Through the development of efficient data collecting technologies like RFID, and inter-enterprise collaboration platforms such as web services, companies which participate in supply chains can acquire visibility over the whole supply chain, and can make decisions to optimize the overall supply chain networks and processes, based on the extracted knowledge from historical data collected by the visibility system. Although not currently active, the MeatWatch system has been developed, and is used in part for this purpose, in the imported beef distribution network in Korea. However, the imported beef distribution network is too complicated to analyze its various aspects using ordinary process analysis approaches. In this paper, we suggest a novel approach, called RFID-based supply chain process mining, to automatically discover and analyze the overall supply chain processes from the distributed RFID event data, without any prior knowledge. The proposed approach was implemented and validated, by using a case study of the imported beef distribution network in Korea. Specifically we demonstrated that the proposed approach can be successfully applied to discover supply chain networks from the distributed event data, to simplify the supply chain networks, and to analyze anomaly of the distribution networks. Such novel process mining functionalities can reinforce the capability of traceability services like MeatWatch in the future.
VOCs have been used as the most definitive resource to reflect customer feedback when developing products and services. However, due to the development of the Internet and the emergence of SNS, VOC is no longer the only channel that represents customer opinions. There are also a number of studies showing that many customers express complaints through channels other than VOCs. In this paper, we analyze the difference between the official VOC data and the data collected through the external channel, and suggest ways to reflect the various opinions of customers. To do this, this study uses keyword analysis that can identify differences according to frequency through social network, modular analysis to distinguish topics according to centrality and similarity, and emotional analysis to confirm word polarity (positive and negative). The results of this study show that the opinions of the customers were different depending on channels such as VOCs and external channels. Therefore, the collected data through VOC as well as external channels should be used in order to reflect the opinions of customers. In particular, this paper confirms that the results of one channel may vary depending on the channel characteristics even for the same channel. This confirms that collecting voc only on certain channels may differ from what real customers require. Therefore, data collected through VOCs as well as external channels must be used to reflect various customer feedback.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify and assess from nursing students and nurses in the clinical field what constitute good instruction, through the review of nursing students' opinions and clinical field demands. Methods: The study design was used Creswell's exploratory sequential design by collecting and analyzing qualitative data obtained from interviews and then analysis of quantitative data. The participations were 79 seniors in nursing schools and 85 nurses with less than three years of clinical experience. The data were collected through individual interviews and analyzed based on Elo and Kyngas's content analysis method. The quantitative data were collected using the questionnaire developed based on qualitative results and analyzed by SPSS 23.0 program and Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Results: The results showed that IPA extracted seven items with high importance but low satisfaction: "nursing fads and trends," "teacher-learner communication and reflection," "materials used in clinical settings such as monitoring results and test results," "special presentations by experienced practitioners," "instruction assures learners' comprehension," "accurate and detailed evaluation standards" and "feedback on homework and exam." Conclusion: The factors comprising good instruction were verified, and the necessity for additional efforts to improve high importance and low performance factors was noted. Therefore, this study can serve as a guide for nursing education facilities and educators in developing of a thorough education system with excellent instruction designed to achieve an ideal nursing education.
This article demonstrated the application of the Fuzzy Data Envelopment Analytical Hierarchy Process (FDEAHP) to evaluate the root causes of critical defect problems occurring in the production of liquid medicine. The methodology of the research began by collecting the defect data by using Check Sheets, and ranking the significant problems by using a Pareto Diagram. Two types of major problems were found to occur, including glass fragments in the medicine and damaged lid threads. The causes of each problem were then analyzed by using Cause and Effect Diagrams. The significant causes were ranked by FDEAHP under three criteria, Severity (S), Occurrence (O) and Detection (D), followed by the framework of the FMEA Technique. Two causes with the highest Final Weight (FW) of each problem were selected to be improved, such as installing auxiliary equipment, using the Poka-Yoke system, setting the scale of the shaft and lathing the bushes of each bottle size. The results demonstrated a reduction in defects from 3.209% to 1.669% and showed that improving a few significant root causes, identified by an experienced decision maker, was sufficient to reduce the defect rate.

