스마트폰 블루투스/와이파이 신호기반 교통정보 생성 시스템 연구 (Study of the System for Generating Traffic Information Based on Smartphone Bluetooth and WiFi Signal)

  • 현재의 교통정보는 루프검지기나 영상검지기를 통해 수집된다. 이러한 방법은 날씨와 시간에 영향을 많이 받기 때문에 이를 대체할 교통정보 생성 시스템이 필요하다. 이러한 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 기술로 무선 네트워크를 이용한 교통정보생성 시스템이 연구 단계에 있다. 차량 내의 스마트폰을 이용하여 교통정보를 생성하는 시스템에 대해 제안하고 필드 테스트를 통해 얻어진 수집율과 통행시간 오차율을 통해 제안방법의 성능을 검증하였다. 또한 회전방향별 교차로 통행정보를 생성하는 알고리즘에 대해 제안하고 이러한 유효정보의 양을 증가 시키는 방안에 대해 제시하고 결과를 확인한다.

전기철도 전차선로의 설치 상태 판단을 위한 복합검측 기술 구현 (Implementation of Multi-functional Type Condition Monitoring System for Railway Catenary Systems)

  • The railway catenary systems consist of a complex structure, electrical and mechanical conditions are exposed to dangerous environment due to current collection between pantograph and catenary systems. These two types of conditions for the catenary systems are critically assessed for management and are becoming increasingly more dependent on reliable inspection system. In this paper, a new measurement system which enables inspection of catenary faults was studied and implemented. The system uses wavelength band of ultraviolet (UV) and IR (Infrared) to measure the insulation of corona and temperature of catenary wire. In order to determine the sensitivity of implemented system, the performance test such as distance detection range of UV camera and temperature resolution of IR camera were conducted, respectively. The field test of development system was also conducted in metro and high-speed line using mobile type UV and IR multi-composited measurement systems.

경간형식과 고속열차 판토그라프 접촉력 특성의 상호관계에 대한 시험적 고찰 (An Experimental Study on the Correlation between Span Types and the Contact Force of the Pantograph for High-speed Train)

  • In this paper, we introduce the on-line test of the current collection characteristics for HSR 350x(Korea High Speed Train project) that have been performed in the Kyoung-bu high-speed line since 2002. Through the analysis of measured data during on-line test, the variation trend of contact force between pantograph and contact wire of catenary according to the span type, the track conditions and driving patterns is reviewed. In order to analyze the variation trend of contact force, we have checked the span type of catenary in KP 24 - 125 out of Kyoung-bu high speed line and obtained the statistical processing result per each span type. This study shows that the track conditions do not affect on the dynamic performance between pantograph and contact wire catenary, and the span type and the driving pattern are important factors in determining the good interaction between them.

파동반사와 도플러 효과를 고려한 전차선의 속도향상 설계 (Speed-up Design for Overhead-line Considering Contact Force Fluctuations by a Wave Reflection and a Doppler Effect)

  • There are many massive components added on the railway overhead-line. These components cause larger fluctuations of contact forces, which are due to wave reflections and Doppler effects when a high-speed train passes those. In this paper, mathematical formula are derived for the relation between the added mass and contact force fluctuations. Using the derived formula, we calculate a added mass on the overhead-line which cause amplification factor to become 2.5. German design practice requires that amplification factor due to the wave reflection should be less than 2.5 to obtain good current collection performance. To show the validity of the formula, simulation results are compared with the calculation results. Simulation results showed that contact force fluctuations grow rapidly when an added mass is larger than the calculation result. Therefore, the simple form of formula can be used for estimating maximum added mass not to cause large fluctuations of contact forces in early design phase.

  • 현재의 인터넷 환경은 컴퓨터를 이용한 접근뿐만 아니라 IoT로 전이되고 있다. 이에 따라 발생하는 데이터는 방대해지고 있다. 이 데이터들을 어플리케이션에 맞추어 수정 없이 제공한다면 해당 어플리케이션은 원래 성능을 발휘하기 어렵다. 이에 본 논문에서는 수집된 데이터를 정제하기 위해 빅 데이터 처리 기법인 맵 리듀스를 이용하여 데이터를 필터링하는 기법에 대해서 제안한다. 맵 리듀스에 지식 식별을 위한 단계를 추가함으로써 센서에서 발생하는 데이터를 필터링하는 과정에서 이질성을 해결하고자 한다. 이를 위해 XMDR을 이용한다.

