This study aims at providing necessary informations to decide what services would be conducted preferentially in the hospital by limited resources. So this study revalued the customer's perception about the qualities of the hospital services by the Kano Model and examined the customer satisfaction coefficients suggested by Timko. The researcher conducted a survey from the patients of the 4 university hospitals in Incheon and southern Gyeonggi Province In 2008. The results of this study can be summarized as follows; It was found that the total 31 items are could be classified into 7 attractive quality elements, 22 one-dimensional quality elements and 2 indifferent quality elements, while the natural quality element wasn't found. The highest score element of the customer's satisfaction coefficients was identified as easy parking(0.69) and the lowest score item was the offer of the hospital newsletter and information about medical care(0.47). When the hospital service was not sufficient to the customer, the highest score element of the customer's dissatisfaction coefficients was proved the convenient ward and facilities(-0.75) and the lowest score item was the buses running to the entrance of the hospital(-0.32). Also it was found that the attractive quality elements appraised by the preceding study were revalued the one-dimensional quality elements. The reason was because the customer's expectation on the services was changed high, as time went by.

Purpose: This study was conducted to survey children's health status and need of customized visiting health care services in one province. Methods: The participants in this study were 237 caregivers of infants and preschoolers. Data were collected at the participant's home or public health center. Results: Many of the children did not receive developmental screening tests or dental examinations. In the beneficiary group, the prenatal checkup rate and children's vaccination rate were lower, and caregivers had more health problems than the other groups. On the assessment of home safety, unsafe conditions were more frequently found in the beneficiary group. The caregivers in the beneficiary group showed lower child rearing confidence than the other groups, and wanted customized visiting health care services most in the areas of developmental screening, regular health check-up and counseling, nutritional supplementation, and oral health care. Conclusion: These results indicate that it is necessary for children and parents in poverty to be provided with professional home visiting interventions for the promotion of child health and prevention of developmental problems and diseases. These findings can be used for developing future customized visiting health care service programs for infants and children in this community area.

Out the recollected forms, 18 which were deemed as in appropriately filled in were excluded, and the remaining 300 were finally analyzed. The results are as follows. Subjective oral symptoms and masticatory performance have correlation(p<0.001) with aged people's life quality. Factors of influencing life quality were indicated to be gender(p=0.046), age(p=0.008), appearance of living together(<0.001), masticatory performance(p<0.001), and temperature reaction(p=0.018). This study has limitation because of being information that was obtained just with questionnaire survey on subjective oral symptoms. It is considered that there is a need of surveying along with objective data on oral symptoms hereafter.
Objectives : The aim of the present study was to propose more substantial data for evaluating the quality of life of adults in terms of oral health as well as provide the basic data necessary to develop an effective oral health care program that improves the quality of life of adults by age group. Methods : Raw data were used from the sixth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey for the first and second years which was conducted from January 2013 to December 2014. Multiple regression analysis was conducted with the collected data by gender and age group to determine the impact of oral functions on the quality of life of adults. Results : It turned out that oral function has an impact on the quality of life of adults by age group as follows: young people (${\beta}$=.077), middle-age people (${\beta}$=.101), young-old elderly people (${\beta}$=.140), and old-old elderly people (${\beta}$=.143). It was shown that as people grow older, they have better quality of life only when they have good oral function. Conclusions : It is necessary to develop a proper oral health care program that prevents oral diseases and improves oral function by age group, which eventually will lead to good oral health. Continuous oral healthcare is also considered necessary.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare laryngoscopic views and ease of use and success of intubation, via the percentage of glottic opening (POGO) scale when using the Miller blade and Macintosh blade in paraglossal approach. Methods: Forty intern doctors were randomized for laryngoscopy to be performed in a crossover manner. They performed endotracheal intubation with Miller blade and Macintosh blade in two airway scenarios: normal airway and difficult airway with edema. We observed the rate of successful intubation, time required for visualizing the glottis, time to complete endotracheal intubation, ease of intubation, and the POGO scale. Results: In the normal airway, there was no difference in intubation between the two endoscopes. In the difficult airway, the time for visualizing the glottis (7.80 versus 10.24 sec; p=.006), the time to tube passage (19.38 versus 23.03 sec; p=.038) and the time to complete endotracheal intubation (21.84 versus 28.54 sec; p=.022) with Miller blade was shorter than with Macintosh blade. The POGO scale(%) of the Miller blade was higher than that of the Macintosh blade's (62.25 versus 56.32; p=.030). Conclusion: Compared to the Macintosh blade, Miller blade provided better visualization of the glottis and POGO scale, and faster time to completion of endotracheal intubation.

Objectives : This study aimed investigate general characteristics, vaccination status and health beliefs related to vaccination for herpes zoster and to identify variables. Methods : The structured questionnaire was conducted from March 31, 2016 to April 20, 2016 with 312 outpatients who visited a university hospital. The data were analyzed by frequency analysis, t-test, $x^2-test$, correlation analysis and logistic regression analysis via SPSS statistics 22.0. Results : The vaccination rate of the herpes zoster was 16.0% and the vaccination cost was the most common reason for rejecting inoculation. More highly educated people with more than a university degree(OR=4.28, p=.002), those with higher susceptibility to herpes zoster(OR=1.56, p=.000), those more aware of the benefits of vaccination(OR=1.51, p=.009) and those with lower disability for vaccination(OR=0.74, p=.003) were more likely to be vaccinated. Conclusions : Therefore, to increase the vaccination rate of herpes zoster in adults over 50 years old, continuous publicity and education are needed to emphasize the susceptibility of herpes zoster and the benefit of vaccination. In addition, it is necessary to develop policies at the national level for the expensive vaccination cost that obstructs vaccination.

Our study shows the following results of the patterns and reality of oral health of 862 Government employees and private school employees who had received oral examinations from April to May, 2000. For the exposition of each group to dental service, the male groups(37.4%) were more exposed than the female ones(30.0%, p<0.05), while the scaling experience results indicated that more ages mean more scaling(the over 50 year group 27.1%, 41-50 group 23.9%, 31-40 group 20.5%, 21-30 group 10.8%, p<0.001). The data involving sweet food and refreshments revealed that 'positive respondents' in the male groups were 19.7% with 12.5% positive in the female ones, and 'negative respondents' were 32.3% and 51.0% in the male and female groups respectively(p<0.001). For the oral odor, the male groups(37.9%) are more severe than the female ones(25.5%, p<0.01). The results of dental caries revealed that 19.1% of the male and 13.9% of the female said 'yes'(p<0.05), with 25.1% of the male and 11.1% of the female suffering from missing teeth(p<0.001); 77.4% of the male and 51.0% of the female from periodontal disease (p<0.001).
