  • 본 연구에서는 개인용 컴퓨터 정도를 사용하여서도 각 성능을 계산할 수 있고 또 실제 상황이 비교적 잘 반영될 수 있는 모델을 채택하였다. 한편으로 이 모델의 적합성 여부도 검토하여 해석 결과의 적용한계를 추측하고져 하였다.

  • In this study, we have analyzed the running performance of Mugungwha coach in curves to grasp the problems relating to this coach's curving performance and present improvement plans. Simulations and tests to analyze curving performances are carried out, and through this Process we could prepare a plan to improve the running performance in operation.

  • For the safety of railway, it should be evaluated for the running safety by measuring the derailment coefficient. Although railway has run the fixed and maintained rail, some of railway is derailed. This report shows the results that performed the static load test, wheelset manufacturing for test, main line running test on the basis of the derailment theory and experience. It is executed main line test into more than 80km/h for estimating the curving performance and running safety of Gwangju EMU. As the test results, could confirm the curving performance and running safety of Gwangju EMU from the results of the wheel unloading, lateral force, derailment coefficient etc. Derailment coefficient was less than 0.8, and lateral force allowance limit and wheel load reduction ratio were enough safe.

  • On a conventional rail vehicle, passive primary suspensions stabilize wheelsets in the longitudinal and yaw direction. However, these suspensions reduce the natural curving ability due to the profile of the wheels. Stabilizing and steering of the wheelsets generate the conflict problems in design process. Therefore, most systems are designed to guarantee the stability in spite of decreased curving performance. As a result, severe wear of the wheels and rails occur on tight curves and squeal noise on curving is high. Active steering has been proposed to satisfy stabilizing and steering performance simultaneously. This paper describes the possibility investigation about the application of the active steering bogie for a urban railway vehicle. Vehicles run on an amount of tight curves at mid or low speed in urban railways. Thus, it is important to reduce the wear and squeal noise between wheels and rails. Simulations show that active steering can be reduce the wear and squeal noise significantly compared to conventional systems.

  • 철도차량의 곡선주행성능은 유지보수관점에서 매우 중요하다. 곡선주행성능과 관련된 대차의 조향성능은 실차를 이용한 실선로 주행시험이 적전하나 차량 개발단계에서는 이를 검증하기가 용이하지 않다. 따라서 차량의 조향 특성을 효율적으로 시험하기 위한 축소 곡선트랙에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 대차의 곡선 주행을 모사하기 위한 곡률반경 $200{\sim}250m$의 급곡선과 등가인 1/5 scale 규모의 축소 곡선트랙을 설계, 제작하였다. 1/5 scale 대차를 이용한 주행시험 시험결과 곡선 주행특성이 비교적 잘 반영되고 있음을 확인하였다.

한국형 틸팅열차 한빛200의 임계속도에 관한 연구 (A study on the Critical speed of Korean Tilting Train Hanbit200)

  • The critical speed above which the vehicle become unstable is one of the items that should be verified in the development of a new train. In the case of a high speed tilting train, which requires both higher critical speed and higher curving speed, the critical speed should be more carefully treated because the both requirements are in conflict with each other in the conventional train design. The main purpose of the present work is to estimate the linear and non-linear critical speeds of 200km/h Korean Tilting Train 'Hanbit200' under development. The newly developed self-steering mechanism was attached to the tilting train to ensure that the critical speed falls under the lower yaw stiffness which is needed to secure higher curving performance. The simulation for predicting the critical speed was done by a commercially available vehicle dynamics software. A full scale roller rig test was carried out to validate the numerical results and to verify the effectiveness of the self-steering mechanism.

  • The sophisticated technologies, ensuring both stability and curving performance, are required for the medium high speed train running on conventional railway line where tangent and curved section mixed together. We can hardly meet the both requirements conflicting each other with the conventional type of bogie. Effective solution is to apply stabilizing mechanism for the bogie design, which increase hunting stability or dynamically critical speed while maintaining curving performance. In this research the numerical analysis by means of multi-body dynamic simulation S/W, experiments by using roller test rig and main line running test have been comprehensively performed for the 200km/h Korean Tilting Train with newly developed stabilizer. The paper proposes the effectiveness of stabilizer and its usefulness based on the results of analyses.

  • 본 논문에서는 횡압으로 곡선추종성을 판단하였고, 주행안전성은 윤중감소율 및 윤중과 횡압의 비율인 탈선계수로 평가하였다. 고출력 신형 전기기관차의 곡선추종성 및 주행안전성 평가한 결과, 탈선계수는 시험축이 열차의 앞쪽에 위치할 때가 뒤쪽에 위치할 때보다 크게 나타났으며, 탈선계수의 최대값은 경부선 상행선에서 0.572로 나타났다. 횡압은 곡선 선로가 많은 구간에서 크게 발생하여 주행속도보다는 곡선반경에 비례하는 것으로 나타났으며, 최대 축당 횡압은 태백선에서 77.6 kN 까지 발생하였다. 윤중감소율은 영동선에서 47.6 %까지 발생하였다. 최고속도에서의 주행안전성과 최소곡선반경에서의 곡선통과성능이 요구하는 기준을 만족하였다.

The Investigation of flexible flat display in improving flexibility

  • In this study, it was mainly focused on the mechanism and reliability performances of PI/PET composites after many times of curving. We developed a new process of spacer for flexible display to improve the maintenance of cell gap. This new process used the laser carving technology, which is widely applied on printing press, to produce the pattern of spacers and shaped both of the alignment film and spacers simultaneously by press of pattern. Assembling the spacer-shaped film and plastic substrates together well and it shows an excellent performance on the maintenance of cell gap and reliability of curving.

This research has been performed to estimate the linear and non-linear critical speed of 200km/h Korean Tilting Train which has been developing. The newly developed self-steering mechanism was attached to the tilting train to secure critical speed under the lower yaw stiffness which was inevitable to secure higher curving performance. The simulation to predict critical speed was done by commercial vehicle dynamic S/W. Full scale roller rig test was carried out for the validation of numerical results and effectiveness of self-steering mechanism.
