A Study on the Influencing Factors of Forest Interpreter's Organizational Commitment: Focused on the Job Motivation (숲해설가의 조직몰입 영향요인에 관한 연구: 직무동기를 중심으로)

  • Currently forest interpreter has become one of occupations, and the demand for forest interpretation has been increasing. For that reason, it is important to achieve the goal of forest interpretation and to satisfy its customers. Therefore, this research examined the relationship between organizational commitment and job motivation and analyzed the effects of job motivation on organizational commitment. Firstly, the mean value for interpreters' job motivation was classified into three factors, which were social relationship, affection for forest, and self-development. Secondly, organizational commitment was classified into two factors of goal-oriented and relation-oriented commitments. Thirdly, gender and number of participation made significance differences in job motivation. In addition, organizational commitment of interpreters was different in accordance to their age and affiliated organization. Finally, job motivation had positive impacts on organizational commitment, and especially social relationship influenced positively to general organizational commitment and goal-oriented commitment.

The Effects of Emotional Intelligence on the Customer Orientation and Customer Relationship Management Performance of Hotel Employees (호텔기업 종업원의 감성지능이 고객지향성과 CRM성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose - This study aimed to (a) investigate the effects of emotional intelligence on customer orientation, (b) examine the impact of customer orientation on customer relationship management (CRM) performance (including CRM-related variables such as 'relationship commitment,' 'image of corporation,' and 'customer loyalty'), and (c) identify the conceptual framework of emotional intelligence. Research design, data, and methodology - The data were collected using a questionnaire given to a sample of employees of luxury hotels in the metropolitan area. To test the hypotheses, AMOS were conducted for the 271 respondents of the sample using the SPSS Win 17.0 software. The concept of emotional intelligence (EI) has been on the radar of many leaders and managers over the past few decades. Emotional intelligence is generally accepted to be a combination of emotional and interpersonal competencies that influence behavior, thoughts, and interactions with others. Emotional intelligence consists of four factors: understanding the self's emotion, understanding other people's emotions, emotion utilization, and emotion control. Understanding the self's emotion means to understand of my own emotions. Understanding other people's emotions is to understand of the emotions of the people around me and to know how my friends feel based on their behavior. The concept of emotion utilization means to set goals for myself and then try to achieve them, encouraging myself to do my best. The concept of emotion control means I can control my temper, handle difficult situations rationally, and calm down quickly when I am very angry. Results - As a result of the analysis, three factors (understanding the self's emotion, understanding of other people's emotions, and emotion utilization) were shown to have a significant effect on customer orientation. Emotion control had an insignificant effect on customer orientation. Only emotion control makes it difficult to solve customers' problems because it is a passive behavior. In order to solve the customers' problems, hotel employees have to show a positive attitude. Second, customer orientation had a significant effect on customer relationship management performance (customer relationship commitment, corporate image, and customer loyalty). In other words, customer orientation increases commitment to customer relationships. For example, employees who have a customer-orientated perspective provide good service to their customers, while employees who don't have a customer-orientated perspective can't satisfy their customers. Customer orientation can also generate a good image among customers, because they evaluate the image of a hotel through the behavior of hotel employees. So it is very important for employees to show excellent customer orientation. Conclusions - It is very important for hotel CEOs to manage their employees' emotional intelligence. In order to increase their employees' emotional intelligence abilities, CEOs have to manage the overall corporate culture and reward programs to achieve what they want. This is because the system can lead to a customer-orientated mind-set and CRM performance among employees. As a result, the hotel CEO has to pay attention to the emotional intelligence of employees to achieve strong CRM performance. The sentence as originally written was a bit unclear.   • The satisfaction of customers, who are in a servicescape, will be subject to many environmental stimulations. In particularly, the servicescapes of the store and the customer characteristics are important factors that affecting the emotional commitment of consumers. In this study, the servicescape that consumers evaluated can be divided into physical and social factors. Furthermore, how these factors can affect the emotional commitment through perceived service quality and social interaction will be studied as well. In addition, the moderating effects of the individual characteristics at the perception of servicescape, such as optimum stimulation level and social appropriateness will be studied together. The results show that the physical factor of servicescape is one of the most important elements that affect "emotional commitment" and under this process; the perceived service quality is performed as a parameter. Besides, the social factor of servicescape, such as the other customer and companion affect can also affect emotional commitment through social interaction. On the other hand, through the analysis of optimum stimulation level and social appropriateness, we found that the higher the social appropriateness, the greater the effect of servicescape. Overall, in order to enhance the customer's emotional commitment, we must build high quality servicescape, meanwhile; the management of other customers and the companion are needed at the same time.