Guaranteed GNSS-based Road Charging Applications through User-Level Integrity

  • Integrity plays a fundamental role in the feasibility of 'liability critical' applications. Road charging, e.g. road tolling in urban zones or on highways, represents a series of liability critical applications where a guarantee in integrity could be a true enabler: being the mechanism that prevents the incorrect charging of users and enabling the advancement of these applications using GNSS such as Galileo and EGNOS that provide integrity mechanisms. However, the integrity of the end user position is not guaranteed by the EGNOS and Galileo integrity services alone as provided. Algorithms have been developed to supply a guarantee on the performance attainable at the user level through the provision of a horizontal protection level that responds to local user conditions such as multipath or interference. In addition, an application has been developed that implements road charging mechanisms based on the availability of user-level integrity. Results obtained show that the user-level integrity algorithms provided the required level of integrity guarantee and granularity of the horizontal protection levels necessary for executing urban and rural (highway) road charging. In addition, the road charging application developed shows that the current application domain requirements can be met through the provision of guaranteed integrity and that further reductions in the horizontal protection levels along with increased signal availability will enable future road charging modalities.

강체전차선로 고속화를 위한 설계파라미터 민감도 분석 연구 (A Study on a Sensitivity Analysis of Design Parameters for the Speed-up of Overhead Rigid Conductor System)

  • R-Bar (Overhead Rigid Conductor system) has been lately used for the speed of over 200km/h in Europe, while it has been developed and used for the max. speed of 120km/h in Korea. Because R-Bar has advantages of reduction of tunnel cross sectional area and maintenance, its development for more high-speed is urgent in Korea having many mountain area. Therefore a sensitivity analysis of design parameters for the speed-up of R-Bar has performed in this study. For the analysis, we have developed a program for the prediction of dynamic characteristics between a pantograph and R-Bar. The program was evaluated with the actual test result and a current collection performance according to the parameters such as a distance between brackets, a stiffness of bracket and of R-Bar rail was predicted with the program.

  • 1920년대에 소개되었던 Shewhart 관리도는 관측치가 서로 독립임을 가정했다. 오늘날은 데이터 측정과 자료수집 기술이 발전하면서 자기상관 공정 데이터가 많이 발생하고 있으며, 이것은 통계적 공정 관리의 성능에 부정적인 영향을 끼치게 된다. 자기상관이 존재하는 데이터에 대하여 가장 쉽게 접근할 수 있는 관리도는 먼저 자기상관구조를 모형화할 수 있는 적절한 시계열 모형을 가정한 다음 잔차를 구하여, 그 잔차에 기반한 Shewhart 관리도를 적용하는 것이다. 실제 문제에서 시계열 모형의 참 모수값은 알려져 있지 않으므로, 이 값은 일단계 표본(과거의 관리상태 표본)으로부터 추정된다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 모수추정이 이단계 표본을 모니터링하는데 어떠한 영향이 있는지 살펴보았다.

Effects of the gold nanoparticles including different thiol functional groups on the performances of glucose-oxidase-based glucose sensing devices

  • Thiol-based self-assembled anchor linked to glucose oxidase (GOx) and gold nanoparticle (GNP) cluster is suggested to enhance the performance of glucose biosensor. By the adoption of thiol-based anchors, the activity of biocatalyst consisting of GOx, GNP, polyethyleneimine (PEI) and carbon nanotube (CNT) is improved because they play a crucial role in preventing the leaching out of GOx. They also promote electron collection and transfer, and this is due to a strong hydrophobic interaction between the active site of GOx and the aromatic ring of anchor, while the effect is optimized with the use of thiophenol anchor due to its simple configuration. Based on that, it is quantified that by the adoption of thiophenol as anchor, the current density of flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) redox reaction increases about 42%, electron transfer rate constant ($k_s$) is $9.1{\pm}0.1s^{-1}$ and the value is 26% higher than that of catalyst that does not use the anchor structure.

Adaptive Success Rate-based Sensor Relocation for IoT Applications

  • Small-sized IoT wireless sensing devices can be deployed with small aircraft such as drones, and the deployment of mobile IoT devices can be relocated to suit data collection with efficient relocation algorithms. However, the terrain may not be able to predict its shape. Mobile IoT devices suitable for these terrains are hopping devices that can move with jumps. So far, most hopping sensor relocation studies have made the unrealistic assumption that all hopping devices know the overall state of the entire network and each device's current state. Recent work has proposed the most realistic distributed network environment-based relocation algorithms that do not require sharing all information simultaneously. However, since the shortest path-based algorithm performs communication and movement requests with terminals, it is not suitable for an area where the distribution of obstacles is uneven. The proposed scheme applies a simple Monte Carlo method based on relay nodes selection random variables that reflect the obstacle distribution's characteristics to choose the best relay node as reinforcement learning, not specific relay nodes. Using the relay node selection random variable could significantly reduce the generation of additional messages that occur to select the shortest path. This paper's additional contribution is that the world's first distributed environment-based relocation protocol is proposed reflecting real-world physical devices' characteristics through the OMNeT++ simulator. We also reconstruct the three days-long disaster environment, and performance evaluation has been performed by applying the proposed protocol to the simulated real-world environment.
