고압에서의 분무의 증발 및 연소 현상에 관한 연구 (Study on Vaporization and Combustion of Spray in High Pressure Environment)

  • The present study is mainly motivated to investigate the vaporization, auto-ignition, and combustion of liquid fuel spray injected into high pressure environment. The unsteady, multi-dimensional models were used for realistic simulation of spray as well as prediction of accurate ignition delay time. The Separated Flow (SF) model which considers the finite rate of transport between liquid and gas phases was employed to represent the interactions between spray and gas field. Among the SF models, the Discrete Droplet Model (DDM) which simulates the spray using finite number of representative samples of discrete droplets was adopted. The Eulerian-Lagrangian formulation was used to analyze the two-phase interactions. In order to predict an evaporation rate of droplet in high pressure environment, the high pressure vaporization model was applied using thermodynamic equilibrium and phase equilibrium at droplet surface. The high pressure effect as well as high temperature effect was considered in the calculation of liquid and gas properties. In case of vaporization, an interaction between droplets was studied through the simulation of spray. The interaction is shown up differently whether the ambient gas field is at normal pressure or high pressure. Also, the characteristics of spray behavior in high pressure environment were investigated through the comparison with normal ambient pressure case. In both cases, the spray behaviors are simulated through the distributions of temperature and reaction rate in gas field.

  • 지층처분연구를 통한 지구과학분야의 기술적 발전은 천연방벽의 특성을 이해하기 위한 계측방법 및 단계적 부지조사ㆍ평가과정을 확립하였으나, 아직도 지하매질의 불균질성과 규모 종속적인 특성 때문에 후보부지특성에 대한 이해는 부족한 상태이다. 부지특성 평가결과의 불확실성으로 인한 시간적ㆍ경제적 부담을 줄이기 위해서는 무엇보다도 후보부지를 중심으로 계획된 정확하고 치밀한 부지특성평가계획의 수립과 전반적인 수행과정 및 결과에 대한 품질보증 시스템의 적용이 요구된다. 또한 원전수거물 처분시설에서 요구되는 충분조건과 필요조건으로 구분하여 단계별로 평가하여야 한다.

  • NPEG은 ISO 산하의 표준화 위원회에서 동영상 압축 기술의 필요에 의해 표준화된 동영상 압축 기술로 통신상에서 더 높은 비트율의 고화질 동화상 실현의 요구에 의해 1995년에 MPEG 2가 개발되었다. 본 논문에서는 VBR MPEG의 코드화된 완전한 동화상 통신을 위해 비선형 시계열 방식으로 효율적이고도 정확한 TAR모델 설계 알고리즘을 제안하며 실질적인 동영상 비디오 추적에 대한 통계적 특성을 보여주는 시뮬레이션 결과를 제시하고자 한다.

Parameter Estimation of Single and Decentralized Control Systems Using Pulse Response Data

  • The One Pass Method (OPM) previously presented for the identification of single input single output systems is used to estimate the parameters of a Decentralized Control System (DCS). The OPM is a linear and therefore a simple estimation method. All of the calculations are performed in one pass, and no initial parameter guess, iteration, or powerful search methods are required. These features are of interest especially when the parameters of multi input-output model are estimated. The benefits of the OPM are revealed by comparing its results against those of two recently published methods based on pulse testing. The comparison is performed using two databases from the literature. These databases include single and multi input-output process transfer functions and relevant disturbances. The closed loop responses of these processes are roughly captured by the previous methods, whereas the OPM gives much more accurate results. If the parameters of a DCS are estimated, the OPM yields the same results in multi or single structure implementation. This is a novel feature, which indicates that the OPM is a convenient and practice method for the parameter estimation of multivariable DCSs.

  • Now days, the marketing environment is rapidly changed. Therefore, a lot of companies try to reduce production cost. Especially, Design is a important activities in new product development. While the concepts of design for manufacturable and concurrent engineering have made significant advances in integrating the design function with other areas in the firm. There are still major gaps in timely and accurate costing information available to designers. Inappropriate design could result in high redesign cost and delay in product relation. The generation of design and improvement is a time-consuming and mentally exhaustion process. It involves combining design features to generate as many potential design as possible. As not all features combinations are feasible, decision-makers have to narrow down the potential solutions and subsequently select appropriate design for further development. This new study is composed of 3 steps aiming at the Low Cost Design of the product. The three steps are consisted that setting up the target Cost, estimating the current functional cost, the design of a unit's reviewing according to the priority of the difference between the target cost and the functional cost.

Development of Fault Location Algorithm and Its Verification Experiments for HVDC Submarine Cables

  • A new fault location algorithm based on stationary wavelet transform and its verification experiment results are described for HVDC submarine cables in this paper. For wavelet based fault location algorithm, firstly, 4th level approximation coefficients decomposed by wavelet transform function are superimposed by correlation, then the distance to the fault point is calculated by time delay between the first incident signal and the second reflected signal. For the verification of this algorithm, the real experiments based on various fault conditions and return types of fault current are performed at HVDC submarine cable test yard located in KEPCO(Korea Electric Power Corporation) Power Testing Center of South Korea. It proves that the fault location method proposed in this paper is very simple but very quick and accurate for HVDC submarine cable fault location.