  • This paper object is application of electronic Customers Relationship Management(e-CRM) for buyer relationship commitment in korea export firms. So, I'd like to suggest some applications of e-CRM needed to strengthen the export firms in korea. These applications are as follows First, the export companies are required to e-CRM logical architecture that is needs to achievement of buyer relationship commitment. Second, Buyer data source is classify in to three large group by outside data, transaction data and support data. Third, a concept and function of buyer information database. Fifth, interaction of buyer and customizing. finally, a point to be considered of korea export companies are national character, data mining out of buyer information database, difference of data gathering and sustaining up date of buyer's new information.

The Effects of Service Quality on Long-Term Orientation with Customers in Fashion Retail Stores

  • The purposes of this study were 1) to identify the dimension of perceived service quality of fashion retail stores in the basis of expanded marketing mix, 2) to investigate the effect of each dimension on long-term orientation/customer satisfaction, trust, commitment and WOM/repurchase intention) on perceived service quality. The questionnaires were administered to 333 women shopped in a fashion retail store in Gwang-ju city. Data were analyzed by using exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, Cronbach' ${\alpha}$, and multi-regression analysis. The results were as follows: 1) The dimension of perceived service quality based on expanded marketing mix were classified as follow: product, price, place, promotion, people, physical evidence, process services. Long-term orientation was categorized into four factors: customer satisfaction, trust, commitment, WOM/repurchase intention. 2) For the effect of the perceived service quality by dimension, product, people, physical evidence, process services have significant effect on long-term orientation, while price, place, promotion services have not significant.

  • The electric marketplace is in the midst of major changes designed to promote competition. No longer vertically integrated with guaranteed customers and suppliers, electric generators and distributors will have to compete to sell and buy electricity. Unit commitment (UC) in such a competitive environment is not the same as the traditional one anymore. The objective of UC is not to minimize production cost as before but to find the solution that produces a maximum profit for a generation firm. This paper presents a hi-level formulation that decomposes the UC game into a generation-decision game (first level game) and a state(on/off)-decision game (second level game). Derivation that the first-level game has a pure Cournot Nash equilibrium(NE) helps to solve the second-level game. In case of having a mixed NE in the second-level game, this paper chooses a pure strategy having maximum probability in the mixed strategy in order to obviate the probabilistic on/off state which may be infeasible. Simulation results shows that proposed method gives the adequate UC solutions corresponding to a NE.

  • This study analyzed the effects of consumers'sense of community regarding outdoor brands on behavioral commitment, purchasing satisfaction, and repurchasing intention and analyzed the effects of behavioral commitment and purchasing satisfaction on repurchasing intention. Additionally, this study analyzed the differences in sense of community, behavioral commitment, purchasing satisfaction, and repurchasing intention according to the types of outdoor consumers'consumption values. A survey was conducted from July 20th to 30th, 2015, and 527 responses were used for the analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, consumers'sense of community regarding outdoor brands was classified into mutual influences, sufficiency necessity, emotional connectedness, and sense of belonging. Second, outdoor consumers'sense of community had positive impacts on behavioral commitment, purchasing satisfaction and repurchasing intention. Third, outdoor consumers'behavioral commitment and purchasing satisfaction had positive impacts on repurchasing intention. Fourth, there were differences in the outdoor consumers'sense of community, behavioral commitment, purchasing satisfaction, and repurchasing intention according to the types of consumption values. Therefore, outdoor brands can strengthen the relationship with customers considering values and behavior, suggesting the need for a strategy that promotes consumers'sense of community with sustainable management activities that save the environment and local community.

