최근 M&S 및 DM&S (Defense M&S) 환경의 복잡성이 높아짐에 따라 인간 등의 자율세력을 표현하기 위한 기술로 CGF/SAF (Computer Generated Force/Semi-Automated Force)가 주목 받고 있다. 그러나 기존의 OneSAF 과 같은 선진국의 CGF/SAF 기반 DM&S 환경은 DEVS 프레임워크 중심의 국내 DM&S 시스템과 유기적 연동이 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 DEVS M&S환경을 지원하는 에이전트 기반의 SAF 설계 방법론 및 모델링 도구를 제안하였다. 제안한 SAF 모델링 도구는 에이전트 모델링 GUI와 SAF 모델링 GUI로 나누어진다. 에이전트 모델링 환경은 간단한 UI를 활용한 규칙 입력만으로 에이전트를 생성할 수 있다. 또한 에이전트 단위테스트 환경을 추가하여 UI 기반의 에이전트 모델의 검증이 가능하다. SAF 모델을 생성하기 위한 환경으로 개개의 에이전트 모델들의 구조적 결합을 정의할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 연구의 모델링 도구 및 방법론을 통해 DM&S 연구자 및 개발자들이 DEVS 기반의 DM&S 및 SAF 시스템을 구축하는데 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

US DoD designated the High LEvel Architecture (HLA) as the standard technical architecture for all military simulation since 1996. HLA will supercede the current Distributed Interactive Simulation(DIS) and Aggregated LEvel Simulation Protocol(ALSP) methods by no funds for developing/modifying non-HLA compliant simulations. The new architecture specifies Rules which define relationships among federation components, an Objects Model Template which species the form which simulation elements are described, and an Interface Specification which describes the way simulations interact during operations. HLA is named as standard architecture in NATO, Australia and many other militaries. Also, it will be IEEE standard in the near future. It goes without saying that ROK military whose simulation models are almost from US must be prepared in areas such as ROK-US combined exercise, training, weapon system acquisition, interface models with C4I system, OPLAN analysis, operations, and os on. In this paper, we propose several effective alternatives and issues for ROK Defense Modeling and Simulation under the transition of new HLA architecture. Those include secure the kernel of new simulation technology and develop our own conceptual model, RTI software, prototype federation for each service and aggregated one. In order to challenge the new simulation architecture effectively, we should innovate our current defense modeling and simulation infrastructure such s manpower, organization, budget, research environment, relationships among academia and industry, and many others.

Recently, the military need more various education and training because of the increasing necessity of various operation. But the education and training of the military has the various difficulties such as the limitations of time, space and finance etc. In order to overcome the difficulties, the military use Defense Modeling and Simulation(DM&S). Although the participants in training has the empirical knowledge from education and training based on the simulation, the empirical knowledge is not shared because of particular characteristics of military such as security and the change of official. This situation obstructs the improving effectiveness of education and training. The purpose of this research is the systematizing and analysing the empirical knowledge using text mining and network analysis to assist the sharing of empirical knowledge. For analysing texts or documents as the empirical knowledge, we select the text mining and network analysis. We expect our research will improve the effectiveness of education and training based on simulation of DM&S.

1980년대 이후로 컴퓨터 산업의 급격한 발달과 함께 M&S 사용도 급속히 증가하고 있다. M&S를 사용하면 개발비용, 개발 기간 등을 단축시킬 수 있고, 현실적으로 시험이 불가능한 경우에도 M&S를 통하여 시험결과를 얻을 수 있다. 그러나 여기에는 중요한 전제조건이 있다. 그것은 개발 중에 있거나 사용 중에 있는 M&S를 믿을 수 있는냐? 하는 것이다. 본 논문은 VV&A 핵심개념과 국방분야 M&S 적용 및 VV&A 사례 등을 고찰하고, VV&A 적용 및 발전 방안을 제시하고자 한다.

A study for improvement of credibility on test & evaluation result of interoperability in battle management information system which focused in C4I systems is very essential in rapid change of battle field environment. Realization of effective operation process with integration of developed IT also core factor for reducing of operational response time such as information gathering from sensor to shooter, time for commander's decision making. Therefore, by required to meet of high technical T&E, meet of complex software's user requirement, long-term system development period, system integration ability's request by various linkage of systems, it is high a M&S dependency to optimal performance, interpoerability's guarantee. Especially credibility on test & evaluation using M&S is very important. This paper will propse a VV&A applied methods using other VV&A case to improve credibility of M&S on test & evaluation.

최근 국내외 국방여건은 국방예산의 감소에 대한 압박이 증가되고 있는 반 미래전장 양상에 효과적으로 대처할 수 있는 최첨단 무기의 확보에 대한 또한 증가되고 있는 현실이다. 이에 세계 각국은 국방모의체계(DM&S: Defense Modeling and Simulation)가 합리적인 국방분석에 의한 의사결정, 훈련효과의 극대화, 효율적인 무기체계 획득을 가능케 하는 효율적인 수단임을 인식하고, 자국의 여건에 적합한 국방모의분석 종합계획을 수립하고 하지만 국내에서는 국방모의분석에 대한 투자와 활용이 미흡한 실정이며, 현재 운용중인 대부분의 모형들도 국외에서 개발된 모형을 도입하여 군사력 평가와 훈련분야에 제한적으로 활용하고 있다. 그러나 국내에서도 1990년도 후반부터 독자적인 모형개발과 활용에 대한 필요성을 인식하고 이에 대한 투자가 제한적이나마 강조되고 있다. 본 고는 국내 국방모의분석 환경을 분석하고 한국여건에 적합한 국방모의분석 체계의 기반을 구축하기 위한 종합발전 방향을 제시하고자 한다.