Secondary Voltage Control for Reactive Power Sharing in an Islanded Microgrid

  • Owing to mismatched feeder impedances in an islanded microgrid, the conventional droop control method typically results in errors in reactive power sharing among distributed generation (DG) units. In this study, an improved droop control strategy based on secondary voltage control is proposed to enhance the reactive power sharing accuracy in an islanded microgrid. In a DG local controller, an integral term is introduced into the voltage droop function, in which the voltage compensation signal from the secondary voltage control is utilized as the common reactive power reference for each DG unit. Therefore, accurate reactive power sharing can be realized without any power information exchange among DG units or between DG units and the central controller. Meanwhile, the voltage deviation in the microgrid common bus is removed. Communication in the proposed strategy is simple to implement because the information of the voltage compensation signal is broadcasted from the central controller to each DG unit. The reactive power sharing accuracy is also not sensitive to time-delay mismatch in the communication channels. Simulation and experimental results are provided to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

지오빗을 이용한 동해 가스하이드레이트 탄성파 자료처리 매개변수 분석 (Parameter analysis for gas hydrate data of East sea using Geobit)

  • A seismic survey for gas hydrate have performed over the East sea by the KIGAM since 1997. General indicator of gas hydrate in seismic data is commonly inferred from the BSR(Bottom Simulating Reflector) that occurred parallel to the sea floor, amplitude decrease at the top of the BSR, amplitude blanking at the bottom of the BSR, decrease of the interval velocity and the reflection phase reversal at the BSR. In this paper we had analyzed optimum parameters of the field data to detect the 9as hydrate. Shot delay correction is applied 95ms, spherical divergence correction is applied velocity library 3, bandpass filter is applied 25-30-115-120Hz deconvolution operator length is applied 60ms, lag is 6ms and accurate velocity analysis NMO correction, stack is performed. Geobit 2.11.0 developed by the KIGAM was used for all data processing. Processing results say that the BSR occurred parallel to the sea floor were shown at 3,150m/s of two way travel time from the sea floor through shot point 5,000-5,610, and identified the interval velocity decrease around BSR and the reflection phase reversal corresponding to the reflection at the sea floor.

Mobile-based Educational PLC Environment Construction Model

  • 본 논문에서는 시뮬레이션 프로그램 리소스의 일부를 모바일 환경으로 전환시킬 수 있는 모델을 제안한다. 최근 제조업에서 PLC를 컨트롤러로 사용하는 스마트 팩토리가 급속하게 확산되고 있다. 그러나 PLC 운영 인력의 부족으로 운영에 대한 어려움을 겪고 있는 상황으로, PLC 운영 교육에 대한 플랫폼이 필요한 실정이다. 현재 PLC와 관련된 대부분의 교육 플랫폼들은 2D를 기반으로 하고 있어 정확한 학습이 어렵고, 일반적인 PC 환경에서 시뮬레이션 프로그램들을 원격 교육에 적용하면, 모니터 상에 많은 요소가 표현되어 화면 전환이 불편하다. 제안 모델의 실험 결과 일반적인 상황에서 프레임 저하가 없다는 것의 확인하였고, 요청 프레임에 따른 응답 시간은 평균 102ms 으로 학습자가 시스템 지연을 체감할 수준은 아닌 것으로 판단하였다.

경계요소법을 이용한 SH형 초음파 원거리 산란장 해석에 관한 연구 (The Study on Scattered Far-Field Analysis of Ultrasonic SH-Wave Using Boundary Element Method)

  • 가장 널리 이용되고 있는 대표적인 비파괴 평가 기술들 중의 하나인 초음파 응용 기술은 각종 구조물에 존재하는 내부결함에 의한 산란신호를 통해 건전성을 평가하는 기법이므로 결함의 신뢰성 높은 정량적 평가를 위해서는 결함으로부터의 초음파 산란신호특성에 대한 기본적 이해가 필수적이며 따라서 이를 위한 모델링 수치해석 연구가 요구된다. 본 연구에서는 동탄성 경계요소법을 이용하여 무한체 내부에 존재하는 기공 결함에 의한 초음파 수평횡파의 근거리 및 원거리 산란특성에 대하여 결함으로부터의 거리 영향을 고려하여 해석하였다. 이때 경계요소해석으로 구한 주파수 영역의 원거리 산란장을 실제 결함 탐상시 관찰할 수 있는 시간영역의 신호로 나타내기 위하여 IFFT처리를 하였다. IFFT처리하여 얻은 파형으로부터 원형 기공결함과의 거리가 증가할수록 진폭은 감소하고 시간지연이 나타남을 알 수 있었다.
