상토 및 생장조절제 처리가 꾸지뽕나무의 삽목번식에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Bedsoil and Growth Regulator on Cutting Propagation of Cudrania tricuspidata Bureau)

  • 꾸지뽕나무의 대량번식을 위한 상토와 생장조절제 처리에 따른 삽목 번식에 관한 시험을 수행한 바, 삽목상토는 미풍화토에서 양호하여 숙지삽과 녹지삽에서 각각 56.9%, 62.3%의 발근율을 보였고, 생장조절제는 IBA 100 ppm처리에서 발근이 양호하여 숙지삽에서 57.9%, 녹지삽에서는 89.2%의 발근율을 보였다.

  • The stencil is a thin stainless sheet in which a pattern is formed, which is placed on a surface of plate to reproduce the pattern of electric circuit. Conventionally the stencil has been produced by etching process. This process has many anti-environmental factors. In this study, Nd : YAG laser cutting process has been applied for stencil manufacturing. The study is focused on estimating kerf width of laser cut stencil by E.B.P.(Error Back-Propagation). This algorithm is good for estimating target value from input value. In this paper, target value was kerf width, and input values were frequency, pulse width, cutting speed and laser power. E.B.P. after teaming input and target could estimate kerf width from some variables precisely.

생열귀나무 삽목시 발근과 뿌리생장에 미치는 삽수종류, 생장조절물질 및 상토의 효과 (Effect of cutting type, growth regulators and propagation media on rooting and root growth of on Rosa davurica $P_{ALL}$)

  • 생열귀나무의 번식에 관한 연구로 숙지, 녹지, 반녹지삽 및 근삽등의 삽목번식체계를 확립하기 위하여 실시된 실험 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 생열귀나무의 숙지, 녹지, 반녹지삽으로 삽목실험을 한 결과 숙지삽에 대한 결과는 각각의 생장 조절물질 및 상토조건에서 발근이 전혀되지 않았으며 반녹지삽, 녹지삽, 근삽의 순으로 양호한 발근율을 나타내어 생열귀 삽목시 숙지삽이나 반녹지삽을 이용하는 것보다 녹지삽을 채취하거나 근삽을 이용하여 삽목하는 것이 양호하였다. 2.녹지삽의 경우 무처리 식물체가 전혀 발근이 되지 않은 반면 rooton-F를 처리하는 것이 가장 양호한 발근율을 나타내었으며 NAA 처리시는 저농도에서 발근율 및 캘러스형성율이 증가하였고 IAA를 처리한 경우는 고농도일수록 발근율 및 캘러스형성율이 양호하였다. IBA는 IAA, NAA보다는 저조한 결과를 나타냈었다. 3. 녹지삽에서는 vermiculite와 perlite의 혼합토양에 삽목하는 것이 가장 양호한 발근율을 나타내었으며 그 다음으로 점토, 사토 순으로 나타났다. 녹지삽에 rooton-F를 처리하였을 때 근장에 있어서는 사토가 더 우수한 반면 근수는 점토에서 더 우수하여 점토와 사토에서 근수와 근장이 서로 상반된 차이를 보였다. 4. 반녹지삽에 rooton-F를 분의처리한 경우 녹지삽에서 결과가 좋았던 vermiculite+perlite에서는 10%정도만 유기되고 점토에서 양호한 발근효과를 나타내었다.

신경회로망과 실험계획법을 이용한 칩형상 예측 (Prediction of Chip Forms using Neural Network and Experimental Design Method)

  • This paper suggests a systematic methodology to predict chip forms using the experimental design technique and the neural network. Significant factors determined with ANOVA analysis are used as input variables of the neural network back-propagation algorithm. It has been shown that cutting conditions and cutting tool shapes have distinct effects on the chip forms, so chip breaking. Cutting tools are represented using the Z-map method, which differs from existing methods using some chip breaker parameters. After training the neural network with selected input variables, chip forms are predicted and compared with original chip forms obtained from experiments under same input conditions, showing that chip forms are same at all conditions. To verify the suggested model, one tool not used in training the model is chosen and input to the model. Under various cutting conditions, predicted chip forms agree well with those obtained from cutting experiments. The suggested method could reduce the cost and time significantly in designing cutting tools as well as replacing the“trial-and-error”design method.

Propagation by Leafy Stem Cuttings Containing Xylem of Populus alba × P. glandulosa Clone Bongwha1

  • The study was conducted to establish a method for the proliferation of hybrid poplar (P. alba × P. glandulosa) clone Bongwha1, an excellent biomass species. It was found that to collect the cuttings of Bonghwa1, it was necessary to use the main stem rather than the axillary branch. Stem growth by green-wood cuttings showed a tendency to decrease as the length of the collected cuttings increased, but the survival rate was low. Therefore, modified leafy stem cutting was attempted to increase the survival rate of the cuttings. In the modified leafy stem cutting method, 4 leaves were included in the cuttings, and especially, cuttings were performed using cuttings containing 2-4 cm xylem parts. Leafy stem cutting increased root growth and the number of stems, as well as the survival rate of hybrid poplar clone Bongwha1 compared to green-wood cuttings. The root growth of the leafy stem cutting poplar was better as there was more xylem part. Using two-year-old nursery stocks, the leafy stem cutting was used to produce about 66 cuttings. This study is expected to contribute to the mass propagation of high-quality nursery stocks.