The effect of job stress on job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the beauty service industry (미용서비스업 종사원의 직무스트레스가 직무만족 및 조직몰입에 미치는 영향)

  • This study examines the effects of job stress on employees in the beauty service industry and the consequences on job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Based on the analysis of the job stress of beauty employees, the purpose of the study is to identify the beauty service industry's problems and present marketing implications. First, it was found that employees' job stress in the beauty service industry harmed job satisfaction. Beauty workers with a high job satisfaction increase the quality of service for customers, which can increase the customer's store loyalty, helping the beauty service industry's work performance, thereby further increasing job satisfaction by reducing job stress. Second, it was found that employees' job stress in the beauty service industry harmed organizational commitment. The higher the organizational commitment is, the more sense of belonging is created, which in turn can improve the work performance of the beauty industry workers and reduce the turnover rate. Therefore, it is necessary to find a way to increase organizational commitment by reducing beauty workers' job stress. Third, it was found that employees' job satisfaction in the beauty service industry had a positive effect on organizational commitment. These results show that the higher the job satisfaction related to the beauty worker's current job satisfaction, current salary satisfaction, satisfaction with the boss, satisfaction with the work environment, and passion for the job, the higher the organizational commitment.

The Effect of Service Experience on Behavioral Loyalty in Luxury Restaurant Service Setting : The Causal Role of Cognitive Satisfaction and Emotional Attachment (고급레스토랑의 서비스경험이 행동충성도에 미치는 영향 : 인지만족과 정서애착의 인과적 역할)

  • Due to long-term social distancing due to the spread of COVID-19, business trends of restaurant companies are being implemented in accordance with the changed environment such as packaging and subscription. However, even in this environment, upscale restaurants are generating high profits by trying to differentiate themselves from existing restaurants by providing high-quality services with the best facilities. Therefore, this study describes how customers' experience of upscale restaurant service influences behavioral loyalty. That is, the purpose of this study is to determine the effect of service experience on cognitive satisfaction and emotional attachment, and to examine the causal role of cognitive satisfaction and emotional attachment by confirming the relationship between these constructs and relationship commitment and behavioral loyalty. To verify this, data were collected through face-to-face interviews with 300 consumers who recently used a upscale restaurant. Of the collected data, 275 copies(91.6%) were used for the final analysis, and inaccurate or erroneous data among 25 response sheets were excluded. In this study, the validity and reliability of the data were checked and the research hypothesis was verified by using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 20 statistical package. Frequency analysis was performed to confirm the demographic characteristics of the respondent. Structural equation model analysis(SEM) was used to confirm the fit of the research model and to verify the research hypothesis. As a result of the research hypothesis analysis, it was found that service experience had a positive effect on cognitive satisfaction, and cognitive satisfaction had a positive effect on emotional attachment, relationship commitment, and behavioral loyalty. Also, it was found that emotional attachment had a positive effect on relationship commitment and behavioral loyalty, and relationship commitment had a positive effect on behavioral loyalty. However, service experience did not affect emotional attachment. With this study, marketers and managers of upscale restaurants such as hotel restaurants need to accurately select their target audience, understand their service needs, and then present the appropriate service to them. In addition, they should not only induce cognitive satisfaction by providing excellent service to their customers, but also identify moments of truth and present appropriate services so that satisfied customers can strengthen their emotional attachment. In addition, it is necessary to strengthen the relationship with their firms by forming friendly relationships with customers who have high emotional attachment, and also to induce relationship commitment so that such customers have a strong sense of belonging and attachment to their firms.
