연구윤리교육 필요성 인식 및 영향요인 (Analysis of research ethics education needs impact factors)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to examine the professors, who teach the dental hygiene program in Korea, on the awareness of the research ethics education check. And attempt to provide and promote a basic foundation for future research ethics education Methods : Questionnaire survey was carried out targeting 119, who teach the dental hygiene program. The collected data was performed frequency & percentage, independent t-test and one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results : 1. As recognition about research ethics education needs, they expressed the biggest recognition that research ethics education is required($3.66{\pm}0.57$) 2. Regarding the correlation between students needs research ethics education and interested research ethics education had a statistically significant correlation of r=0.381 which was the highest correlation factor. 3. Research ethics education taking institutions, 39.4% respondents experienced the biggest national research institutes. 4. Between general characteristics and research ethics education recognition level, they were statistically significantly different with age and major course(p<0.05). 5. The affecting factors on the research ethics education were teaching career and number of articles published as the first author, explained 12.8%(p<0.001). Conclusions : Research ethics education is desperately needed. Therefore I will insist the case based approach in the research ethics education program with the format of a stand course.

치과기공사의 직업윤리와 교육에 대한 인식 (A Study on perceptions of vocational ethics and education among dental technicians)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study is to explore professional ethics and awareness of education among dental technicians. Methods: A total of 250 questionnaires were produced and distributed to dental technicians from June 1 to October 30, 2019. Of these questionnaires, 106 were used in the final analysis. Results: More than half of respondents said that the state-run dental company has very strong ethical values. Higher levels of confidence in the professional mission of dental work were correlated with stronger ethical values. Moreover, those who had greater experience of training in the code of ethics for dental technicians exhibited a firmer sense of their professional mission. Conclusion: In the education process for dental technicians, attention should be given to establishing and practicing professional ethics. Guidelines and programs should be revised accordingly to build awareness of ethical practices in the workplace.

일부 치위생(학)과 학생들의 윤리적 책임감에 대한 연구 (Ethical Responsibility of Dental Hygiene Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the ethical responsibility and necessity of dental ethics education of dental hygiene students. Methods: Questionnaire was surveyed for 192 in dental hygiene students from October 14th to 18th, 2010. The ethical responsibility of the subjects was measured with the descriptive analyses and one-way ANOVA using SAS 9.2. Results: The findings were as follows 1. 82.8% of respondents received ethics instruction. 2. with regard to responsibility value of respondents, to clients and to colleagues were 3.71 (0.80) and 3.63 (0.82) was higher level than 3.49 (0.74) as individuals. 3. As for responsibility as individuals, item of personal health was the lowest value. 4. An advocate for the welfare of clients was the lowest value item concerning responsibility to clients. 5. As for responsibility to colleagues, constructive conflict management was the lowest item. Conclusion: This study reveals that dental hygiene students need to promote ethical responsibility and ethics instruction should be reinforced within dental hygiene curriculum.

일부지역 치위생과 학생들의 생명의료 윤리의식에 대한 조사연구 (A Survey of Dental Hygiene Students' perception toward the Biomedical Ethics Problem)

  • This paper describes biomedical ethics problem perception in dental hygiene students. Questionnaire surveys were conducted for 285 in dental hygiene students from September 3th to 21th of 2007. For statistical analyses of collected data, the descriptive analyses and chi-square were adopted. This collected data showed that bribery as the most common ethical problem. Other frequently mentioned problems are unkindness of patient and treatment equality. They agreed to artificial abortion in 79.1%, human cloning was statistically significant by grade. Biomedical ethics problem except euthanasia and human cloning were statistically significant by resident area. Also, brain death was statistically significant by religion.

치위생계열 학생과 비 치위생계열 학생의 생명의료윤리 의식 (Consciouess of Biomedical Ethics in Dental Hygiene Students and Non-Dental Hygiene Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 바람직한 윤리가치관을 확립하여 치위생계열 학생을 양성하는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하는데 있다. 연구대상자는 대구 경북지역에 소재하고 있는 대학의 치위생계열 대학생 97명, 비치위생계열 학생100명을 선정하였다. 자료분석은 치위생계열학생과 비치위생계열학생의 생명의료윤리 의식을 조사하기 위하여 SPSS/win 17.0을 사용하여 t-test, ANOVA, Scfeffe 검정, 상관관계분석을 하였다. 치위생계열 학생의 윤리의식에 대한 평균점수는 2.87점이었고 비치위생계열 학생의 평균 점수는 2.82점 이었다. 치위생 및 비 치위생학생의 생명의료윤리의식 차이를 볼 때 치위생계열 학생은 태아진단, 신생아생명권, 태아의 생명권, 뇌사에 대하여 높게 나타났고 반면 장기의식에 대한 인식은 낮게 조사되었다, 생명의료윤리의식에 영향을 미치는 변수는 치위생 계열 학생은 윤리적 가치관과 생명의료윤리 가치관 확립이 영향을 미치는 것으로 조사되었고 비치위생계열 학생은 종교와 생명의료윤리 인지정도가 생명의료윤리의식에 영향의 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 치위생계열 학생의 생명의료윤리 의식을 촉진할 수 있는 중요한 변수들에 대한 교육프로그램을 고안하여 지속적인 관심을 기울일 필요가 있는 것으로 사료되어 진다.

