사진앨범을 위한 MAF 기반 통합 미디어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Integrated Media using MAF for Photo Album)

  • 본 논문은 사진 앨범을 위하여 미디어 리소스(media resource)와 그에 따른 메타데이터(meta-data)를 통합하는 새로운 미디어 응용 형식을 제안한다. 이는 메타데이터를 JPEG과 같은 사진 미디어와 같이 상호 호환적인 데이터로 만듦으로써, 메타데이터의 재 사용성을 높이는 동시에 사용자가 많은 양의 사진을 앨범으로 구성하기 용이하게 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 제안하는 통합 미디어 형식은 최근 MPEG에서 논의되고 있는 멀티미디어 응용 형식인 MAF(Multimedia Application)를 기반으로 한다. 본 논문은 JPEG과 같은 사진 리소스와 사진과 관련된 MPEG-7기반 메타데이터를 통합하는 미디어의 구조를 제안하고, 통합 미디어를 생성 및 해석할 수 있는 부호기(encoder) 및 복호기(decoder)를 개발하여 제안된 통합 미디어의 효용성을 검증하였다.

손상된 ZIP 파일 복구 기법 (A Method of Recovery for Damaged ZIP Files)

  • 압축파일 형식으로 가장 많이 쓰이는 PKZIP형식은 ZIP 파일뿐만 아니라 MS Office 파일과 안드로이드 스마트폰의 어플리케이션 파일 등에서 사용되는 파일형식이다. 이처럼 다양한 영역에서 널리 쓰이는 PKZIP 형식의 파일은 디지털 포렌식 관점에서 구조분석이 필수적이고 파일이 손상된 경우 복구를 할 수 있어야 한다. 하지만 기존 연구들의 경우 ZIP 파일에서 사용하는 Deflate 압축 알고리즘이 적용된 데이터를 복구하거나 의미 있는 데이터를 추출해 내는 것에만 초점이 맞춰져 있다. 비록 대부분의 데이터가 ZIP 파일의 압축된 데이터에 존재하지만 그 외의 영역에서도 포렌식적으로 의미 있는 데이터가 존재하기 때문에 정상적인 ZIP 파일 형태로 복구를 해야 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 손상된 ZIP 파일이 주어졌을 때 이를 정상적인 형태의 ZIP 파일로 복구하는 기법을 제시한다.

DMB AF 기반 3D 콘텐츠의 MPEG-DASH 서비스 (MPEG-DASH Services for 3D Contents Based on DMB AF)

  • 지상파 DMB 콘텐츠를 위한 국제 표준 파일 포맷인 DMB AF(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting Application Format) 표준을 확장하여 2D 비디오와 2D 대화형 서비스 데이터, 즉 MPEG-4 BIFS(Binary Format for Scene) 데이터뿐만 아니라 스테레오스코픽 비디오와 스테레오스코픽 BIFS 데이터를 함께 담아 2D/3D 비디오 및 2D/3D BIFS 프레젠테이션이 시간적으로 혼용될 수 있게 하는 방식이 최근 제안된 바 있다. 본 논문에서는 이렇게 확장된 DMB AF 형식의 파일로 주어진 3D 콘텐츠를 MPEG-DASH(Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP) 표준을 이용하여 스트리밍하는 서비스를 개발하고 이에 해당하는 클라이언트 소프트웨어를 구현하여 이 서비스를 검증하였다.

Distribution of Brand Love, Brand Coolness, Self-brand Connections and Word-of-mouth Toward the Retail Format of Starbuck in Ho Chi Minh City

  • Purpose: This study aims to analyze the effects of Brand Coolness, Brand Love, and Self-brand Connections on Word-of-mouth positively. The retail format of Starbuck in Vietnam is successful in distribution applied when it becomes the place for customers to express themselves. Consumers are now aware about Brand Coolness of the Starbucks developed in Vietnam then turn to love the brand of store and connect themselves to the brand. In this study, the closest relationship to form the basis for consumer Word-of-mouth about a brand is the relationship between Brand Coolness and Brand Love. Results: The findings show that Brand Coolness and Brand Love are important value factors in customers' minds toward their behavior, form there, it will contribute to the brand store in distribution. Research design, data and methodology: This article used the quantitative technique utilizing PLS-SEM software to test the hypothesis with 600 samples. The data obtained shows that people have Word-of-mouth about the retail format of Starbucks in Ho Chi Minh City. Conclusion: The study has demonstrated the conclusions and proposed solutions to help beverage brands build Brand Love, thereby achieving coolness, connecting brands with themselves, leading to customer Word-of-mouth in a positive way towards retail format.

