This paper describes the vibration control using a tuned mass damper(TMD) for the existing footbridge. The footbridge connecting driveway to the Stadium is the simple steel box-girder bridge with the main span length of 44.6m. This footbridge has light weight(=25.3kN/m) and pedestrians walking on the footbridge were found to induce resonance at the fundamental mode of the structure, resulting in unacceptable accelerations in it. Taking into account economical and constructional benefits, TMD was designed to damp the vibrations of the modes next to the natural frequency caused by a pedestrian, with a limitation criteria of vertical amplitude. A set of two 500kgf vertical TMDs was manufactured by KR and installed into the railings next to the central section of this footbridge. The installation of TMDs reduced the peak acceleration in the meeting box to less than 90%. It is hoped that the study will present bridge engineers with a measure of retrofitting footbridges to make them more friendly to users.

About the case of the cerebral infarction patient who has diagnosed Mitral Regurgitation in valvular heart disease and admissed to our hospital from 26. April. 2004 to 14. May. 2004, we diagnosed and treated him as heart disease due to wind, damp-heat at the point of Oriental Medicine and got the improvement in the chest pain, dyspnea and etc. so we report. We think that the patient must get the screen test exactly and treat the disease properly. and if we apply this result to clinical cases at the point of Oriental Medical base from gathering and researching more cases, it will arouse sympathy-the excellence of Oriental Medicine and make the necessity of the further research and report from now on.

A 72 year-old male patient with Pneumonia and Cerebral infarction was treated. He was suffering from cough, sputum, fever, decreased mentality and dyspepsia. His symtoms were diagnosed as damp and phlegm of the Spleen and the Stomach, and he administered Hwajung-Tang(和中湯). After 23 days, clinical symptoms of Pneumonia had improved. Results of Chest PA and CBC profile also showed improvement. These results support a role for oriental medicine treatment in the treatment of elderly patients with Pneumonia.

본 논문은 고압 방전램프를 점등시켜 주는 전자식 안정기에 관한 것으로서, Class D LCC 공진 인버터 방식을 이용하여, 램프의 초기 점등, 정상상태를 구동하게 하고, 준구형파로 ZC-ZVS Soft Switching을 구현하여 풀-브리지 스위치의 발열을 최소화할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한, RCD 스너버 회로를 적용하여 스위치 발열 감소뿐만 아니라, 고주파 스위칭으로 인한 서지 전압의 감소를 통한 노이즈를 최소화시켜 제어부의 안정되고, 신뢰성 있는 동작을 가능하게 할 수 있도록 하고, 안정기의 전체적인 스위칭 노이즈 발생을 최소화하였다.

This paper describes the application of Fuzzy Power System Stabilizer(FPSS) for improving dynamic stability of power system. The Real-coding Genetic Algorithm(RGA) was applied to optimize gains of the inputs and outputs of the FPSS. The effectiveness of the proposed FPSS was demonstrated by simulation studies for single-machine infinite system. To show the superiority of the proposed FPSS, its performances were compared with those of Conventional Power System Stabilizer(CPSS) The proposed FPSS showed better control performances than the CPSS in three-phase ground fault under a normal load which was system condition in tuning FPSS. To show the robustness of the proposed FPSS, it was applied to damp the low frequency oscillations caused by disturbances such as three-phase ground fault under heavy and light load conditions. The proposed FPSS showed better performance than CPSS in terms of the settling time and damping effect for power system operation condition.

According to the literatural study on the Acupuncture & Moxibustion and Traumatherapyof hysterorrhea, the results were as follows. 1. The acupuncture & moxibustion of hysterorrhea is focussed on bloody uterine discharge, leukorrhea and we must carefully diagnose the etiology & the machanism of disease. 2. The causes of hysterorrhea are dampness, impairment of seven emotion, irregular food intake, excessive intercourse and they are impotantly related to liver, spleen, kidney, the ren channel, the chong channel. 3. The diagnosis is grossly divided into the flowing downward of damp-heat, the weaknessof the qi of the spleen, dificiency of yuan of the kidney and according to the each diagnosis, we should select adquate points representing the treatment of cooling(zhongji, yinlingquan, xingjian, etc), desiccation, heiping qi(qihai, zusanli, sanyinjiao, etc), tonificating yang (guanyuan, mingmen, shinshu, etc). 4. The moxibustion is the warming the lower jiao and eliminating the cold, the points are the mingmen point, the zhongji point, the guanyuan point, etc. 5. Besides the acupuncture & moxibustion of hysterorrhea, we can make use of acusetor, ear acupuncture, endermosis, dong shi shen fa. 6. As of traumatherapy of hysterorrhea, fumigation,abluent and soppository are generally used. and the prescriptions as GAMISASANGSAN, BANSUKSAN are used. 7. The medical herbs used on the treatment of hysterorrhea are the tonificating yang, dissipeting, desiccating medicines generally composed of CNIDII FRUCTUS, ALUMEN, ZANTHOXYLI FRUCTUS.

