생태도시 조성을 위한 통합폐기물 관리방안 - 전과정평가(LCA) 기법의 응용 - (Integrated Solid Waste Management in Ecopolis -Applying LCA-)

  • Applicability of LCA in establishing the integrated solid waste management were examined. Data were collected from current waste management system. LCA method was then applied to find environmentally sustainable waste management. The process comprises five steps : (1) collecting data, comparing the data with comprehensive urban planning as well, (2) analyzing the current waste treatment procedure leading to the database establishment, (3) LCA for the waste management system, (4) finding alternative scenarios based on the former steps, (5) establishing the optimum method in Ecopolis, best fitted to the local situation. The results and suggestions in this study are expected to yield comprehensive analysis as to current practices in waste management. More importantly it will be a valuable data in minimizing environmental burdens in connecting with living environments of Ecopolis. Information regarding the urban system and total environmental quality are expected from this study.

  • Most recently, offshore Engineering & Construction field is concerned about integration management technology such as CIM(Computer Integrated Manufacturing), PDM(Product Data Management) and Enterprise Information Engineering in order to cope with the rapid change of engineering and manufacturer specification as per owner's requirement during construction stage of the project. System integration and integrated data modeling with relational database in integration management technology improve the quality of product and reduce the period of the construction project by reason of owing design information jointly. This paper represents the design methodology of system integration using Business Process Reengineering by the case study. The case study is about the offshore plant material information process from front end engineering design to detail engineering for the construction and the basis of monitoring system by integrating and sharing the design information between the 2D intelligent P&ID and 3D plant modeling using relational database. As a result of the integrated data modeling and system integration, it is possible to maintain the consistency of design process in point of view of the material balancing and reduce the design assumption/duration. Near future, this system will be expanded and connected with the MRP(Material Requirement Planing) and the POR (Purchase Order Requisition) system.

웹 기반 네트워크 근태 관리 시스템 개발 (Development of Web-based Network Diligence and Indolence Management System)

  • 기존의 근태관리시스템은 서버와 클라이언트가 분리되어 있지 않고, 데이터가 데이터베이스화 되어있지 않기 때문에 데이터 가공 및 관리 등에 있어서 많은 취약점을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점들을 보완 해결한 새로운 웹기반 네트워크 근태관리 시스템을 제안 개발한다. 제안 개발 설계된 시스템의 주요한 특징 및 기여도는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 서버와 클라이언트를 분리하고 모든 데이터를 데이터베이스화 한다. 둘째, APM 서버를 구축하여 데이터의 가공 및 관리를 효율적으로 한다. 셋째, 근태관리 시스템의 정책적인 설정을 한다. 넷째, 근태관리 데이터 수집 및 휴무일 집계 업무등 사용자 위주의 서비스를 제공한다. 구현 및 성능평가 결과 제안된 웨기반 네트워크 근태관리 시스템은 효율적으로 근태관리를 지원할 수 있음을 알 수 있으며, 제안된 시스템은 현재 실제적인 현장에 적용하여 사용 중에 있다.

  • This study aimed to provide data for establishment of resource management system of Iriomote Island in Okinawa Japan. Nature resource management system of Iriomote Island can be categorized into eight stages which are equivalent to regional development stages. 1) Networking among local people, tourists, researchers, tour operators and government authorities enhanced collection of resource data. 2) On the early stage, resource data were available only to researchers and government authorities. From the third stage of this system, however, local people were also involved in resource investigation, so they became to well recognize the values of their local resources. 3) On the sixth stage, data on unfamiliar local resources and attractions became to be known to people by real-time data collection and data provision services. The tourist number gradually increased and their visitation patterns were dispersed into different sites and seasons. In addition, some tourists also participated in resource investigation and they were likely to visit the place again. 4) To achieve successful ecotourism development, it is necessary to establish a management system with a feed-back process to identify, evaluate, use and protect the resources.

  • 최근 기업 데이터의 약 80%가 공간적인 요소를 포함하고 있다는 사실이 크게 부각됨에 따라 고객 관계 관리(Customer Relationship Management, CRM) 시스템에 공간 데이터를 활용하고자 하는 새로운 분석 방법에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 하지만 전통적인 CRM 시스템은 공간 데이터를 관리하거나 공간 데이터를 이용한 사용자 환경을 제공하기에 부적합하다. 본 논문에서는 레거시 CRM 시스템과 객체 지향 데이터베이스를 이용하여 엔터프라이즈 데이터와 공간 데이터의 통합관리가 가능하고 gCRM(geographic CRM)을 위한 시각화 및 분석기능을 지원하는 공간 데이터 통합관리 시스템을 설계 및 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 시스템 구축을 통하여 기 구축된 CRM 시스템에 공간 데이터 관리 및 분석이 가능한 gCRM을 효과적으로 적용할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

An Intelligent Exhibition Rule Management System using PMML

  • Recently, the exhibition industry has developed rapidly with the development of information technologies. Most exhibitors in an exhibition plan and deploy many events that may provide advantages to visitors as a method of effective promotion. The growth and propagation of wireless technologies is a powerful marketing tool for exhibitors. However, exhibitors still rely on domain experts who are costly and time consuming because of the manual knowledge input procedure. Moreover, it is prone to biases and errors and not suitable for managing fast-growing and tremendous amounts of data that far exceed a human's ability to comprehend. To overcome these problems, data mining technology may be a great alternative, but it needs to be fit to each exhibition. This study uses data mining technology with the Predictive Model Markup Language (PMML) to suggest a system that supports intelligent services and that improves stakeholder satisfaction. This system provides advantages to the exhibitor, show organizer, and system designer, and is first enhanced by integrating data mining technologies through the knowledge of exhibition experts. Second, using the PMML, the system can automate the process of applying data mining models to solve real-time processing problems in the exhibition environment.

  • Data mining is a useful tool for analyzing data from different perspectives and for summarizing them into useful information. Recently, the data mining methods are applied to solving quality problems of the manufacturing processes. This paper discusses the problems of construction of a quality mining system, which is based on the various data mining methods. The quality mining system includes recipe optimization, significant difference test, finding critical processes, forecasting the yield. The contents and system of this paper are focused on the TFT-LCD manufacturing process. We also provide some illustrative field examples of the quality mining system.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the direct relationship between doctors and number of patients to be treated by applying many kinds of IE techniques. Generally, doctors in this research work both at Out Patient Data & In Patient Data. Under the hospital management system that they are applying in, doctor's daily working schedules are instable because the number of OPD patients daily. Therefore, the amount of time they spend for inward patients are variable too. So the numbers of patients have great influence to the whole hospital system management.

  • In this paper, development of TIM Module for constructing PDM will be introduced. Technical information relevant product data influences cost, quality, precision and productivity. One of the very important feature of product data is organizing not by oneself but very closed to many technical information such as document, file, image and analysis sheet. To manage various technical information, several kinds of management system are used in multi level of production system. PDM and TIM systems are being developed for suitable purpose and are in need of Network technology, Information Technology, Database, sharing and distributing information. Developed TIM system is based on Web environment. By using this system, we can manage systematic technical information and reduce cost for constructing PDM system. And also we will put to practical use another technical information management system for mold plant.
