Group collaborative systems are recently emerging to support a group of users engaged in common tasks such as group decision making, engineering design, group scheduling, or collaborative writing. This paper provides an change management framework for the group collaborative system to facilitate managing dependency relationship between shared objects and dependent user views, and coordinating change and propagation activities between the two in distributed computing environments. Specifically, the framework adopts an object-oriented database paradigm and presents several object constructs capturing dependency management and change notification mechanisms. First, it introduces change management mechanisms with transient shared objects and secondly, it extends them into presistent object computing environment by integrating transaction management mechanisms and change notification mechanisms. A prototype change management framework is developed on a commercial object-oriented database management system.

This paper presents a study on the introduction of User Model-Based Dialogue System. Also we present a plan-based Korean dialogue system as a natural language database user interface for product search. The system can be characterized by its support for mixed initiative to give user more control over dialogue, employment of user model to reflect user's preferences, alternative solution suggestion if there is no product matched exactly to user's requirements, handling circumlocution which frequently occurs in dialogues. The user modeling shell system BGP-MS is adapted for the system. The system provides for a user-friendly database user interface by managing dialogue intelligently. By its implementation and test, it has been shown that the user model-based dialogue system can be utilized effectively for product search.

In the complexity and diversity of modern society, there is an urgent need for an information system which can systematically collect, manage and analyze data. Especially in the discipline of nursing, a nursing informarion system is necessary to maximize nursing resources and improve nursing care in the present system which is faced with increases in client needs and multiple changes in hospital environments. This research was done to provide a basis for the development of an integrative nursing information system for the future, by designing dababases items which were extracted from an analysis of the ward nursing information system on general wards excluding the OPD, ICU, OR and CSR with functions using a different system from the wards, and the design of output screen used the database items. The ward nursing information system was analysed through analysis of nursing practice related to recordings, such as the worksheet, kardex, and other nursing practice recordings, on 25 wards. The development of the database was the part of the construction of hospital information system and used the database development life cycle which is related to the system development life cycle. The database development steps included selection of database management system and design of a physical database following the principles of the order communication system which is been developing at Y University Hospital. Conceptual database and Logical database were designed using the base of 25 data items and fields derived from analysing the worksheet, the data items and fields derived from the kardex and other nursing practice recording, from these 19 data base tables were framed through transforming the relational database. Through this process, four types of output material for nursing practice recording which nurses can carry and use during their nursing practice were produced.

This study describes the development of a web-based system that collects all data generated in the research conducted to set pre-harvest residue limits (PHRLs) for agricultural product safety control. These data, including concentrations of pesticide residues, limit of detection, limit of quantitation, recoveries, weather charts, and growth rates, are incorporated into a database, a regression analysis of the data is performed using statistical techniques, and the PHRL for an agricultural product is automatically computed. The development and establishment of this system increased the efficiency and improved the reliability of the research in this area by standardizing the data and maintaining its accuracy without temporal or spatial limitations. The system permits automatic computation of the PHRL and a quick review of the goodness of fit of the regression model. By building and analyzing a database, it also allows data accumulated over the last 10 years to be utilized.

국방 연구개발은 사용군의 요구사항을 만족시키는 무기체계를 최단 기간, 최소 비용 및 고품질로 개발하고자 노력하고 있으며, 통합 데이터베이스 전산 환경 하에서 체계공학 및 동시공학을 체계적으로 구현하기 위한 연구개발 프로세스 및 도구들이 개발되고 있다. 항공 무기체계 분야에서 본 논문의 연구개발 과정에서 생성되는 기술 자료를 효율적으로 관리하기 위한 웹기반 체계운영관리시스템을 개발 및 운용하고 있으며, 기존 항공 무기체계 연구개발 사업에 적용하여 그 효율성을 입증 및 검증하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 체계운영관리시스템 기반으로 향후 개발 예정인 보라매 사업, 무인항공기 및 무인전투기에 적용 가능한 통합 연구개발 프레임웍(Framework) 및 통합 무기체계 데이터베이스 발전 방안에 대해서 기술한다. 또한, 연구소에서 운영 예정인 WISEMAN과의 연동 및 통합 방안에 대해서도 기술한다.

