction among elementary school students. Method: Data was collected through self-administered questionnaires and descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation and stepwise multiple regression were used to analyze the data. Data survey was conducted with 739 conveniently selected students who were in grades 4, 5, and 6 of elementary schools in Seoul or Gyung-gi province. Results: The addiction groups were classified as general user group (84.3%), potential risk group (10.0%) and high risk group (5.7%). There were significant internet game addiction differences by gender, grade, expense of internet cafe, religion, school record, place where child played, economic status, and duration and frequency of game play. The addiction was negatively correlated to parents' attachment, supervision, attitude to child nurturing, and expectations regarding school study. The most significant variables were both parents' attitude to child nurturing, and mother's supervision. These three variables explained 20.7% of internet game addiction in elementary school students. Conclusion: These findings are expected to make a contribution to the creation of ideal interventions at school, home, and counselling centers to prevent internet game addiction.
Rapid spread of the internet has made our everyday life more convenient, however it has brought some problems along with it. Especially, undergraduate student are losing their social ability as they become absorbed in the internet game, act selfishly in the cyber space and lose interest in studying. As a result, they become isolated from their friends and experience difficulty in the relationship with their parents. In this paper, the influence factors of internet game addiction is investigated using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and statistics techniques. This study is to define the influence an important factors of internet game addiction using a questionnaire to internet game player and expert group. It is believed that this study will be more receptive to results that include the priority weights of internet game addiction among the addiction group, non-addiction group and expert group.

Parrondo paradox is the counter-intuitive phenomenon where two losing games can be combined to win or two winning games can be combined to lose. In this paper, we consider an ensemble of players, one of whom is chosen randomly to play game A' or game B. In game A', the randomly chosen player transfers one unit of his capital to another randomly selected player. In game B, the player plays the history-dependent Parrondo game in which the winning probability of the present trial depends on the results of the last two trials in the past. We show that Parrondo paradox exists in this redistribution model of the history-dependent Parrondo game.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between self-esteem, social support, smartphone dependency and internet game dependency of college students. Methods: This was a descriptive study. The survey participants were 299 college students in M city and I city. The data were collected from June 2 to June 20, 2014 and self-report questionnaires including Self-Esteem Scale, Multidimensional Scale of Perceived Social Support, Smartphone Dependency Sale, Internet Game Dependency Scale. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, independent-sample t-test, ANOVA, stepwise multiple regression. Results: Social support & smartphone dependency showed significant differences according to gender. Smartphone dependency was found to have a statistically negative correlation with self-esteem, social support and positive correlation with internet game dependency. Internet game dependency was found to have a statistically negative correlation with self-esteem, social support. Social support was found to have a statistically negative correlation with self-esteem. Stepwise multiple regression analysis revealed that the significant predictors of smartphone dependency were internet game dependency, gender, self-esteem, accounted for 16.6% of the variance. Conclusion: It is necessary for reduction program of college students' smartphone dependency that consider their internet game dependency, gender, self-esteem.
Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to present a method for effectively conducting discussion-based training in disaster response safety training. Method: To this end, we analyzed the disaster response training of developed countries and suggested the training scenarios by applying the war-game process that is currently applied in the operation planning of our military. Result: In one disaster situation, several contingencies could be identified, and supplementary requirements for the manual could be derived. Conclusion: Therefore, in conclusion, if the military war-game process is applied to the discussion-based training in disaster response safety training, effective training can be carried out.

On-line game industry had accomplished much growths and development. One in pain of the game enterprises according to quality of on-line comes to be short Game production pipeline and it is suitable in quick production schedule and to be easy to the standard research of form by of 3D game character animations which are various the game production at the time of application is possible, operation by and type by in necessity. Element by model classification of the digital base game character which is used in game it set from the research which it sees and research it analyzed and the fundamental data which is necessary to 3D game character animation productions escape it tried. And the digital motioncapture it applies a cap department system and real picture of the character animation which is various at real-time the control research moving and it advances at the time when the effectiveness is short highly in game industry and digital contents industry application the character animation production process which is possible and production pipeline escape the reporter to do it does.
In this paper we Study a time-optimal model of pursuit in which the players move on a plane with bounded velocities. This game is supposed to be a nonzero-sum group pursuit game. The main point of the work is to construct and compare cooperative and non-cooperative solutions in the game and make a conclusion about cooperation possibility in differential pursuit games. We consider all possible cooperations of the players in the game. For that purpose for every game $\Gamma(x_0,y_0,z_0)$ we construct the corresponding game in characteristic function form $\Gamma_v(x_0,y_0,z_0)$. We show that in this game there exists the nonempty core for any initial positions of the players. The core can take four various forms depending on initial positions of the players. We study how the core changes when the game is proceeding. For the original agreement (an imputation from the original core) to remain in force at each current instant t it is necessary for the core to be time-consistent. Nonemptiness of the core in any current subgame constructing along a cooperative trajectory and its time-consistency are shown. Finally, we discuss advantages and disadvantages of choosing this or that imputation from the core.
