Let R be a ring with an endomorphism $\sigma$ and a derivation $\delta$. An ideal I of R is ($\sigma,\;\delta$)-ideal of R if $\sigma(I){\subseteq}I$ and $\delta(I){\subseteq}I$. An ideal P of R is a ($\sigma,\;\delta$)-prime ideal of R if P(${\neq}R$) is a ($\sigma,\;\delta$)-ideal and for ($\sigma,\;\delta$)-ideals I and J of R, $IJ{\subseteq}P$ implies that $I{\subseteq}P$ or $J{\subseteq}P$. An ideal Q of R is ($\sigma,\;\delta$)-semiprime ideal of R if Q is a ($\sigma,\;\delta$)-ideal and for ($\sigma,\;\delta$)-ideal I of R, $I^2{\subseteq}Q$ implies that $I{\subseteq}Q$. The ($\sigma,\;\delta$)-prime radical (resp. prime radical) is defined by the intersection of all ($\sigma,\;\delta$)-prime ideals (resp. prime ideals) of R and is denoted by $P_{(\sigma,\delta)}(R)$(resp. P(R)). In this paper, the following results are obtained: (1) $P_{(\sigma,\delta)}(R)$ is the smallest ($\sigma,\;\delta$)-semiprime ideal of R; (2) For every extended endomorphism $\bar{\sigma}$ of $\sigma$, the $\bar{\sigma}$-prime radical of an Ore extension $P(R[x;\sigma,\delta])$ is equal to $P_{\sigma,\delta}(R)[x;\sigma,\delta]$.

본 논문에서는 2 Ms/s의 데이터 rate와 12-비트의 해상도를 갖는 Sigma-delta modulator의 구조를 제안한다. Sigma-delta modulator는 oversampling과 노이즈 shaping의 두 가지 특성으로 인해 낮은 해상도의 A/D 변환기와 결합하여 높은 해상도를 갖는 A/D 변환기의 구현이 가능하다는 장점으로 audio 응용 분야에 널리 사용되어 왔다. 그러나, Sigma-delta modulator를 무선 데이터 통신 등 다양한 응용 분야에서 사용하기 위해서는 좀더 높은 데이터 rate를 갖는 Sigma-delta modulator에 관한 연구가 필요하게 되었다. 본 논문에서 제안한 Sigma-delta modulator 구조는 기존의 64 내지 256의 oversampling비를 16으로 낮추어 sampling을 하여 기존의 수 십에서 수 백 Ks/s정도의 데이터 rate를 1 Ms/s 이상의 높은 데이터 rate에서 동작하도록 하였다. 그리고 두 개의 2차 Sigma-delta modulator를 Cascade 구조로 연결하고, 이득을 최적화하여 4차의 Sigma-delta modulator와 유사한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다. 내부에는 1-비트 A/D, D/A 변환기를 채용하여 부가적인 calibration 회로가 필요 없도록 하였다.

Let {$X_n$, n ${\ge}$ 1} be a negatively associated sequence of identically distributed random variables with mean zeros and positive finite variances. Set $S_n$ = ${\Sigma}^n_{i=1}\;X_i$. Suppose that 0 < ${\sigma}^2=EX^2_1+2{\Sigma}^{\infty}_{i=2}\;Cov(X_1,\;X_i)$ < ${\infty}$. We prove that, if $EX^2_1(log^+{\mid}X_1{\mid})^{\delta}$ < ${\infty}$ for any 0< ${\delta}{\le}1$, then $\lim_{{\epsilon}\downarrow0}{\epsilon}^{2{\delta}}\sum_{{n=2}}^{\infty}\frac{(logn)^{\delta-1}}{n^2}ES^2_nI({\mid}S_n{\mid}\geq{\epsilon}{\sigma}\sqrt{nlogn}=\frac{E{\mid}N{\mid}^{2\delta+2}}{\delta}$, where N is the standard normal random variable. We also prove that if $S_n$ is replaced by $M_n=max_{1{\le}k{\le}n}{\mid}S_k{\mid}$ then the precise rate still holds. Some results in Fu and Zhang (2007) are improved to the complete moment case.

We prove the existence of a positive solution for the system of the following nonlinear biharmonic equations with Dirichlet boundary condition $$\{{\Delta}^2u+c{\Delta}u+av^+=s_1{\phi}_1+{\epsilon}_1h_1(x)\;in\;{\Omega},\\{\Delta}^2v+c{\Delta}v+bu^+=s_2{\phi}_1+{\epsilon}_2h_2(x)\;in\;{\Omega},$$ where $u^+= max\{u,0\}$, $c{\in}R$, $s{\in}R$, ${\Delta}^2$ denotes the biharmonic operator and ${\phi}_1$ is the positive eigenfunction of the eigenvalue problem $-{\Delta}$ with Dirichlet boundary condition. Here ${\epsilon}_1$, ${\epsilon}_2$ are small numbers and $h_1(x)$, $h_2(x)$ are bounded.

액정과 같은 단축 이방성 분자들의 정렬 정도에 따라 달라지는 복굴절으로부터 상대 복굴절 ${\Delta}n_{rel}$를 구하고 ${\Delta}n_{rel}$과 방향질서변수(orientational order parameter) S의 관계를 탐색하였다. 무질서한 분포를 하고 있는 경우를 포함하여 액정의 정렬정도를 달리 표현할 수 있는 분포함수를 도입하고 이 분포함수를 사용하여 질서변수 S가 0부터 1까지 변하도록 액정분자들의 정렬정도를 달리하며 ${\Delta}n_{rel}$과 S를 수치계산 하였다. 이 계산 결과로부터 s와 ${\Delta}n_{rel}$는 $S=(1+a){\Delta}n_{rel}-a{\Delta}n^2_{rel}$와 같이 준선형적인 관계를 만족하며 a는 $n_o{\frac{{\Delta}n}{4}}$으로 근사할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한 복굴절으로부터 Vuks의 방법에 따라 구한 분자분극의 이방성과 Neugebauer의 방법에 따라 구한 분자분극의 이방성이 각각 질서변수 S와 또 다른 준선형 관계식들을 따름을 보였다.

