요전박유리피판을 이용한 하인두협착 재건 (A Case of Reconstruction of Hypopharyngeal Stricture with Radial Forearm Free Flap)

  • Reconstruction of the pharyngoesophagus is one of the most difficult challenges in head and neck surgery. The goals of pharyngoesophageal reconstruction include restoration of a person's ability to swallow and to speak with minimal morbidity, but no current reconstruction modality is clearly best. Following its first introduction as fasciocutaneous flap by Yang in 1981, the forearm flap based on radial artery has become recognized as a very reliable and relatively easy one to use. The forearm flap has thin, pliable and predominantly hairless skin and scant subcutaneous layer In addition, its vascular pedicle is long and of large caliber, which greatly increases the chance of successful revascularization. The forearm flap shows the potentiality for better functional rehabilitation in swallowing and speech as well as the possibility of three dimensional reconstruction. We experienced a case of radial forearm free flap for the reconstruction in a patient with the hypopharyngeal stricture. The early return of oral feeding was possible and successfully enough to return to the normal daily activity.

  • ATC facility manipulates ground-on-board information, which transmits speed limit, varying as wayside environments - safety facility, track gradient, inclination, bridge and tunnel and other factors, installed for safe operation of trains on wayside. Efficientiation and automatification of operation and maintenance is being realized, by measuring if there are any erroneous information, using a measuring car. In this paper, we study in priority the methods for measuring accurately distinctive properties of internal malfunctions of track circuits, the performance decrease of condensers, and the unbalance of return cables, which are actually required for functionality improvement of high-speed line signal measure facilities, by measuring the unbalance of return current given because of damaged factors of external track circuits.

  • 전월세 전환율이 시장이자율 또는 임대인의 기대수익률이라면 전국의 전월세 전환율은 동일하여야 한다. 그러나 전월세 전환율은 항상 시장이자율보다 높은 수준을 유지하고 있다. 본 연구는 임대주택의 공급원가 구성요소를 현재의 주택가격, 시장이자율, 감가상각비, 보유세, 그리고 임대차에 따른 위험이 존재할 경우 위험프리미엄으로 파악하고 현재의 주택가격과 각 요소와의 관계를 파악함으로써 주택임차료를 현재 가격으로 표현하였다. 이를 통해 주택가격의 변동 폭을 암묵적으로 가정하거나 전월세 전환율에 현재의 주택가격이 반영되지 못한 단점을 극복하였다. 본 연구는 임대주택의 공급 원가를 구성 요소 간의 조합으로 표현함으로써 전월세 전환율이 시장이자율이 아니라 임대인의 필수수익률 또는 요구수익률임을 밝혔다. 이는 전월세 전환율이 항상 시장이자율보다 높은 현상도 설명할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 전월세 전환율의 지역별 차이 및 주택 유형별 차이가 발생하는 원인도 설명할 수 있다.

누설전류 예측을 위한 동적 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구 (A study on dynamic simulation for estimation of leakage current)

  • DC traction system generates leakage current because running rails are used in return circuit. And it is very important to estimate the leakage current to the train operation situation. Therefore this paper presents dynamic simulation technique that is very similar to the real operation situation using TPS and PSCAD/EMTDC. For this we model DC traction system included in DC substation, variable feeding circuit model and variable train model. And we extract train location and power using TPS program and use these data for dynamic simulation. Finally we can estimate leakage current to the various operation condition using dynamic simulation.

  • This paper presents a new algorithm to analyze a train voltages of multi-trains in auto-transformer-fed AC railway systems, using electrical equivalent change. The train current will be divided into circulation and return currents, and these current values are the same. By evaluating each current independently, the result will be more precise. The train current flows through the all auto-transformer corresponding to track impedance. In analyzing the railway system, the algorithm is based on the K.C.L, K.V.L, superposition and circuit separation method. Multi-train's voltages are determined by calculating the catenary voltage at each train's position and adding up these train's voltage drop. Case studies use a field operational data, show that tile proposed method is easily applied.

전기분해를 이용한 하수 슬러지 감량 (Volume Reduction of Waste Water Sludge using Electrolysis)

  • In this research, volume reduction of activated sludge using electrolysis was studied to find an optimum condition using lab scale experiments. Wasted sludge was treated by electrolysis with controlling current density, chloride concentration, electrode distance, and reaction time. Volume of return sludge was reduced by 9.79% in average while maximum was 16.7%. Sludge volume reduction efficiency was affected by current density and reaction time. It was reversely proportional to the electrode distance. Especially current density was effective on the system performance significantly. Electric conductivity, salinity and COD were increased by electrolysis implying sludge disintegrated and converted to COD in part. An empirical equation for total solid removal efficiency by electrolysis was proposed by multiple linear regression analysis as: $TS_{rem}$(%) = 5.534 ${\times}$ current density (A/l) + 0.178 ${\times}$ reaction time (m) + 2.758.

과전류 제한 기능을 갖는 연료 분사장치의 고속 구동 방법 (High Speed Operation of Fuel Injectors with Over Current Protection)

  • High speed drive method for a fuel injector cleaner with current control is presented in this paper. The fuel injector cleaner is used for cleaning the fuel injectors in vehicles when it is clogged with deposit and rust. The fuel injector cleaner cleans the fuel injector by turning on and off the fuel injector rapidly. When the fuel injectors are cleaned, the switching speed is very important. However, when the fuel injector is turned off, the residual current in the fuel injector coil slows down the return action of the plunger in the fuel injector deteriorating performance and speed of the fuel injector cleaner. In this paper, fast turn off operation method of fuel injectors is developed for more effective cleaning. The simulation and experiment results show the validity of the proposed method.

  • This paper presents the real time stray current monitoring techniques on the DC railway system. These techniques are two types. The first one is the rail potential measurement technique between running rail and earthing mats on the important locations such as substation, station, and so on. And the second one is measurement technique of stray current through substation earthing mats and from collection mats, and continuous monitoring of return currents through the running rails. We need to apply these techniques on DC railway system to monitor stray current periodically and maintain the system properly.

  • In recent years, in an effort to improve the efficiency and the power density of the front-end power factor correction(PFC), the interleaving of multiple converter is employed. The conventional interleaved continuous conduction mode(CCM) boost PFC converter requires input and output voltage sensing and three current sensing to obtain current balancing between modules. In this paper, the interleaved CCM PFC converter based on modulated carrier control is proposed. With the proposed method, two phase interleaved PFC can be realized simply without line voltage sensing resistor and can achieve current balancing without additional current sensing resistor on common return path. The simulation studies are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control scheme.

  • With the wide spread of direct current (DC) electric railroads in Korea, the stray currents from negative return rails become a pending problem to the safety of nearby underground infrastructures, such as gas pipelines, water distribution lines, heat pipelines, POF cables, etc. The mitigation of such interference, however, is mainly dependent on stray current drainage bond methods, which connect the underground metallic structures to the negative feeder cables attached to the rails with diodes (polarized drainage) or thyristors (forced drainage). Despite some merits of these methods, they increase the total amount of stray currents from rails and cause other interference problems. In this paper, we summarize the domestic conditions of stray current interference and describe a conceptual design of other mitigation methods for such interference.
