Comparisons of Self-esteem, Interpersonal Relationship, Happiness, and College Adjustment in Nursing Students by Type D Personality (D유형 성격에 따른 간호대학생의 자아존중감, 대인관계, 행복 및 대학생활적응 비교)

  • The purpose of study was to examine and compare the self-esteem, interpersonal relationship, happiness, and college adjustment between Type D and non-Type D personality among nursing students. Subjects included a total 181 nursing students (Type D personality: n=53, non-Type D personality: n=128). Data were collected through personal interviews using a questionnaire. The collected date were analyzed using a ${\chi}^2$-test, Fisher's exact test, and independent t-test. There were significant differences on self-esteem, interpersonal relationship, happiness, and college adjustment between Type D and non-Type D personality among nursing students. Self-esteem showed significant differences in degree of adaption, interpersonal relationship in religion, happiness in economic status, college adjustment in religion and degree of adaption (Type D personality subjects). Type D personality lowered self-esteem, interpersonal relationship, happiness, and college adjustment in nursing students. Strategies for Type D personality in nursing students are needed to increase self-esteem, interpersonal relationship, happiness, and college adjustment.

Personality Types of Nurses and the Relation between Self-Efficacy and Clinical Performance Ability (간호사의 성격유형, 자기효능감과 임상수행능력 간의 관계)

  • This study was to determine the relationship between nurse DISC personality types, self-efficacy, clinical performance. Data were collected from 302 nurses in 5 hospitals in K city. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient. With regard to self-efficacy and clinical performance, D type showed a higher score than type I type and S type. The lower region of the clinical performance showed the nursing process, nursing skills, higher score than the D Type S Type in professional development. With regard to personality and self-efficacy, and clinical performance, the type D (r=.56, p<.01), I type (r=.66, p<.01), S type (r=.6, p<.01) showed a positive correlation with type C (r=.52, p<.01). As shown by these results, each personality type has a different correlation with self-efficacy and clinical performance ability. This factor should be considered in the assignment of nurses to departments or individual training programs so that they can deliver the most effective job performance.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 정부의 R&D 지원사업에 참여하는 유형별 중소기업들의 R&D참여 요인에 관한 연구이다. 각 정부부처별 R&D 지원사업이 지역전략산업별, 뿌리기술전문기업, 부품소재기업등 특수 산업분야별, 다양한 형태로 운영되고 있으며, 각 기업에 보조금, 지원금 및 마케팅, 기획, 교육등의 다양한 지원이 이루어지고 있고 각 기업들 또한 이에 참여하게 된다. 따라서 본 연구는 이와 같은 정부 R&D지원사업의 참여요인 즉, 다양한 유형의 중소기업이 정부 R&D과제 참여에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 지에 대한 가설을 검증한다. 또한 기술적 성과인 R&D 참여강화와 기술역량 강화에 영향을 미치는지에 대한 가설을 검증한다. 이 분석결과를 통한 연구결과, 중소기업의 연구개발투자에 영향을 미치는 요인중 지역전략산업별, 뿌리기술전문기업, 부품소재기업등 특수 산업분야별등 기업유형에 따라 정(+)의 영향을 미치고 있다는 결과를 바탕으로 정부지원사업에 참여하는 유형별 중소기업들의 전략적 R&D참여를 위한 방향설정에 도움이 될 것이다.

Mental Health and Quality of Life by Type-D Personality of the Patients with Coronary Artery Disease (D 유형 성격에 따른 관상동맥질환자의 정신건강과 삶의 질)

  • The purpose of this study was to confirm the mental health and quality of life by type-D personality of the patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). The participants in the study were 111 hospitalized patients with CAD at a hospital in Gyeonggi-do. The type-D personality was assessed by the Type-D Personality Scale (DS14). The mental health was measured with Symptom Checklist-90-Revision (SCL-90R) while quality of life was assessed with World Health Quality of Life Assessment Instrument (WHOQOL-BREF). The data analysis revealed that 36.1% of CAD patients were identified as having type-D personality traits. Non type-D personality patients have shown better mental health state than type-D personality patients (p<.001) have. The level of quality of life in the type D personality patients were significantly lower than that of non type-D counterparts (p<.001). It is necessary for type-D personality to be considered, when the nursing intervention programs for improving the mental health and quality of life of the patients with CAD are developed.

Factors Influencing Type D Personality of Female Undergraduate Students Majoring in Nursing (간호학전공 여대생의 D유형 성격에 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The aim of this study was to clarify the variables influencing the Type D personality of female university students majoring in nursing. The subjects were 353 female students attending a nursing college, and multiple regression analysis was performed using the PASW 18.0 program. The distribution of Type D personality in the subjects was 34.8%. The factors influencing the Type D personality included the support of family and friends, satisfaction with their major, self-esteem, life stress, and resilience. The factor with the greatest influence among the variables was life stress, and the explanatory power of this model was 36.3%. Intervention programs should be developed to reduce the level of Type D personality among nursing college students to provide them with the appropriate expertise as prospective nurses.

