인천항 배후단지 서비스의 고객행동의도 결정요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Determinants of Customers' Behavioral Intention of Incheon Port Hinterland Service)

  • 본 연구는 선행연구와 전문가 인터뷰를 통하여 배후단지의 서비스품질 차원을 구성하는 주요속성들을 추출하고, 이 속성들을 토대로 배후단지 서비스품질 차원과 만족, 전환장벽, 고객행동간에 어떠한 인과관계가 있는지를 파악하여 전략적인 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구결과 인천항의 배후단지 서비스품질은 '상호작용품질', '물리적환경품질', '서비스전달품질'의 3차원으로 구분됨을 확인하였고, 이들 3차원중 '상호작용품질'을 제외한 '물리적 환경품질' 및 '서비스전달품질'이 만족에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 한정된 경영자원으로 배후단지 서비스품질을 향상시키려 할 때 어떠한 차원의 품질을 관리해야 할 것인지에 관한 방향을 제시하고 있으며, 이를 통해 고객들에 대한 보다 전략적인 마케팅 활동이 가능해질 것으로 보인다.

고객만족에 기초한 의류제품 품질특성분류에 관한 연구 (A Study on Classification of Apparel Product Quality Characteristics Based on Customer Satisfaction)

  • Customer expectations and requirements for products play an important role in product planning for companies and decision making process for the consumer. These expectations are expressed by product qualities that consumers consider important when they purchase. Therefore, to identify quality elements that reflect consumer requirements would be a useful guide for companies. The purposes of this study are to find out quality factors of apparel product, to identify apparel product quality elements using Kano's theory, to find attributes of product which improvement are required. Women over 20 years-old from metropolitan areas in South Korea participated in the study and a quota sampling method was used. A questionnaire was arranged with four separate subject sections, importance of quality, Kano's questionnaires, and demographics. Data from 525 questionnaires were used for the statistical analysis. The results were as follows: Six dimensions of product quality(i.e., usefulness, performance, aesthetic, symbol, individuality and appearance) were identified. According to Kano's quality elements, performance was categorized into must-be quality which could lead to product dissatisfaction. Usefulness and appearance were categorized into one-dimensional quality which lead to both satisfaction and dissatisfaction. Aesthetic, symbol, and individuality was categorized into attractive quality which could lead to satisfaction. Findings of this study provide both industry and academic researchers with a guide to increase customer satisfaction in the product development process.

공급체인의 투기 및 순연 전략 적합성이 고객 만족도에 미치는 영향 -전자제품을 중심으로- (Customer Satisfaction and the Fit between Supply Chain Context and Postponement-Speculation Strategies -The Case of Electronic Products-)

  • 기업의 SCM 전략은 기업의 성과 및 고객 만족에 영향을 미치게 된다. 따라서 기업은 제품의 특성에 적합한 SCM 전략을 선택하는 것이 필요하다. 국내 연구에서는 기업이 선택한 전략과 해당 제품의 규범적 전략 사이의 적합성에 대한 실증적 연구가 미흡하다. 따라서 본 연구는 공급체인에서의 일반적인 순연(Postponement)전략과 투기(Speculation)전략을 결정하는 요인에 대한 프로파일 분석을 통해서, 국내 종합 전자산업의 31개 제품에 대하여 규범적인 전략(TO-BE)과 채택한 전략(AS-IS)간의 어떠한 차이가 있는지를 연구하였다. 그 결과, 총 31개 제품 중에서 규범적 전략과 채택된 전략이 일치하는 6개 제품, 불일치하는 10개의 제품이 구분되었다. 연구 결과에 의하면, 규범적 전략과 일치하는 전략을 채택한 경우 고객의 만족도가 높았고 구매 전 만족도 대비 구매 이후 만족도가 더 높은 결과를 나타냈다. 이는 각 기업이 제품별 특성 및 공급체인 환경에 맞는 공급체인 운영전략을 구사하여야 함을 강하게 시사하고 있는 것이다.