One key step in the plant restoration process is the collection of seeds from the field. For the selection of source populations of target plant species for translocation purposes (reintroduction or reinforcements), several approaches are possible. A practical method involves the use of data from reciprocal transplant studies. If no direct data are available, knowledge of population genetics and the phylogeography of the target species can serve as an alternative. In this short review, we briefly propose guidelines for those collecting seeds for plant species restoration based on population genetics theory, focusing on two main questions: Where does the plant material come from and how are sources designated, and how are seeds efficiently collected from local populations? While genetic data on a larger scale (phylogeography and population genetics) are needed to form a reply to the first question, similar data on a smaller scale (fine-scale genetic structures within populations) are necessary to shed light on the second issue.
Near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy has been widely applied in various field, since it is nondestructive and no sample preparation is required. In this paper, NIR spectroscopy was used for the determination of naproxen in a commercial pharmaceutical preparation. NIR spectroscopy was used to determine the content of naproxen in intact naproxen tablets containing 250 mg ($65.8\%$ nominal concentration) by collecting NIR spectra in the range of $1100{\sim}1750nm$. The laboratory-made samples had $46.1{\sim}85.5\%$ nominal naproxen concentration. The measurements were made by reflection using a fiber-optic probe and calibration was carried out by partial least square regression (PLSR). Model validation was performed by randomly splitting the data set into calibration and validation data set (63 samples as a calibration data set and 42 samples as a validation data set). The developed NIR calibration gave results comparable to the known values of tablets in a laboratorial manufacturing process with standard error of calibration (SEC) and standard error of prediction (SEP) of $1.06\%\;and\;1.04\%$, respectively. The NIR method showed good accuracy and repeatability. NIR spectroscopic determination in intact tablets allowed the potential use of real time monitoring for a running production process.

In biology the advent of the high-throughput technology for sequencing, probing, or screening has produced huge volume of data which could not be manually handled. Biologists have resorted to software tools in order to effectively handle them. This paper introduces a bioinformatics tool to help biologists find potentially interesting pathway maps from a transcriptome data set in which the expression levels of genes are described for both case and control samples. The tool accepts a transcriptome data set, and then selects and categorizes some of genes into four classes using a fuzzy filtering technique where classes are defined by membership functions. It collects and edits the pathway maps related to those selected genes without analyst' intervention. It invokes a sequence of web service functions from KEGG, which an online pathway database system, in order to retrieve related information, locate pathway maps, and manipulate them. It maintains all retrieved pathway maps in a local database and presents them to the analysts with graphical user interface. The tool has been successfully used in identifying target genes for further analysis in transcriptome study of human cytomegalovirous. The tool is very helpful in that it can considerably save analysts' time and efforts by collecting and presenting the pathway maps that contain some interesting genes, once a transcriptome data set is just given.

Since the solar energy resource is the main input for sizing any solar photovoltaic system, it is essential to utilize the solar radiation data as an application and development of solar energy system increase. It will be necessary to understand and evaluate the insolation data. The Korea Institute of Energy Research(KIER) has begun collecting horizontal global insolation data since May, 1982 at 16 different locations in Korea and for the more detailed analysis, images taken by geostationary satellite may be used to estimate solar irradiance fluxes at earth"s surface. It is based on the empirical correlation between a satellite derived cloud index and the irradiance at the ground. From the results, the measured data has been collected at 16 different stations and estimated using satellite at 23 different stations over the South Korea from 1982 to 2009. The Result of analysis shows that the annual-average daily global radiation on the horizontal surface is 3.56 kWh/ $m^2$/day and estimated solar radiation fluxes show reliable results for estimating the global radiation with average deviation of -7.27 to +3.65% from the measured values.