희귀수종 거문도닥나무(Wikstroemia ganpi (Sieb. et Zucc.) Maxim.)의 번식에 관한 연구 (Propagation of Cutting Method of a Rare Endemic Wikstroemia ganpi (Sieb. et Zucc.) Maxim. in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 희귀 식물인 거문도닥나무를 대상으로 종자 및 삽목번식을 통하여 효율적인 번식방법을 규명하고자 하였다. 실험 결과 종자번식은 실내, 실생 번식 모두 발아율에서 유의성이 나타났다. 저장 종자는 저온 습윤의 경우 항온 20℃ 효과를 보였으며, 변온 처리에서는 발아율이 대체적으로 낮게 나타나 종자 번식에서 거문도닥나무는 습윤 저장 후 항온 20℃에서 발아율이 높았으며, 실생 번식은 노천매장에서 종자를 번식하는 것이 가장 효과적인 것으로 실험에서 확인되었다. 삽목번식의 관수 시설에 따라 캘러스 형성, 뿌리 수 등 발근율을 확인한 결과 미스트 관수 비닐하우스에서 녹지의 중간, 아랫부분에서 10.0%가 발근 하였고, 숙지 삽목은 모두 발근 하지 않았다. 특히, 뿌리수와 뿌리 길이가 각각5개, 112.6 mm로 미스트 관수 비닐하우스에서 월등히 높은 결과를 보여 거문도닥나무 삽목은 습도에 영향을 미치는 것을 알 수 있었다. 전처리에 따른녹지 삽목은 미스트 관수 비닐하우스에서 거문도닥나무의 중간 부분, 아랫부분을 대상으로 삽목을 실험한 결과 캘러스 형성률, 발근율, 뿌리 수, 뿌리 길이 모두 유의성이 있었다. 녹지 삽목은 평균 발근율이 23.7%로 저조하였으며, IBA 500 ppm, IBA 1000 ppm, NAA 2000 ppm에서 발근좋은 것으로 나타났다. 이에, 녹지 삽목의 아랫부분보다 중간 부분이 삽목번식에 효과가 있는 것으로 실험에서 확인되었다. 특히, 숙지 삽목은 평균 발근율이 11.9%로 녹지 삽목에 비해 저조하였는데 이는 숙지 부분의 잎이 거의 없으며, 잎이 있는 때는 조기에 떨어져 삽목에 영향을 준것으로 판단된다.

  • Amaryllis ($Hippeastrum{\times}johnsonii$) is commonly propagated by three methods: seeds, offset bulblets, and twin scaling. Since the number and size of bulblets produced by these methods are low, we conducted an experiment to evaluate different bulb cutting methods for propagation. For this purpose, bulbs (circumference of 30 - 35 cm) were sectioned or notched into 8, 12, or 16 segments or twin-scaled into 48, 72, or 96 segments for bulblet formation. Our results show that the largest number of bulblets was produced by the twin scaling method, but they take longer to grow to a final, commercial size. Sectioning and notching resulted in larger, but fewer bulblets than twin-scaling. Compared to notching, sectioning provided more space for the bulblets to grow, and is therefore the recommended method. While increasing the number of sections cut from a single bulb resulted in a larger number of bulblets, the diameter of the bulblets decreased. Therefore, sectioning the bulb into 8 segments was the best method for producing an acceptable number of vigorous bulblets.

유한요소법을 이용한 버 형성 예측 모듈의 개발 (Development of a Module to Predict Burr Formation Using the Finite Element Method)

  • The objective of this study is to develop an analytical module for the prediction of burr formation during cutting process using the finite element method. This module is based on the rigid-plastic finite element method, ductile fracture criterion, fracture propagation technique and node separation criterion. The sequence of burr formation from burr initiation through end of burr formation is simulated and investigated by this module. The effect of material properties, such as AL6061-T6, AL2024-T4 and Copper, and cutting condition, such as rake angle and cutting depth, on burr formation is also discussed in this study. To validate this module the analysis results are compared with experimental ones.

  • Monitoring of the chatter vibration is necessarily required to do automatic manufacturing system. Therefore, we constructed a sensing system using tool dynamometer in order to monitor of chatter vibration on cutting process. Furthemore, an application of neural network using behavior of principal cutting force signals Is attempted. With the error back propagation trining process, the neural network memorized and classified the feature of principal cutting force signals. From obtained result, it is shown that the chatter vibration can be monitored effectively by neural network.

  • The monitoring of the chatter vibration is necessarily required to do automatic manufacturing system. To this study, we constructed a sensing system using tool dynamometer in order to the chatter vibration on cutting process. And a approach to a neural network using the feature of principal cutting force signals is proposed. with the error back propagation training process, the neural network memorized and classified the feature of principal cutting force signals. As a result, it is shown by neural network that the chatter vibration can be monitored effectively.