  • 오피니언마이닝 기법은 대량의 고개리뷰들에 나타나는 핵심개체 또는 속성들에 대하여 고객들이 느끼는 긍정 또는 부정의 정도를 계산할 수 있지만, 그 분석능력이 단순하다는 한계가 있다. 본 논문에서는 온라인 고객리뷰들에 대하여 다차원적으로 분석할 수 있는 기법을 제안하였다. 기존의 OLAP기법을 텍스트 데이터형에 적용할 수 있도록 수정하였다. 다차원 분석모델은 명사축과 형용사축, 문서축으로 구성되는 3차원 공간 개념을 4개의 관계형 테이블로 실체화 한 것이다. 다차원 분석모델은 기존의 오피니언마이닝, 정보요약, 클러스터링 알고리즘들을 융합할 수 있는 새로운 틀이라는 점에서 그 가치가 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 다차원 분석모델과 알고리즘들을 실제로 구현하여 온라인 고객리뷰에 대한 복잡한 분석을 수행할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 본 연구는 외식업 식공간 색채 및 디자인 연출이 고객의 심리적 반응과 만족 및 재이용에 미치는 영향력을 밝히는 데 목적을 갖고 외식 고객 400명을 대상으로 실증 조사하였는데, 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 외식업 식공간 색채 및 디자인 연출이 고객의 심리적 반응과 만족 및 재이용의도에 미치는 영향력에 대한 검정결과, 유의적이며 긍정적인 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 갈수록 높아져만 가는 고객의 욕구와 치열한 경쟁 환경에서 자사의 외식업 속성으로서의 음식의 맛 이외에 실내 환경과 조화된 기술, 장치장식, 음향, 디자인적 요소를 연출로 이미지화함으로써 고객의 심리적 반응을 인지함과 동시적 요소가 고유의 상징성을 부여한 감정적 반응을 촉진시키기 위함으로서 긍정적으로 평가된 서비스에 대한 결과로서 종국적으로 심리적 만족으로 이어지고, 이는 다시 재방문으로 연결될 수 있음을 의미한 것이라 할 수 있다.

QFD 최적화에서 퍼지 넘버의 이용 (Using Fuzzy Numbers in Quality Function Deployment Optimization)

  • Quality function deployment (QFD) is a widely adopted customer-oriented product development methodology by translating customer requirements (CRs) into technical attributes (TAs), and subsequently into parts characteristics, process plans, and manufacturing operations. A main activity in QFD planning process is the determination of the target levels of TAs of a product so as to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction using the data or information included in the houses of quality (HoQ). Gathering the information or data for a HoQ may involve various inputs in the form of linguistic data which are inherently vague, or human perception, judgement and evaluation for the information and data. This research focuses on how to deal with this kind of impreciseness in QFD optimization. In this paper, it is assumed as more realistic situation that the values of TAs are taken as discrete, which means each TA has a few alternatives, as well as the customer satisfaction level acquired by each alternative of TAs and related cost are determined based on subjective or imprecise information and/or data. To handle these imprecise information and/or data, an approach using some basic definitions of fuzzy sets and the signed distance method for ranking fuzzy numbers is proposed. An example of a washing machine under two-segment market is provided for illustrating the proposed approach, and in this example, the difference between the optimal solution from the fuzzy model and that from the crisp model is compared as well as the advantage of using the fuzzy model is drawn.

소비자 만족도에 관한 경험적 연구: 신흥 시장의 휴대폰 이용자를 대상으로 (An empirical study on customer satisfaction: Mobile phone users in an emerging market)

  • 휴대폰을 구매하는 과정에서, 소비자들의 선택 기준은 다양한 요인으로 구성된다. 이동 통신의 중요성이 증대된다는 점을 고려하여, 이 연구는 구조 방정식 모델을 통해 소비자 만족 행동에 영향을 미치는 요소들을 조사하고자 했다. 이 연구는 소비자 만족을 결정하는 여섯 가지 주요 요인을 제안하며, 인구통계학적 요인들의 조절 효과를 검증했다. 386 명의 적극적인 이용자로부터 수집한 설문 데이터를 분석했다. 연구 결과는 브랜드 명칭, 사회적 영향력, 그리고 애프터 서비스가 소비자 만족의 세 가지 중요한 결정 요인임을 보여준다. 또한 연구 결과는 인구통계학적 속성이 고객 만족에 영향을 미친다는 점을 제안한다. 이 연구는 휴대폰 소비자의 만족을 신흥 시장의 관점에서 조망함으로써, 이론적 이해를 확대하고 실무적 함의를 제공한다.

브랜드 스토리의 진정성과 허구성이 고객기반 브랜드 자산에 미치는 영향 (The effects of authenticity and fictionality of brand story on customer-based brand equity)

  • This study aimed to identify sub-dimensions of the authenticity and fictionality of a brand story and analyze the effects of authenticity and fictionality on customer-based brand equity. Data were obtained from a group of 213 males and females in their 20s and 30s living in Korea using an online survey institute. Results showed that the authenticity and fictionality of a brand story are composed of reality, excitement, exaggeration, fictional symbolism, influence, sincerity, relativeness, mysteriousness, and unreality. Of these, sincerity, excitement, reality, influence, and mysteriousness had significant effects on brand imagery; sincerity particularly exerted a relatively more substantial influence on brand imagery. Also, influence, mysteriousness, excitement, and relativeness impacted performance positively, and exaggeration impacted performance negatively. This indicated that a well-constructed brand story with authenticity and fictionality had a positive impact on the brand image. Excitement, mysteriousness, reality, relativeness, sincerity, and influence of a brand story had significant effects on brand judgement. In contrast, only excitement and influence positively impacted brand feelings, and unreality had a negative impact on feelings. The exciting and influential brand story impacted brand attitude. Also, brand image and attitude positively impacted sharing and purchase intention, while brand performance did not affect recommendation intention. These findings contribute to identifying a brand story's attributes, authenticity, and fictionality and provide insights for marketers on creating brand stories to increase brand image and attitude and to build customer-based brand equity.