The purpose of this study is to develop a recruiting platform resolving the mismatch between corporate job and job finder's competence in recruitment market. For this, we investigated technological trends and limitation on recruit platform. Based on the findings, this study investigates the trends and directions related to recruiting platform evolution and identified critical success factors and development strategies for successful development of recruiting platform. Two development strategies include employment of online resume and construction of database assessing job finder's competence. We also proposed target system architecture incorporating job database, competency assessment form, capability oriented resume. To analyze user requirement national competency standards and core job capability evaluation model were analyzed. Next, we designed integrated database, user interfaces, and dynamic functionalities using the forms developed in earlier stage. Finally, we assessed the fidelity of form item, integrity of database, and the usability of interface to evaluate the effectiveness of the system.

The multi-projective model considers attributes and the relationships among attributes called projections. The critical features of the multi-projective model are the way of relating attributes in the description of the system, the way of reasoning incomplete projections, and the determination of connected patterns between projection. In order to get a full picture of the system, we build a set of projections. The multi-projective model can be thought of as projections of a multi-dimensional reality onto simplified “model space”. The multi-projective database modeling approach used in this paper unified the ideas and terminology of various database models. Most importantly, the multi-projective modeling is presented as a tool of database design in the relational and other database models.

데이타베이스 설계는 데이타베이스의 기본틀과 조직을 논리적으로 구성해주는 것으로 사용자의 요구와 응용분야, 다양한 데이타간의 관계성, 데이타와 적용분야간의 관계성 등을 고려하여 설정된다. 도로망데이타는 각 구간들의 현황을 파악하고 시의 다른 데이타들과 연결하는데 필요한 다수의 데이타 요소를 가지므로 기하학적 위상구조를 가지는 구조화된 도로 데이타베이스가 만들어져야 한다. 본 고에서는 도로관리 종합관리를 위한 도로망 데이타베이스 구축방안을 제시하고자 한다.

본 연구의 목적은 GSIS를 이용한 상수도시설물 데이터베이스 구축과 관리시스템의 개발에 있다. 상수도관의 변류시설을 효과적으로 구축하기 위해 GSIS 데이터모델인 라우트시스템과 이벤트 테이블을 활용하는 기법을 적용하였으며, 개발된 관리시스템을 실제로 적용하여 기존의 일반 상수도시설 관리방법과 업무효율성, 정보탐색비용, 데이터베이스 관리효율성 측면에서 비교 분석하였다. 또한, 개발한 상수도관리시스템과 다른 2개 지방자치단체의 시스템들을 기능, 처리속도, 및 운영의 편리성 측면에서 비교 고찰하였다. 업무모델의 일반화는 국내 3개 지방자치단체의 상수도시스템에 대한 자료를 기초로 하여 시도하였고 일반화된 업무모델은 광역상수도시스템의 업무모델로 보완한 다음 이를 다른 2개 지방자치단체의 상수도 업무모델과 비교 분석하였다. 향후 지방자치단체에서 GSIS에 의한 상수도시설물 관리 시스템을 구축할 경우, 본 연구에서 일반화 된 업무모델을 이용한다면 좀 더 효율적이고 경제적으로 구축할 수 있을 것이다.

위성 통신 기술의 발달로 국부적으로 수행되던 위치 추적의 범위가 전 세계로 확산되었다. 하지만 기존의 물류 관제 시스템들은 관제 서버와 물류간의 통신을 위하여 휴대폰 통신망을 이용하기 때문에 일부 지역 내에서 이동하는 물류에 대해서만 관제가 가능하다. 이 논문에서는 위성 통신을 이용하여 전 세계를 이동하는 물류 매체인 냉동 컨테이너의 위치 및 상태 정보를 관리하기 위한 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안 시스템은 냉동 컨테이너의 상태를 직접 관제하는 데이터 수집부, 관제 서버와의 통신을 담당하는 위성 통신부, 냉동 컨테이너 정보를 관리하는 관제부로 구성된다. 시스템의 관제부에서는 냉동 컨테이너의 위치 추적 및 관제를 효과적으로 수행하기 위하여 기존의 TB 트리를 기반으로 하는 다중 버전 이동 객체 색인을 사용하였다. 제안된 냉동 컨테이너 관제시스템은 화주, 운송회사 등 육해상 물류관련 기관에서 냉동컨테이너 및 선박 위치추적, 컨테이너 통제, 컨테이너 통계 등 다양한 용도로 사용될 수 있어 화주에게는 컨테이너 운송에 대한 서비스를 제공하며, 선사에게는 선박안전경보시스템, 선박 관리, 냉동컨테이너를 효율적인 관리 기능을 제공하게 한다.