치위생(학)교육과정에서의 인문사회학 교과목 탐색 (Classes of humanities and social sciences in the dental hygiene curriculum)

  • Objectives : A study was designed to evaluate the classes of humanities and social sciences in the dental hygiene curriculum. Methods : Data were collected through online received from 69 dental hygiene institutions from May to August, 2011. Categorized are introduction to dental hygiene, dental hygiene management of dental clinic, medical health law, and ethics, patient psychology, others(communication, behavioral science, administration). The data were analyzed by a descriptive analyses and $x^2$-test. Results : As a result of evaluate the classes of humanities and social sciences in the dental hygiene education, 51.4% of a newly-established in between 2000 and 2006 found 2~3 courses. Credits of 4~7 was 82.4% that was found by 2~3 courses. Numbers of courses showed no differences by educational system. In college, 77.8% was in introduction to dental hygiene, dental hygiene management of dental clinic, medical health law. In university, 70.1% was in introduction to dental hygiene, dental hygiene management of dental clinic, medical health law. Ethics and patient psychology was respectively 10.8% in less than 2000, was respectively 4.7% in between 2000 and 2006, was respectively 12.5%, 3.8%. 45.5% that found ethics was in more than 2007. In college, ethics was found in the 1th~2nd(61.5%). In university, ethics was found in the 3rd~4th(85.7%). Conclusions : It should increase the number of courses of humanities and social sciences. Also, It should activate the education a dental hygienist as a professional in the future.

치과기공사의 직업윤리의식이 직무만족도와 조직시민행동에 미치는 영향 (The influence of dental technician's work ethic on job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of dental technicians sense of work ethics on their organizational effectiveness such as job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. Methods: A self-administered survey was conducted from August 25 to September 15, 2017, on 220 selected dental technicians. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS Win 19.0. Statistical data on frequency and percentage were obtained, and t-test, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis and regression analysis were carried out. Results: When the subjects' sense of work ethics was analyzed, there were significant differences according to their field of work, position, dental technician career and monthly income(p<.05). Their average score in the items about a sense of work ethics was 3.80, which was a high score. As a result of analyzing the organizational effectiveness of the dental technicians, there were significant differences according to their field of work, position, dental technician career and monthly income(p<.05). The average score in job satisfaction items was 3.14, and that in organizational citizenship behavior items was 3.55. Conclusion : As a result of research, the above-mentioned findings of the study imply that as for the correlation between a sense of work ethics and organizational effectiveness, a better sense of work ethics led to better organizational effectiveness, as every variable had a significant positive correlation with each other. In addition, interpersonal relationships were identified as the factor that exerted the largest influence on both of job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior.

일부 지역 치과위생사의 도덕 판단력 (Evaluation of the level of moral development of Korean dental hygienists)

  • Objectives : A study was designed to evaluate the level of moral development of dental hygienists in Korea. Methods : Data were collected through self reported questionnaires received from 210 dental hygienists from October 5 to December 29, 2010. The Korean version of the DIT(Defining Issues Test) was adopted to evaluate levels of moral judgment, which was measured by the score of P(%). The data were analyzed by a descriptive analyses and t-test, ANOVA. Results : The mean score of P(%) was $34.59({\pm}14.68)$. The score of P(%) revealed significant differences by religion(p=0.005). Ethics learning was 129(62.6%) in inexperience and participation of ethics education was 128(61.0%) in absence. There were significant differences in ethics learning experience(p=0.004). Conclusions : For enhancing dental hygienists' moral development we encourage them to make the most use of supplemental education.

치과기공과 직업윤리 교육의 방안소고 (A Study on Vocational Ethics in Dental Technical Depart)

  • It is recognized a very important task to cultivate the vocational ethics consciousness as well as technical education in Dental technical department which intend to foster leading technicians. Based on that point, we analyzed the actual conditions and the problems for the education of vocational ethics, as a try to search for a new orientation for the education of vocational ethics, which should be compatible with the realization of the theory of our national education chart, and its methods are presented centering on following items. a) Balance and harmony b) Unification of knowledge and action c) Self-realization d) Puritying aesthetic sentiments.

치위생(학)과 학생들의 치위생윤리 교과목을 통한 치위생 윤리적 의사결정에 대한 자신감과 학습성과 평가 (Evaluation of the Confidence and Learning Effects of Dental Hygiene Ethical Decision-Making through Dental Hygiene Ethics Subjects)

  • 연구배경: 본 연구는 일부 대학에서 진행한 치위생 윤리 교과목을 통해 치위생(학)과 학생의 윤리적 의식과 윤리적 의사결정 역량을 달성할 수 있을지에 대한 학습성과를 평가하였다. 연구방법: 2021학년도와 2022학년도 1학기 G대학교 치위생학과 4학년 각각 35명, 29명과 D대학교 치위생과 3학년 각각 53명, 43명 총 160명을 대상으로 치위생윤리 교과목을 운영하여 수업운영 성과를 도덕적 민감성, 윤리적 의사결정을 할 때 자신감, 수업의 실제성, 학습성과, 수업만족도로 평가하였다. 각 평가항목은 Independent T-test와 Paired T-test를 하였으며, 통계적 유의수준은 0.05로 하였다. 연구결과: 양 대학 모두 수업 후 도덕적 민감성, 윤리적 의사결정을 할 때 자신감이 상승하였다(p<0.001). 치위생 윤리 교과목에 대한 수업의 실제성과 수업만족도는 학제 간 차이가 없었으며 4점 이상으로 긍정적으로 평가되었다(p>0.05). 학습성과는 4년제 학생들이 3년제 학생들보다 더 높게 나타났다(p<0.001). 결론: 치위생윤리 교과목을 통해 학생들의 도덕적 민감성과 치위생 윤리적 문제해결에 대한 자신감 등 윤리적 의사결정에 대한 역량을 강화할 수 있다고 평가되었다.