전통시장 선택 속성이 관계품질에 미치는 영향 : 소비감정의 조절효과와 소비자 가치의 매개효과 (Effects of Perceived Choice Attributes in Traditional Markets and Relationship Quality: Moderating Effects of Consumption Emotion and Consumer's Value)

  • Purpose - This study examines college students' perceived choice attributes in traditional markets and the relationship quality. We study the relationships between attributes that common people look for while choosing a store (e.g., product, service, advertising, and atmosphere), consumption emotion, consumer's value, and relationship quality. Research design, data, methodology - In order to verify the relationship between choice attributes and relationship quality, and moderating (i.e., consumption emotion) and mediating effects (i.e., customer value), we collected data from 202 consumers in Gyeonggi province to test the theoretical model and its hypotheses. For this purpose, this study, utilized an empirical methodology. Results - First, contrary to the previous research findings involving college students, this study observed that four factors of store choice attributes at a traditional market were important to consumers in heightening the relationship quality. Specifically, product (β = .608, p < .01), service (β = .351, p < .01), advertising (β = .237, p < .01), and atmosphere (β = .425, p < .01) are significantly related to relationship quality. Second, consumers selected product (β =. 521, p < .01) as the most important attribute. Atmosphere (β = .254, p < .01) and service division (β = .148, p < .05), in this order, are the other important factors in this regard. However, advertising (β = -.112, p = .100) is not statistically significant. To improve and develop the relationship quality with consumers, traditional markets should ensure supply of suitable products and goods, improve store atmosphere by modernizing facilities, and educate merchants to improve their services. Third, the results of the moderating effects, although marginally statistically significant, suggest that for the consumers with low consumption emotion for traditional markets, an affirmative experience of products and store atmosphere heightens their values. In addition, the consumers having low consumption emotion who could promote consumer values were found to improve and develop a marginally significant relationship quality. Finally, the study revealed that the consumer's value exhibited a complete mediation effect in the relationships between service and relationship quality, and advertising and relationship quality and a partial mediation effect in the relationships between product and relationship quality, and atmosphere and relationship quality. Conclusions - Consumer satisfaction is important to increase the competitiveness of traditional markets, and products and store atmosphere are important attributes to increase the relationship quality. Specifically, merchants should supply different products, modernize their facilities, and improve store atmosphere to compete in traditional markets. In addition, traditional markets should provide value and competitive prices to attract consumers, and should maximize the consumer's value and promote the consumption emotion. Traditional markets should evolve to accommodate changes in the consumer's value and invest in not only functional elements but also symbolic elements.

식생활 라이프스타일 유형이 다이어트 도시락 선택속성의 중요도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Food-related Lifestyle on the Importance of Selected Attributes of Diet Lunch Box)

  • The study subjects were 302 adult males and females aged more than 20 years living in the metropolitan area of South Korea. This study was conducted to obtain baseline data to establish proper development and marketing strategies by examining the effects of food-related lifestyles on the importance of diet, purchasing behavior towards diet lunch boxes, and their selected attributes such as menu, packaging, and services. With respect to food-related lifestyle, a cluster analysis was performed by using five factors such as convenience factor, health factor, safety factor, taste factor, and economy factor obtained from factor analysis to derive the economy type, the taste and economy type, the convenience type, the safety type, and the health type. As a result, the respondents regarded 'food hygiene (4.59)', 'freshness (4.47)', 'taste (4.28)', and 'nutrient balance (4.19)' as the selected attributes of diet lunch box menus. Moreover, the importance of diet lunch box menus (${\beta}=0.179$) was increased with increasing safety orientation. 'Shelf life label (4.42)' was the most important selected attribute of diet lunch boxes, followed by 'ingredient label (4.19)', 'nutrition facts label (4.16)', and 'indication of origin (4.15)'. In particular, the importance of packaging for diet lunch boxes (${\beta}=0.203$) was increased with increasing safety orientation. With respect to the selected attributes of services in purchasing diet lunch boxes, 'provision of personalized menus (4.07)' was the most important, and the importance of services for diet lunch box (${\beta}=0.160$) was increased with increasing taste and economy orientation. Based on the above results, the respondents gave importance to the selected attributes related to food safety and health such as hygiene and, freshness. In addition, they also placed emphasis on hygiene and safe factors such as shelf life, ingredients, and nutrition facts labels. Therefore, it is considered necessary to develop diet lunch boxes by taking these factors into account. Furthermore, in services for diet lunch boxes, it is considered necessary to establish a service system capable of providing consumers with specialized menu or nutrition counseling according to the food-related lifestyle for their proper health management. Particularly, because consumers place emphasis on both food hygiene and safety, and health, it is considered necessary to thoroughly manage hygiene, safety, and nutrition in menu or packaging so that it is possible to enhance customer satisfaction by considering these selected attributes in greater detail.