Encoding of XML Elements for Mining Association Rules

  • Mining of association rules is to find associations among data items that appear together in some transactions or business activities. As of today, algorithms for association rule mining, as well as for other data mining tasks, are mostly applied to relational databases. As XML being adopted as the universal format for data storage and exchange, mining associations from XML data becomes an area of attention for researchers and developers. The challenge is that the semi-structured data format in XML is not directly suitable for traditional data mining algorithms and tools. In this paper we present an encoding method to encode XML tree-nodes. This method is used to store the XML data in Value Table and Transaction Table that can be easily accessed via indexing. The hierarchical relationship in the original XML tree structure is embedded in the encoding. We applied this method to association rules mining of XML data that may have missing data.

  • This paper is the study of methodology for development of interface structure modules for an integrated system or steel framework structures. For development of the modules, it is used that data translation for the Steel Detail Neutral File(SDNF) format and the methodology have contacted individual systems in integrated system. The point of methology is translated system interface data with ASCⅡ format of system output and is presented with EXPRESS-G schema model. In the future, these neutral format will use structural design, engineering, facilities management, fabrication, etc. Therefore such a series of neutral formants is valuable to development of all structure fields.

  • This study is the part of development of information management system for irrigation facilities. It describes the design and prototype presentation of WISIF(Web-based geographic Information System for Irrigation Facilities). WISIF manages the IFDB(Irrigation Facilities DataBase) and offers geographic information of irrigation facilities from IFSDB(Irrigation Facilities Spatial DataBase) through World Wide Web. GeoMedia Web Map software of Intergraph is used to offer geographic information to users. GeoMedia Web Map generates vector format, so called ActivCGM. The file generated in ActiveCGM format can be downloaded fast since its size is so small and generated as an interactive map file since its format supports hyperlink.

  • Many researchers have proposed the various methods to detect illegal intrusion in order to improve internet environment. Among these researches, IDS(Intrusion Detection System) is classified the most common model to protect network security. In this paper, we propose new log format instead of Apache log format for SSL integrity verification. We translate file-DB log format into R-DB log format. Using these methods we can manage Web server's integrity, and log data is transmitted verification system to be able to perform both primary function of IDS and Web server's integrity management at the same time. The proposed system in this paper is also able to use for wire and wireless environment based on PDA.

A Low-Complexity and High-Quality Image Compression Method for Digital Cameras

  • This letter proposes a new near-lossless image compression method with only one line buffer cost for a digital camera with Bayer format image. For such format data, it can provide a low average compression rate (4.24bits/pixel) with high-image quality (larger than 46.37dB where the error of every pixel is less than two). The experimental results show that the near-lossless compression method has better performance than JPEG-LS (lossless) with ${\delta}$ = 2 for a Bayer format image.

중립파일 기반의 조선소 시뮬레이션 환경에 관한 연구 (An Approach for Construction of Shipyard Simulation Environment based on Neutral File Format)

  • In shipbuilding, the scheduling system is susceptible to sudden changes and thus it turns to be difficult to predict the differences between schedule and production records in advance. A computer-based simulation is commonly utilized to overcome the discrepancies occurred in estimating workloads and resulting processing times. The main drawback of this simulation-based solution is its limited applicability because, in most cases, each shipyard requires specific and customized simulation environment. By standardizing the planning data of the midterm scheduling system, as proposed in this paper, the efficiency of the current simulation model can be enhanced. To present an alternative approach, this paper begins with the analysis of the complex planning data structure of several shipyards and then proceeds to construct a standard data structure based on the neutral format. An interface application is developed for the data transaction and simulation in on-line environment. As a result, a simulation-based production management of shipyards can be achieved by the efficient prediction of planning and scheduling.
