Manufacturing is characterized by increasing product variety and technical complexity, decreasing levels of demand, expanding global competition and declining profitability of organizations. To survive in such a complex environment, development of the automatic design system into design and manufacturing can be introduced to increase the flexibility and adaptability to markets. This paper presents the development of an automatic water-gate design system that composed of a main program and three modules, and was programmed by AutoLISP language under AutoCAD system. The devel-oped system is capable of generating water-gate design automatically according to input data as customer requirement.

Proposed are model and its solution algorithm for determining the minimum number of high speed exits and their locations. While the previous researches on exit location aimed to minimize the average runway occuancy time (ROT) of an aircraft mix, the proposed approach is to find the minimum number of exits required to meet maximum allowable ROT. The rationale behind the approach is that the capacity of a runway increases as the ROT decreases down to some value, but not any more even though the ROT keep decreasing below the value. Hence, a maximum allowable ROT might be set up without declining the capacity. The problem is transformed into a shortest path problem on a specially constructed network and Dijkstra's labeling algorithms is employed to solve the problem A hypothetical example is provided to illustrate how the algorithms solves the problem.

This paper is to show the history and the brief present situation, the further vision and the considerations of Vojta physical therapy. Since Vojta therapy has been introduced into Korea in 1980, the workshop had the total 7 times and has produced 76 Vojta physical therapist during the past 15 year. But Vojta thrapist members have a gradually declining tendency in the present state. The counterplans for the considerations as follows; 1) Physician and Vojta therapist must be concerned about the growth of Vojta diagnosis and therapy. 2) As the medical examination and treatment system's establishment, an early infant's tretment will be performed. 3) The course of workshop in Korea must be admitted to be a regular qualification by the Vojta center of Germany. 4) Cerebral palsy treatment need home care system by Vojta therapist. 5) Vojta therapist has to reside in a public health center.

This study Investigates the short and long-run dynamic relationships between the domestic and U.S. stock markets for the period of declining stock prices. It Is well known that the domestic stock market variations are largely caused by the U.S. stock market movements. Multivariate causal tty test Is utilized to examine the lead-lag relationships among four stock prices of KOSPI and KOSDAQ In the domestic part and DOWJONES and NASDAQ In the U.S. part. When the stock prices tend to decrease In the long run, It Is found that both KOSPI and KOSDAQ have closer relations with NASDAQ than DOWJONES. When both of domestic stock markets are severely fluctuate, bidirectional causal relationships appear to exist between NASDAQ and each of KOSPI and KOSDAQ. On the other hand. when the domestic stock markets are relatively stable, unidirectional causality Is found to exist between NASDAQ and each of KOSPI and KOSDAQ. which is explicitly validated by the analysis of variance decomposition.

The purpose of this study is to form a different evaluation method of academic libraries in Korea. In order to this product life cycle and product portfolio matrix have been used. While they are based upon products and services, their general concept is useful for library managers as they help to distinguish which books have potential for growth. Writer tried to transform them into book life cycle and book portfolio matrix as a tool for assessing the quality of stock on the library shelves. With this method, writer a n.0, ppraised practically the Sociology Collection of Pusan National University Library by the state of usage and classified them into four groups that were development books, growth books, maturity books, and declining books.

Natto, one of Japanese traditional food is made from steamed whole soybeans fermented with Bacillus natto. In this study, the effects of Natto mucilage- feeding on griwth, organ weight and serum nitrogen compounds of rats were investigated. Male rats in Sprague-Dawley strain were fed on basal diets supplemented with aqueous Natto mucilage of several percentages for 10 weeks. Natto mucilage had no significant effects on the body and organ weights. The levels of GOT, GPT, LDH. and total bilirubin in serum of rats fed Natto mucilage diets were significantly lower than those in the control group ' The levels of total protein and albumin were higher than those in the control group. The level of calcium in serum indicates a growing tendency. but creatinine, uric acid, and BUN had declining. And the most component of free am1no acids in Natto mucilage were glutamin acid.

In this sampling obtained 7,108 measurements for all trees larger than 2.5cm (1.0 inch) dbh from seven stands in Kwhangnung. In terms of similarity indices seven stands are classified into three kind of forest coniferous, mixed, and broadleaved froest communiteis. For ten major tree species in a three forest communities the size distributions are studied. Two forms of size distributions were observed: (1) linear relationships of log numbers of stem vs. size indicating stablesize distributions; (2) convex to bell shaped size distributions reflecting declining populaitons with a low natality rate. Survivorship analyses showed that successional trends seem to be: Pinus densilfloralongrightarrowQuercus aliena and Q. serratalongrightarrowCarpinus laxifloralongrightarrowC. erosalongrightarrowAcer pseudo-sieboldianum var. Koreanum. These results agree with the results from ordination method. An alternate pathways that Pinus koraiensis seems to be replaced by C. laxiflora were observed. It seems that successional trend is not unidireciton, but rather multi-directional.

There is a case to use dredged-sea sand as a filling material because of difficulty of obtaining required filling material for tideland reclamation project from the land. At this time, side slope erosion is occurred because the precipitation falling to the top of bank acts as infiltration water when it pass through inside of the semi-permeable filling section. This study has confirmed the declining effect of permeability by conducting permeability test to the condition of mixing of bentonite to the dredged sea-sand. And also this study has confirmed that the above processed-soil could be used as a water-proof layer to protect infiltration of water through the infiltration flow analysis.
