In order to achieve a successful introduction of CALS, an enterprise model which is a concise description of what an enterprise does is required. The enterprise model mainly consists of a process model and a data model. The process model describes processes that create, change, combine, or destroy the entities within the enterprise. Several process modeling methodologies have been proposed. Each modeling methodology requires its own modeling view point, elements, and syntax. In developing a process model for CALS, these models created at different view points are required to analyze and design a system in a broad view. This paper aims at proposing an integration methodology for a process model. Specifically, IDEF0, IDEF3, and Petri Net are considered to be integrated. An IDEF0 model describing static functions of enterprise is transformed to an IDEF3 model describing behaviour of a system with additional information. Also, the IDEF3 model is transformed to a Petri Net model. These transformations will be automatically accomplished once the additional information for the transformation is provided.

As the multimedia application services have been getting various in Internet, need of multimedia database management system which can manage various multimedia information effectively has been increased. The multimedia application generally needs the features to store, manage, retrieve the multimedia data. We need a database management system framework that may be easily integrated with these features. This paper proposes th database management system framework providing the easy integration with various multimedia information retrieval. The framework uses OQL as the retrieval interface, so that user can use it easily. It can be integrated dynamically and easily with various multimedia retrieval method as a loosely coupled system. In addition there is no performance degradation caused in a loosely coupled system.

인터넷의 비약적인 발달로 인해 복잡해진 지식체계에 따른 다양해진 정보를 손쉽게 구할수 있게 되었으나, HTML(Hyper Text Markup Language)과 같은 정적인 텍스트 위주의 고정된 내용의 웹 페이지 저작으로는 멀티미디어에 대한 점차 증대되는 사용자의 요구를 수용할 수 없게 되었다. 시간에 기반을 둔 멀티미디어 객체를 동기화 하는 효과적이 프레젠테이션을 기술할 수 있는 SMIL(Synchronized Multimedia Integration Language)이 W3C (World Wide Web Consortium)에 의해 제안되었다. 이러한 SMIL은 선언적 마크업(Markup) 언어이므로 텍스트 편집기 등으로 쉽게 저작할 수 있으나, 태그(Tag)기반 언어이므로 태그를 암기하고 사용법을 숙지하여야만 효과적인 멀티미디어 프레젠테이션 제작이 가능하다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 본 논문에서는 Java를 기반으로 하여 사용자 편의적인 GUI(Graphical User Interface)에 입각한 멀티미디어 데이터의 통합 및 동기화를 위한 SMIL 전용 저작도구의 구현 및 향후 개발 방향을 제시하였다.

In this research, we will accomplish the investigation of the devices and data models which are used in the existing indoor and outdoor systems. Based on the investigation, we will seize the additional requirements for the integration of the legacy system and then we will propose the various methods which support the additional requirements. By applying the various methods in the heterogeneous environments, we will solve the legacy problems and propose the methods for the final goal that is to provide the seamless moving object tracking. The scope of this research is to propose the integration methods, developing the actual location tracking system model without modifying the legacy infrastructures.

Poisson generalized linear mixed models(GLMMs) have been widely used for the analysis of clustered or correlated count data. For the inference marginal likelihood, which is obtained by integrating out random effects is often used. It gives maximum likelihood(ML) estimator, but the integration is usually intractable. In this paper, we propose how to obtain the ML estimator via Laplace approximation based on hierarchical-likelihood (h-likelihood) approach under the Poisson GLMMs. In particular, the h-likelihood avoids the integration itself and gives a statistically efficient procedure for various random-effect models including GLMMs. The proposed method is illustrated using two practical examples and simulation studies.

We measured thin films thickness sputtered from Cu target in the magnetron sputter system. Thin films thickness is thin as integration power in target is large. Cu thin films thickness in 100 kWh integration watt was decreased by 20% when that of beginning was compared. But the shape of thin films thickness distribution was same. For the calculation of thin films thickness distribution in the 100 kWh, the angular distribution data sputtered of Cu particles is necessary when Ar ions enter to inclined erosion surface of Cu target. We used the relation results of sputter yield and main angular distribution of sputtering particles emitted from Cu target published by G. Betz.

[1] and [2] present an approach to diagnosing possible defects in the mechanical systems of a nuclear power plant. In this paper, by using a fault library as a database and training data, we develop a diagnostic algorithm 1) to decide whether an Air Operated Valve system is sound or not and 2) to identify the defect from which an Air-Operated Valve system suffers, if any. This algorithm is composed of three stages: a neural net stage, a non-neural net stage, and an integration stage. The neural net stage is a simple perceptron, a pattern-recognition module, using a neural net. The non-neural net stage is a simple pattern-matching algorithm, which translates the degree of matching into a corresponding number. The integration stage collects each output and makes a decision. We present a simulation result and confirm that the developed algorithm works accurately, if the input matches one in the database.

방대한 웹 페이지의 홍수 속에서, 의미상 서로 연관되었지만 산재되어 있는 정보들을 사용자에게 효과적으로 제공하기란 그리 쉽지 않다. 웹 페이지에서 질적으로 향상된 정보를 얻기 위해서는, 이질적이지만 서로 연관된 의미를 갖는 데이터들을 하나로 융합하는 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이질적인 형태로 이루어진 다수의 웹 페이지들을 XML 기반의 메타데이터(metadata)로 융합하여 사용자에게 제공하는 방법을 제시한다. 본 논문에서 제안한 시스템에서 메타데이터는 온톨로지와 OWL을 이용하여 융합된다. 또한 제시한 방법을 검증하기 위해 지역정보 중 부동산을 사례를 들어 시스템을 구현한다. 구현된 시스템은 각기 다른 데이터를 가지고 있는 다수의 웹 페이지를 하나의 웹 페이지로 통합하는 과정을 거쳐 XML 문서 형태로 사용자에게 제공한다.

Information Systems Planning(ISP) has gained considerable interest among researchers and practioners in recent years because of the impact of information systems on organization performance. This study aims at analyzing organizational characteristic factors, information system characteristic factors influencing ISP's performance. The organizational characteristic variables are considered organizational strategy, organizational culture, and managerial leadership. And the IS characteristic variables are considered IS resource and IS strategic role. The ISP's performance variables are measured BP-ISP integration effectiveness and ISP efficiency. For data on the 493 sampled company, a mail survey using a questionnaire was conducted in this study. The following results were obtained. First, there was significant relationship between organizational characteristics and ISP's performance. Specially, organizational strategy and organizational culture affect the both of BP-ISP integration effectiveness and ISP efficiency. Second, there was significant relationship between Information Systems characteristics and ISP's performance. Specially, IS resource and IS strategic role affect ISP efficiency.

This paper purports to investigate the statistical basic principles through "TRIZ-used 6-sigma integrated activity design" and further, to raise "the importance of measuring technical innovative activities based on 6-sigma integrated design methodology by organization". This paper intends to investigate how the activities of the best conditions, which are necessary for the stage of 6-sigma design, are chosen in the TPM-based 6-sigma integration activities. And it will examine the options, when used together with other technique, in the probability statistical methodology. Through the combination of the situations which are chosen when activity techniques, which are mostly used for production and technology, and 6-sigma integration activities are used together, it intends to practically use as the basic data for company standards.
