  • 본 연구는 NIST사에서 개발된 FDS를 기반으로한 GUI환경의 전처리 프로그램의 개발에 관한 것이다. 개발된 프로그램은 GUI환경에서 임의의 직육면체를 생성하고 편집할수 있으며 또한 국립지리원에서 보유중인 DXF의 수치지도를 이용하여 지형에 관련된 모델링을 가능 하도록 하였다. 복잡한 지형의 모델링기능과 GUI 환경에서의 편의성은 FDS의 활용도를 높여줄 것이며 이를 이용한 화재 모사는 화재 발생시 진압/대피의 효율을 높여 화재에 대한 피해를 줄일 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • This paper presents a cost-effective 3D foot scanner system that provides the 3-dimensional point cloud foot data to design the custom footwear. To measure the 3-dimensional point cloud data of the foot, a CCD camera, a Non-Gaussian laser line projector and optical triangulation method are employed. Furthermore, the integrated system employs a measurement base, a frame grabber, a CCD moving cart, a stepping motor and a computer. The measurement result is saved as 3D dxf format and it could be converted to 2D essential data fer a shoe design. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed system have the decent resolution of 1mm which is enough for last and shoe design.

  • In this paper, image processing algorithm is studied to enhance the preciseness of the geometry while converting captured images to CAD data. A program is developed as a result. The code, in the image processing, utilizes outline trace, point data smoothing algorithm. It is capable of automatically generating design data by converting input image data to the CAD data. The output can be made in DXF, IGES formats. The current research can be utilized as a base data for the development of factory automation or flexible manufacturing system which adopt image processing based automatic inspection and measuring system.

  • In this paper, we designed and implemented an Internet Geographic Information System, called IGIS, that supports the client/server architecture connected via the Internet. IGIS is consists of the Map Server and the Map Viewer which can be located at a server site and client sites, respectively. In addition, we used the Common Gateway Interface(CGI) to service the geographic information on the Internet and used a DXF(Data eXchange Format) file as a geographic data in IGIS.

  • This paper presents a remote monitoring and simulation system for a building cleaning mobile robot. It provides a tool of convenient 3D graphical map construction including network camera image viewer and status information of the robot. The 3D map is reconstructed from existing 2D building CAD data with DXF format using OpenGL graphic API. Through this system, it is possible to monitor and control the cleaning mobile robot from remote place. A practical experiment is performed to show the reliability and convenience of the monitoring system. The proposed system is expected to give efficient way of control and monitoring to building cleaning mobile robot.

  • GIS systems have gradually been utilized in life information as well as special businesses such as traffic, sight-seeing, tracking, and disaster services. Most GIS services focus on showing stored information on maps, not providing a service to register and modify their preferred information. In this paper, we present a new method which reduces DXF map data into Simple Geographic Information File format using format conversion algorithms. We also present the prototype implementation of a GIS search system based on ontologies to support associated information. Our contribution is to propose a new digital map format to provide a fast map loading service and individual customized information on the map service.

  • We proposes integrated information system, Service Robot Information System(SRIS), for mobile robot. The system has objectives that can heir efficient management and sharing as support information for mobile service robot like recognition, navigation, manipulation and modeling. This paper introduces the concert and architecture of SRIS. An Implementation is done by using ER based database and CAD modeling which is DXF format. The experimental shows the result of object and environment map matching by SLAM. This system is expected that can help reduce the cost and efforts of information management under multiple mobile robot environment.

  • In the recent years the computer-numerical controlled cutting process such as a plasma arc cutting and a laser cutting is widely applied to reduce the time and cost expense for generating NC part program of the parts to be cut. In the present study, a CAD system(C-CAD) was developed to generate automatically the NC part programs with CLDAT(Cutter Location Data)for the CNC plasma arc cutting system. The NC part programs are composed of the 2-dimensional drawing of the parts to be cut and the technological data. The shape data of the parts drawn in the Auto-CAD can be also used in the C-CAD, since the data file generated by the C-CAD is compatible with that by the Auto-CAD. In order to check its applicability, the C-CAD and CAM system were applied to cut the parts, and which showed the satisfactory results.

  • To design a drawing at construction sites or ship yards, generally, they exploit CAD program, such as AutoCAD. They also carry the printed drawings in the fields in order to refer the designs. However, the printed designs are easy to be damaged. In this paper, we propose the design of a management system for the CAD drawings on top of the smart operating systems of a smart device. The proposed system exploits the index file based on the Fixed GRID file in order to improve the display speed of the drawings.