The purpose of this study is to introduce the music therapy as one of the 17 kinds of oriental medicine music therapy and investigate the record in the literature. The spleen is an organ that has the function of digestion, absorption, and supply of nutrition. Damp, anxiety, and improper diet can cause deficiency syndrome of the spleen. The symptoms of deficiency of the spleen are poor appetite, abdominal distension, borborygmus, water-grain dysentery, dyspepsia, and lack of strength in limbs. CV12, CV6, S36, B20, B21, and Sp4 are can be used as acupuncture points that are a great help to the patients who suffer from deficiency of the spleen. This study describes the theory of invigorating the spleen music therapy that has a good possibility as a new method of oriental medical treatment and present the acupuncture points that can be used with invigorating the spleen music therapy. The tone of the spleen is Gung(宮) and the sound of the spleen is related to a song. The music therapy of invigorating the spleen includes beating Earth-Gi(地氣) rhythm with Cheonnyeonmanse, stimulating Spleen Meridian and Stomach Meridian with Gayaguem sanjo jungjungmori, and acupuncture with "Le Cygne" of Camille Saint-Saens.

Objective : The purpose of this study is to review the acupuncture therapy and moxibustion on itching Method : We searched and reviewed chinese journals of and books of the acupuncture therapy and moxibustion on itching. Results & Conclusions : 1. Dermatopathy of itching is described as eczema, neurotic-dermititis, itching in orient medical text. 2. According to text, itching causes were wind symptom produced by deficiency of blood, deficiency syndrom of the spleen, and damp-heat. 3. Frequently used acupoints were LI10(41 frequency), SP10(29), ST36(27), SP6(22), GB20(19), Asi point(18), BL(17), back Su acupoints(13), LI4(13), SP9(10), PC6(7), HT7(7). etc 4. The practice of acupuncture was used by body acupuncture, auriculo-theraphy, loss of bleeding with needle, blum-blosson needle, dermal needle, fire needle. etc. 5. Moxibustions are mild moxibustion, non-scar producing moxibustion, herb- moxibustion. etc.

Objectives : This report describes 142 prescriptions related to the use of Astragalus mainly blended from Dongeuibogam. Methods : The following conclusions were drawn through investigations on the pre-scriptions that use Astragalus as a key component. Results : Prescriptions that Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata was taken as a monarch drug are utilized for 31 therapeutic purposes, for example, cold disease, stool disease, child disease. In particular, 17.3% of prescriptions appear in the chapter of cold. Prescriptions that utilize Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata as the main component are used in the treatment of cold, diarrhea and child disease, Bi syndrome due to pathogenic wind, cold and damp and they are also used for treating 55 different types of disease. Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata is used in pathogenic factors such as wind, cold and dampness and used in pathology related to the kidney and spleen and stomach system. The dosage of Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata is 2pun(about 0.75g) to 5don(about 18.8g), however 1don(about 3.75g)~1don 5pun(about 5.63g) has been taken the most for clinical application. Conclusions : Gangbutang and Ijungtang are the most useful base prescriptions which use the Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata as the main ingredient.

An ACR/HMMM film was prepared by blending high-solid ACR with curing agent, hexamethoxymethyl melamine (HMMM). An active curing reaction was observed at $170^{\circ}C$. The dynamic viscoelastic $T_{g}$ of the final film increased with the static viscoelastic $T_{g}$ of the film. The log damp value, which means a viscoelastic ratio, decreased with the increase in the curing temperature of the film. Physical properties of the films were within a suitable range for films, and by an accelerated weathering resistance test the films were proved weather resistible ones.
