In this paper, the mechanical performance of cracked surface-coated Zircaloy cladding, which has different coating materials, coating thicknesses and initial crack lengths, has been investigated. By analyzing the stress field near the crack tip, the safety zone range of initial crack length has been decided. In order to determine whether the crack can propagate along the radial (r) or axial (z) directions, the energy release rate has been calculated. By comparing the energy release rate with fracture toughness of materials, we can divide the initial crack lengths into three zones: safety zone, discussion zone and danger zone. The results show that Cr is suitable coating material for the cladding with a thin coating while Fe-Cr-Al have a better fracture mechanical performance in the cladding with thick coating. The Si-coated and SiC-coated claddings are suitable for reactors with low power fuel elements. Conclusions in this paper can provide reference and guidance for the cladding design of nuclear fuel elements.
In this research, the goal is to ascertain the potential danger when transporting hazardous material by considering the important elements that contribute to such situation, instead of relying on the quantitative risk assessment of fixed facilities. Also, this study will verify the social and personal risk according to damage zone limits, by applying the worst case scenario and the alternative scenario that occur during the transportation process. Moreover, it has selected the optimum transportation route for maximum safety. The result of this research could be used to construct a systematic emergency system that can minimize the damage from serious industrial accidents, by effectively decreasing the danger zone and forming a connection between the community, the society, and the industries according to such evaluations.

Nowaday, many people study about Black-Out. In this paper, I introduce how to calculate the Dangerous Index against Black-Out, and prediction of Distance relay error action on Zone 3. we consider the real data by I-PIU which will be set on the system. The dangerous Index is calculated three index about Cascading. The prediction of Distance relay is considered by other facilities of power system. This two algorithm can be used on the center system, when the system is on danger, also on the normal states for security.

Defense systems are needed to prevent catastrophic failures of a power grid due to cascaded events. Cascaded events can be attributed to improper operations of protective relays. Especially, it is the most dangerous problem that trips of backup relays by overload. In this paper, a new algorithm of predicting Zone 3 acting time of distance relay is proposed using the real time synchronized data from PMUs on the transmission system when the power system is danger. In the proposed, some part of the power system are outage when some unexpected fault in the power system, the algorithm will monitor the impedance locus of distance relay. At this time, if there is a big change of Impedance locus, the algorithm will calculate the Zone 3 acting time of the distance relay by the over load. In the case studies, the estimation and simulation network have been testified and analysed in Matlab Simulink.

Frequent accidents occur when workers at construction sites leave the safety zone, and particularly in the past 5 years, 9 fatal accidents occurred at the Korea Railroad Corporation due to train accidents on other tracks during track work. With the Severe Accident Punishment Act taking effect in January 2022, it is a priority to secure a safe work environment for workers at industrial (construction) sites. Therefore, there is a need to manage workers' departure from the safety zone (construction zone) and to facilitate communication within the construction zone. In this study, a mobile edge computing CCTV system is proposed that uses geofencing to determine whether workers are working in the danger zone, which can judge and respond in real-time to the ever-changing field environment. The proposed system is mobile and flexible, rather than server-based fixed CCTV. However, since it is designed mainly based on images, it has limitations in recognition rate depending on the environment such as distance, viewing angle, and illumination. As a way to compensate for this, it is required to develop more reliable equipment by combining technologies such as LiDAR and Radar.
This paper is to develop the position error equation of in the free-gyro positioning system by using two free gyros. First, the determination of a position is analyzed on the ellipsoid of the Earth and the type of the errors is defined Finally the position error equation is introduced and developed, based on the definition of the type of errors which may be involved in the FPS.
Earthquakes of 5.8 and 5.4 Richter scale recently occurred one after another in Korea, changing the Korean peninsula from an earthquake safe zone but 'earthquake danger zone'. Therefore, seismic reinforcements must expand to include structures with low seismic resistance in order to prepare for earthquakes on a larger scale in the future. This study investigated the performances of various seismic reinforcement systems such as X-braced steel rod reinforcement, steel shear wall with circular opening reinforcement, and slit damper reinforcement using shaking table test and computational analyses of seismic data in order to establish a proper seismic reinforcement plan. These three seismic reinforcement systems could increase the stiffness and strength of existing structures and reduce maximum drift ratio in the event of an earthquake.
Effective construction safety management systems are desperately required for reducing damage caused by increasing safety accidents in construction sites. Safety accidents in construction sites can effectively protect if proactive measures are taken to prevent unauthorized worker access the expected hazardous area. In this study, we have developed a IoT(Internet of Things)-based dangerous zone alarming system for safety management in construction sites, which can be operated at low cost in large-scale sites as well as small and medium-sized construction sites. The development system utilizes a Zigbee-based beacon technology and cellular mobile communication technology to detect when authorized workers, unauthorized field workers or outsiders approaches hazardous zones. If somebody approaches the dangerous zones the system notifies immediately to the safety manager with a danger warning signal. It is expected that this system can effectively prevent safety accidents when applied to construction sites.

The purpose of this study was an analysis of the elementary school child's attitude and dangerous factors of play apparatuses n elementary schools. The results were summarized as follows; 1. 53.0% of the reply child thought that play apparatuses were dangerous, and 41.0% of the total reply had experienced accidents by apparatuses, the child under 10 had experienced the accidents manytimes. 2. The types of injuries most frequently occurred are falls from play apparatuses, and part of the body most frequently injured parts of the body are arms and legs. 3. The danger of fall in play apparatuses that is over 3M amounted 19.6%, it asked safety of bottom materials. 4. Destructed play apparatuses reached up to 20.0%, and rusted or decomposed apparatuses reached to 28.4%. 5. The distance of each apparatus were very close ; it was within 0.3~1.5M, which was 24.9%, it was very dangerous factor. 6. The most frequent hazards of educational play apparatuses are ; - inappropriate size of apparatuses(height, gap, thick etc.)- inappropriate shape and finished state(bad welding and cutting, projection part etc.)- unsuitable use of bottom material in playground and safety color.- insufficient use zone.-inappropriate maintenance and inspection(endurance passage, erosin of iron-ware and wooden ware, projection of foundation concrete)