Characteristics of 2nd to 4th Digit Ratio according to Type of Handedness in University Students (대학생의 손잡이 유형에 따른 손가락 길이비(2D:4D)의 특성)

  • The aim of this study is to identify characteristics of 2D:4D according to type of handedness. Data was collected from October, 4th, 2010 to April, 30th, 2012. After handedness assessment, 2nd and 4th finger length were measured by vernier calipers. This study showed remarkable gender difference of 2D:4D in left hand for left handers and right hand for right handers, However, there was no significant difference according to type of handedness in each gender. The correlation between left and right 2D:4D in males right handedness was higher than that of male left handedness, otherwise, in case of female, that of left handedness was higher than that of right handedness. The results of this study suggest that the 2D:4D of left handedness does not differ from that of right handedness, however, gender difference and correlation between left and right 2D:4D show different characteristics according to handedness.

  • 저성장, 실업률이 심화됨에 따라 일자리 중심 정책은 현 정부의 최우선 정책과제로 급부상하였다. 이러한 정책기조로부터 정부는 R&D분야에서도 고용영향평가 제도를 통해 도출된 성과를 R&D 사업의 예산배분 보조지표로 활용하는 방안을 검토하고 있다. 허나, R&D분야는 기술개발에 따른 고용창출효과의 발생 시점을 추적하기 힘들며, 기술개발로 인한 일자리에 대한 부(-)의 영향도 존재하기에 기존의 고용영향평가 방법만으로 R&D분야의 고용창출효과를 산출하는 것은 한계점이 존재한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 R&D분야에서 고용영향평가에 적용될 수 있는 일자리 유형들을 분류하고, 일자리 유형별 정의 및 R&D 사업의 일자리 유형별 사례를 분석한다. 분석결과는 정부 R&D 사업들의 고용창출효과 산출과정에 활용 시 도움이 될 가능성이 있으며, 현 R&D분야의 고용영향평가 제도에 대한 절차 및 문제점을 분석하는 차원에서 큰 의의가 있다.

컴퓨터 게임의 트랩 유형 분석

  • 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 게임공간의 레벨디자인을 기반으로 3D 공간에서 설계될 수 있는 트랩 유형을 제시하였다. 트랩은 게임 내의 장애물로서 3D 공간에서의 X, Y, Z 축으로의 이동방향, 고정, 운동, 회전, 스케일의 트랩 자체의 상태, 일회성, 반복, 순환의 작동타입 등의 요소를 바탕으로 표현된다. 트랩의 상태를 기준으로 작동 타입과 이동방향의 경우의 수를 조합한 결과 28가지의 트랩 유형이 도출되었다. 그리고 도출해낸 28가지의 트랩 유형이 실질적으로 게임공간에 적용되어 쓰이고 있는지 알아보기 위해 발리언트와 트라인 게임을 대상으로 트랩 유형을 살펴보았다.

Diagnosis and Evaluation of Humanities Therapy: The Phonetic Analysis of Speech Rates and Fundamental Frequency According to Preferred Sensation Type (인문치료의 진단 및 평가: 감각유형에 따른 말속도와 기본주파수의 실험음성학적 분석)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the correlation between the preferred sensation type and speech sounds, especially on $F_0$ and the speech rates. Data for the sensation types and speech sounds were collected from 36 undergraduate and graduate students (17 male, 19 female). Subjects were asked to read a given text (400 syllables), describe a drawing, and give answers to some questions. We measured speakers' $F_0$ and speech rates. The results show that type V (Visual) has the correlation with the speech rates when type D (Digital) was ruled out, and type A (Auditory) has the correlation with the speech rates when type D was included. Furthermore, the analysis of the mean values of V, A, K (Visual, Auditory, Kinethetic) indicates that type V is characterized with faster speech rates and higher $F_0$ in all parts except for interview and the same is true for that of V, A, K, D (Visual, Auditory, Kinethetic, Digital) in all parts. In conclusion, this study proved that the preferred sensation type has the correlation with $F_0$ and speech rates. Based on the results of this study, $F_0$ and speech rates can be used to analyze the sensation types for individualized education as well as consultation. In addition, this study has great significance in that it lays a foundation for the study on the correlation between a preferred sensation type and speech sounds.

An Empirical Study on the Entry Mode Selection Originated from the Entry Motivation of MNCs' R&D Labs in China (중국내 다국적기업 R&D랩의 진출동기에 따른 유형선택에 관한 연구)

  • This study aimed at exploring the primary motivations in the behavior of MNCs' setting up R&D Labs in China, four main subjective motivations were founded. R&D Labs consisted of the following four types: local market support Labs, local technology support Labs, global technology center, and internationally interdependent Labs.he choices of the R&D Lab type features are different because of the various R&D investment motivations. Provided that MNCs' investment motivations in China are in order to obtain Chinese markets and customers, local market support Labs are supposed to be chosen so as to support Chinese markets; provided that investment motivations are in order to gain talents and science and technology resources, global technology centers are supposed to be used to achieve the highest synergy result; provided that investment motivations win an absolute competitive advantage in China, local market support Labs are extremely necessary in preoccupying markets; last but not the least, provided that investment motivations are environmental owing to their instability, local technology support Labs are a good choice for their relatively low R&D expenses.
