Purpose It is a major goal to improve the product yields during production operations in the manufacturing industry. Therefore, factory is trying to keep the good quality materials and proper production resources, also find the proper condition of facilities and manufacturing environment for yields improvement. Design/methodology/approach We propose the hybrid framework to analyze to dataset extracted from MES. Those data is about the alarm information generated from equipment, both measurement and equipment process value from production and cycle/pitch time measured from production data these covered products during production. We adapt a data warehousing techniques for organizing dataset, a logistic regression for finding out the significant factors, and a association analysis for drawing the rules which affect the product yields. And then we validate the framework by applying the real data generated from the discrete process in secondary cell battery manufacturing. Findings This paper deals with challenges to apply the full potential of modeling and simulation within CPPS(Cyber-Physical Production System) and Smart Factory implementation. The framework is being applied in one of the most advanced and complex industrial sectors like semiconductor, display, and automotive industry.

Trust is formed from the day-to-day and persistent interaction relationship. The trust demands more and more at the age of uncertainty. Human beings are using media interaction. The area of communication with media is extended to virtual space. The purpose of this study is to qualitatively explain trust building process in virtual team by media using. In the pursuit of this purpose, we executed in-depth interview with the person who have experience communicating by media with a man of a complete stranger. They experienced the trust building process. Interview data were analyzed by a Structured Coding Techniques. The derived seven categories were reconstructed in consideration of the cause-and-effect relationship and the flow of events. We have discovered a new trust model that was the result from communication by a media using. The model presented is very useful to Individuals who need a new trust building relationship with stranger or virtual team member.

Traditional face-to-face university education has shifted its course to combine the advantages of both online and offline education in a blended-learning approach. However, there is still much that is unknown about the actual effect of blended learning, particularly it's learning outcomes in terms of cost effectiveness. This study qualitatively examines the costs and the learning outcomes of blended learning at an on-line college and off-line university. Online college level English pedagogy courses and blended with offline operations at an online university were studied across two semesters in terms of the quality of education, and both direct and indirect cost savings. Other causes for various learning outcomes and cost implications are proposed and validated.

As the number of online systems based on the internet gradually increases, cyber-scale attacks that interfere with the normal operation of web services are also on the rise. In particular, distributed denial-of-service attacks (DDoS) that interfere with normal web service operations are also increasing. Therefore, this paper presents an efficient DDoS attack defense technique utilizing Equal Cost Multi-Path (BGP ECMP) routing techniques in networks of Anycast type by operating PoP basis of major attack sources and describes how high-availability web services can be operated.

Though the number of food franchises has been increased these days, there has not been less success for food franchise than failure. One of the several failures is the distrust between franchisor and franchisee factors because the franchisee thought its franchisor does not make its accounts and operations transparent. In order to resolve it, the large business food franchise has used the ERP system, however, small business franchise has run a very simple information system, which is linked to POS system and consists of simple functions to insert or inquire the result of data on sales and order etc to identify the status of both franchisor and franchisee because of financial difficulties and manpower shortage. Thus, small business franchise needs the cost management between them with low cost for efficient business administration. In this study, we suggest the data reference model (DRM) which covers the cost management system and is able to be linked to any POS system. The DRM is a framework whose primary purpose is to enable information linking and reuse across the any POS-based information systems via the classification, structure, model, exchange and management of data.

In this study, the degree of motion sickness displayed according to actions in virtual reality is measured based on the SSQ tool, a measuring tool, and factors and symptoms affecting cyber motion sickness are investigated through comparative analysis. In the first experiment, the operation method experiment, the simple operation method is measured to be highly affected by the Nausea factor. As symptoms of this, nausea, burp and headache symptoms were developed. In the second experiment, the larger the body rotation radius, the higher the motion sickness was measured, and the greater the influence of Nausea factors. Symptoms of this were the symptoms of burping, headaches, and a full head. In the third experiment, the physical mobility experiment, motion sickness was measured highly in the non-action controller. It was measured to be greatly affected by the Nausea factor. Symptoms of this include fever, headache, and a full head. Through this study, we found that the more fixed and simple the body is operated in virtual reality, the more sensitive the user is to motion sickness, and the larger the radius of rotation, the more sensitive it is to motion sickness. This study is meaningful in identifying factors and symptoms that affect motion sickness and VR manipulation, and is expected to be used by developers in the future to recognize the degree and symptoms of motion sickness of users and to develop content.

The numbers of SNS (Social Network Service) users and usage amounts are increasing every year. The influence of SNS is increasing also. SNS has a wide range of influences from daily decision-making to corporate management activities. Therefore, proper analysis of SNS can be a very meaningful work, and many studies are making a lot of effort to look into various activities and relationships in SNS. In this study, we analyze the SNS following relationships using Twitter, one of the representative SNS services. In other words, unlike the existing SNS analysis, our intention is to analyze the interests of the accounts by extracting and visualizing the accounts that two accounts follow in common. For this, a common following account was extracted using Microsoft Excel macros, and the relationship between the extracted accounts was defined using an adjacency matrix. In addition, to facilitate the analysis of the following relationships, a direction graph was used for visualization, and R programming was used for such visualization.

Recently, the RFID technology is combined with a u-healthcare services is an emerging trend in the field of medical services. u-healthcare service, as covering the field of personal health information beyond the level of simple health screening and treatment of life are closely related. Considering security, invasion of privacy, as well as life may be threatened even if your personal health information to be exposed or exploited illegally u-Healthcare services certification is essential. In 2012, Jeong proposed J-L patient authentication protocol that Initialization process, and patients using RFID technology separates the certification process. Jeong, such as the claim that the proposed protocol for reuse attacks, spoofing attacks, prevent information disclosure and traceability fire safety, but raises issues of security and operations efficiency. Therefore, in this paper, Jeong, such as the security of the proposed protocol and to prove the computational efficiency issues, and to enhance the safety and efficiency of RFID technology based on practical u-Healthcare services authentication protocol is proposed.

In recent years, the number of users who are actively express their opinions about Internet articles is more and more growing up, as the use of cyber community such as weblog or Internet discussion board increases. In fact, it is not difficult to find an article with hundreds of comments in famous Internet discussion boards. Most of the weblogs or Internet discussion boards present comments in the form of list and do not yet support even the basic operation such as searching comments. In this paper, we analysed large sets of comments in Internet discussion board named AGORA. It was found that from the result that the distribution of comment writers follows power-law. So we suppose a new search structure of comments using skip lists. The main idea of our approach is to reflect the probabilistic distribution properties of the commenters following the power-law to the data structure. Our empirical results show that the proposed method performs more efficient in searching the nodes with fewer number of comparison operations than logN, which is the theoretical time complexity of general indexed structure such as B-trees or typical skip lists.