다변량분산분석이나 판별분석 등에 있어서 검정의 대상이 되는 공분산행렬의 동일성에 대한 붓스트랩방법의 활용을 살펴보았다. 두 모집단의 공분산행렬을 $\Sigma_1, \Sigma_2^$라 하면, 가설 H : $\Sigma_1 = \Sigma_2$은 불변성의 관점에서 $\Sigma = \Sigma_1 \Sigma_2^{-1}$의 고유값들이 모두 1 이라는 것과 동등하다. 본 연구에서는 (1) $\Sigma = \Sigma_1 \Sigma_2^{-1}$의 표본고유값들에 대한 편의를 붓스트랩에 의해 정정하였으며, (2) 이들의 표본분포를 붓스트랩분포로 추정하여 검정에 활용하였으며, (3) 합동붓스트랩에 의해 바플렛의 수정우도비 검정통계량의 분포를 근사하였다.

In Arabidopsis thaliana, the microtubule-associated protein AtMAP65-1 shows various functions on microtubule dynamics and organizations. However, it is still an open question about whether AtMAP65-1 binds to tubulin dimers and how it regulates microtubule dynamics. In present study, the tubulin-binding activity of AtMAP65-1 was investigated. Pull-down and co-sedimentation exp eriments demonstrated that AtMAP65-1 bound to tubulin dimers,at a molar ratio of 1 : 1. Cross-linking experiments showed that AtMAP65-1 bound to tubulin dimers by interacting with $\alpha$-tubulin of the tubulin heterodimer. Interfering the bundling effect of AtMAP65-1 by addition of salt and monitoring the tubulin assembly, the experiment results indicated that AtMAP65-1 promoted tubulin assembly by interacting with tubulin dimers. In addition, five truncated versions of AtMAP65-1, namely AtMAP65-1 $\Delta$N339 (amino acids 340-587); AtMAP65-1 $\Delta$N494 (amino acids 495-587); AtMAP65-1 340-494 (amino acids 340-494); AtMAP65-1 $\Delta$C495 (amino acids 1-494) and AtMAP65-1 $\Delta$C340 (amino acids 1-339), were tested for their binding activities and roles in tubulin polymerization in vitro. Four (AtMAP65-1 $\Delta$N339, $\Delta$N494, AtMAP65-1 340-494 and $\Delta$C495) from the five truncated proteins were able to co-sediment with microtubules, and three (AtMAP65-1 $\Delta$N339, $\Delta$N494 and AtMAP65-1 340-494) of them could bind to tubulin dimers in vitro. Among the three truncated proteins, AtMAP65-1 $\Delta$N339 showed the greatest activity to promote tubulin polymerization, AtMAP65-1 $\Delta$N494 exhibited almost the same activity as the full length protein in promoting tubulin assembly, and AtMAP65-1 340-494 had minor activity to promote tubulin assembly. On the contrast, AtMAP65-1 $\Delta$C495, which bound to microtubules but not to tubulin dimers, did not affect tubulin assembly. Our study suggested that AtMAP65-1 might promote tubulin assembly by binding to tubulin dimers in vivo.

${\Delta}^{12}-Prostaglandin$ $J_2\;({\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2)$ is one of cyclopentenone prostaglandins. The ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ is known to induce apoptosis of tumor cells, however, it's action mechanism is not clear. It has recently been reported that STAT3 is involved in tumorigenesis. In the present study, we investigated the role of STAT3-interacting protein (STIP1) in the cytotoxicity of ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$, since STIP1 was recently reported as a modulator of STAT3 activation by specifically binding to inactive (unphosphorylated) STAT3. The effect of ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ was observed in stably overexpressing Neuro-2A cells transfected with full cDNA of STIP1, and cytotoxicity of ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ in the transfected cells was increased, compared with the vector control cells. The cytotoxicity of ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ treatment was significantly accentuated by pretreatment of the STIP1-transfected cells with protein kinase inhibitor, genistein, and less activation of STAT3 in STIP1-transfected cells was shown, compared with the vector control cells. Expression of bax was also increased in the STIP1-transfected cells. These data suggest that STIP1 inhibits cell growth via inhibition of STAT3 activation in ${\Delta}^{12}-PGJ_2$ treatment.

AI-2.5wt%Li 합금을 시효처리하여 시효거동과 인장성질에 미치는 $\delta$' 상의 영향을 조사하였다. $\delta$' 상의 입자 반경은 시효 시간의 1/3승에 비례하여 조대화하였다. $\delta$' 상과 기지상과의 계면에너지는 0.0073 J/$m^2$, 확산계수는 1.42$\textrm{cm}^2$/sec, 초대화 거동은 MLSW이론에 부합됨을 알 수 있었다. 미세하고 균일하게 분포한 $\delta$'상은 전반적으로 인장강도의 상승을 가져왔으며, 평형상인 $\delta$상의 석출과 이로 인한 무석출물대의 존재로 과시효시 강도가 감소하였다. 인장변형시 전위는 초전위로 아시효와 피크시효시에는 $\delta$'상을 전단하지만 과시효시에는 $\delta$'상을 전단하지 못하고 우회하여 전위루우프를 형성한다.
